'Tis the season to give beauty!!

How much do we love this time of year? So much! The holiday spirit is alive and well at BRHQ...and we have to admit, a great deal of that is due to seeing Christmas releases by some of our favourite brands! It's gift sets galore, and we are feeling it!

So what's out there? What do we want to give others? What do we want to give ourselves (because self-presents is totally a thing)? Read on!

Estee Lauder Beautiful EDP Luxuries

This gift set is worth it for the box alone. How gorgeous and festive is the design? Once you get past the box you can then enjoy five Beautiful products, including a full-size 100ml Eau de Parfum Spray, an Eau de Parfum Purse Spray, perfumed body lotion, perfumed soap and a perfumed body powder! The ideal gift for the perfume lover who enjoys a little luxury!

Revlon Let It Glow

Does anyone else hang out for Revlon's Christmas offerings? Their gift sets are such good value and this year they've had so many fantastic new releases that we've been extra excited to see what's on offer. We are feeling the pull towards the Revlon Plump Up The Volume set, but ultimately our love of all things glowy sees us heart-eyeing the Revlon Let It Glow set. With Photoready Brightening Primer, the purple shade of the Color Correcting Pen, the Insta-fix Highlighting Stick and the Bronze Glow Highlighting Palette - this is the ultimate summery kit!

L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Golden Age Set

The skincare lover in your life will smother you in love when they open up their pressie to see a gorgeous moisturising giftset from L'Oréal! They've four sets to choose from - each tailored to different skin'ss needs - and you'll save from $17.99 and get a bonus cosmetic bag, which also makes it the perfect gift set to buy for yourself if you're a fan!

Budget friendly and beautiful to boot! The Eye-Conic Glam Collection from Wet n Wild features a Lash Renegade mascara, Colour Icon Eyeshadow Quad, Pro Line Felt Tip Eyeliner and a super cute makeup bag. Ideal for a makeup lover or someone just getting into it!

Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Carnaval Magic

How good is it that we can easily get this beloved brand here in little ol' NZ now? SO GOOD! And this set is a great way to try the range and see what all the fuss is about! I mean... it's a great way for you to buy this for someone else so they can try it out. Oh, who am I kidding. Buy one for you! Buy one for them! Bum Bum for everyone!

Great suggestions I'm tempted to buy them for myself rather than gifts for others

10th December, 2018

These are all so cute. I definitely don't need any new products at the moment though as I still have a lot to use up.

6th December, 2018

I'm shocking for online shopping much to my hubbys disgust haha but i'm online shopped out at the moment so as much as I would love to purchase some of these gift sets they will have to go on my wish list for now.

6th December, 2018

Some great ideas for presents for daughters and friends, and even got present from Hubbie sorted now.

30th November, 2018

These articles always tempt me. I love a good gift set at xmas. Luckily or not so the ysl one I really want is not available online at Mecca.

28th November, 2018

I had my eyes on that Carnaval Magic Set When I saw it Mecca Maxima. Talked myself out of it. I love these for gift ideas

9th December, 2018

I'm not sure I could buy cosmetics that have 'bum' in the name Macs lol

9th December, 2018

Lol true .. I must avoid buying . I have too many things now

28th November, 2018

That wet and wild mascara brush looks amazing

28th November, 2018

Only would like to get the gift set with the bum bum cream, I’ve read so many raves about its scent that I’m very intrigued by it. I nearly bought it, but decided to use up my current body lotions first and then I’ll buy it. :)

28th November, 2018

Gee I would be more than happy to get any of these for Christmas!! Loving the Four Little Bites Lippies!!! Super cute!! :)

28th November, 2018

I'm looking at purchasing either the La Vie Est Belle perfume set or Jimmy Choo perfume for myself as a Christmas treat. The bum bum set cracks me up, as a kid I was given bum jeans and was horrified so I got my mother to remove the label lol.

27th November, 2018

My online shopping hand has a perpetual itch year round! I did buy myself the four beauty blenders since the one I currently own should've been tossed year ago but I paid 40 bucks for it and so I've clung to it. To be fair I am on the ball about cleaning my brushes and makeup tools. I bought the set so I can been better about tossing out the sponge when it gets discolored and a bit spotty. Now if Trak Pak (I bought it from Cultbeauty) would actually ship it to me from their warehouse where it's been sitting for over a week, I'd really like to put that limited packaging box on display under the Christmas tree.

30th November, 2018

Yay, it arrived and it's so colorful and the box looks like it's designed for expensive candy. Turns out Trak pak does ship on schedule they just don't update their incremental progress now that I know that I'll happily order from Cultbeauty again.

27th November, 2018

I have been online shopping up a storm lately but I prefer gift sets for skincare or luxe makeup. So far I've purchased the Nars advent calendar, some Dermalogica and a Revitalash gift set for myself haha but reallllllyyy I was saving money on the Dermalogica and Revitalash and they're essentials!

26th November, 2018 mum loved the L'oreal trial so I know what gift set I'm picking up for her! Hubby is a good Mecca shopper so know there will be an awesome gift set under the tree this year from him and the kiddos!

26th November, 2018

I'm loving the beauty blender gift box, it's so pretty. I already bought so many beauty stuff from these Black Friday sales that's been going on, I don't think I'll be buying anything else for a while.

27th November, 2018

I need to hone down on the spending I saw so many deals luckily I only made four orders over the Black Friday/Cyber Monday. Last year I ate my heart out and spent heaps more.

26th November, 2018

Love the beauty blender box, but would never need that many beauty blenders at once. I've been loving the Chi Chi palettes coming out with the gift sets. I do love a good palette (and Chi Chi).

27th November, 2018

I think the idea is you have new ones on hand so you can toss out the old ones every 3 months like you're supposed to. I'm really bad at that rule I've kept my sponge for years. Though to be fair I wash it pretty soon after I use it.

3rd December, 2018

I'd love to buy it tooo..then maybe I'd throw the old one out ..I do wash it but they're kind pricey to replace too often...
