Natural. Organic. Eco.  Green.  In today's world of manufactured ingredients and compounds, these buzz words tend to signal to the consumer that this product is better for them and the environment.  These labels also tend to add a bit extra to the price tag.

I'm a big fan of natural products. I try to buy NZ but if I can't find an NZ product I like I'll go for something natural made overseas.

I am a bit cautious of 'natural' as a buzz word though and try to read the ingredients to see if the brand is walking the talk.

I definitely prefer natural products. Over the years, I've become more and more aware of what goes into my body and I don't want to put anything that isn't natural in there. I pair this with trying to eat pretty clean (everyone has the odd bad day right?!). I also try to look for products that are environmentally friends, and I find that the natural products are often environmentally friendly too. I really love that a lot of the big brands are starting to get on board with "natural" and "enviro-friendly". This type of skincare is becoming much more affordable and there's heaps of range now.

Most of my products are natural based especially my face cleansers.scrubs and shower gels because I prefer using ingredients that are good and beneficial for my skin and are free from any nasties like parabens, sulphates etc plus I like to think I am doing my bit to help save the environment by continuing to buy these products.

When it comes to skincare I much prefer natural. It feels more gentle on the skin and doesn't have those nasty chemicals like parabens. But when it comes to make up I'm more about what stays on my face for 8 hours. Though I do avoid the worst of the chemical ingredients.

I love natural products, but not all have worked or too expensive to buy. I currently use everything cruelty free, so I hope all the products I use will end up being natural

Not necessarily natural but I always look for cruelty free that's my main concern

I have been using Skinfood and Essano skin care products for couple of years now, switching depending on which brand is on sale and will continue to. This article has got me thinking on how I can be more environmental friendly, interesting

This is exciting :) these days for me it depends on the product and the reason I am wanting it / what it is to be used for as to weather it must be. I like natural but if it is something like ant-wrinkle cream then science is fine with me too I want something that works

I love natural products and have been using some for a long time. There are some good ones and some not so good. Talc/mica is natural but that doesn't mean that it's good for you in fact it can irritate your lungs. I try to use environmentally friendly products as much as I can. I like to clean my house with white vinegar and biodegradable products so that it has less of an impact on our environment.

Natural has to be better for you

I love Natural products and luckily NZ makes some amazing ones. My teenage daughter has eczema on her face and she can only use natural products and there are some really good ones available at great prices too.

It depends on whether I keep the skincare products for a long time as natural tends to go hard or off.

7th July, 2018

I will not look for natural products. I do not agree with "natural is better" as that is not always the case. People tend to think that essential oils are beneficial in skin care but they are actually irritants and for some people are very problematic.

I will look for products that do not contain ingredients that will irritate my sensitive skin.

I totally prefer natural because my skin tells me so. I try adding products that are full of nasties and it screams and erupts into horrible bumps and pimples yikes. Natural is definitely the way to go for me.

I love, love, love natural skincare and beauty products. In fact for the most part up until last year almost everything I used was natural the few products that I use in my skincare routine that aren't are mainly a few products from the Ordinary. Most of the skincare I use is natural and even a few makeup items I have are. I have skin that can get sensitive so having the most natural skincare helps my skin to react to things a lot less.
