Would it shock you to know that some Paw Paw balms ingredients list say they are made up of 96% Petroleum Jelly? Have you got one in the house now? Go check the ingredients list and tell us what's in it!
Women. We are reknowned for our multi tasking abilitiies. Why do one thing, when you can do three? Why solve one problem, when you can solve four, and make tea? It stands to reason then that if any product is going to get us excited, it's going to be a multi purpose product right?
Products with more than one use are generally more cost effective and environmentally friendly. They also mean we don't have to cart our whole beauty kit around with us. But can one product really do it all?
Paw Paw Ointments are nature's multi purpose product. They are just as versatile as your tub of petroleum jelly, if not more so. Not only does it make an excellent lip salve, it has antibacterial and antimicrobial benefits and can be used as a topical salve for minor burns & scalds, sunburn, cuts & minor open wounds, nappy rash, chafing, insect bites, splinters and many, many more uses.
We're putting Sukin Pawpaw Ointment to the test. This petrochemical free, versatile ointment with fermented Paw Paw nourishes and soothes chapped lips and dehydrated skin. Alongside fermented Paw Paw is a blend of natural oils, wax and extracts including Castor Seed Oil and Papaya Fruit Extract to hydrate and protect the skin’s moisture barrier.
This multipurpose ointment may also be used to ease the discomfort associated with redness and itching due to dryness while also improving the texture of skin. It's suitable for all skin types and like all Sukin products, is paraben and sulphate free, Vegan and kind to bunnies!
We're looking for THIRTY people to put this gorgeous product to the test and write a review of their experiences with it. So why not get chatting to us about all things paw paw.
Do you regularly use a paw paw ointment? What do you use it for? Are all Paw Paw balms created equal? Do you really know what the ingredients are? Would it bother you to discover yours had petroleum jelly in it? Would you expect them to be more 'natural' like the Sukin Paw Paw Ointment with it's natural oils and waxes?
Talk paw paw to us below!
