Do you opt for a matte cosmetic finish?

I love matte makeup I have a never-ending battle with shine I hate shine and love matte lipstick and foundation...

I love love LOVE a bright matte lip. In fact, today I was wearing a bright pink Australis velourlips matte lippie. That particular product is packed with pigment but chronically dries out my lips. By the end of the morning I was left with flaked lips - super gross.

LOVE matte products! Would love to try one of these matte ink colours!! I am also always hunting for a better foundation. I have facial burn scarring and find it hard getting a great foundation that looks good and has the staying power - plus it's matte! :)

I choose my foundation for the look - so it has to work with my skin... maybe that is why it's so hard to get the perfect one! Love the range in these Matt colour lips!

I love matte colours! My favourite lip colour is one that my best friend got for me form oversees and I haven't been able to find it here in New Zealand! I would love to try these to see if I might have a new favourite colour!

Sounds like a fantastic trial but they don't have the shade of foundation that findation recommended for me so I'll sit this one out the matte lipsticks look really lovely. I am drawn to the third shade Lover and the last one Voyager. I haven't seen them in person so I don't know if it's the same shade on screen as it is in real life or if dries down to that shade.

I love matte as its a bit more longer lasting, and sometimes looks much more natural than a gloss/dewy product

Oh. My. Squeeee! I would kill to try some matte make up! Ok, so I wouldn't kill. But I have only got one lipstick that I like, and matte seems way more up my alley with Lover at he top of the list to try. No one likes a shiny face, so trying some matte foundation and trying to understand the difference sounds good to me haha

I like matte unless I'm going out and then I will put on some shine.

Depending on the side of the bed I get out off...something Matt sometimes a bit of shine Mostly neutrals but do a bit of a daring red on a night out

I don't like shine on my face. Definitely a matte person. However, am divided on my lips. At work, its definitely a matt look but a shine looks good on an evening out.

I love matte lips! Glossy just is too wet and shimmery for me. I'm obsessed with liquid lipsticks atm that can last through food without reapplication all day because I'm super busy at work and just often can't be bothered to retouch. As for foundation, either matte with lots of highlight, or just matte glowy. Any more shimmery and the foundation makes it look like i'm sweating. Not ideal! Matte is definitely in for me :)

Love matte on my lips - as long as it's not so matte that it's drying. I used to like matte foundation but since I got on top of my skincare and I'm not as oily, I prefer a more natural finish!
