How often do you treat your hair at home?

"I am my hair" sang Lady Gaga.  A sentence almost every woman will relate to.  Have a good hair day and we can conquer the world.  A bad hair day is enough to ruin a day with nothing much on, but argh a bad hair day when you have say, a job interview, a first date or a girl's night out - it's just cruel.  How many times has a woman just pulled her hair back in to a pony tail and said "that will have to do"?

Split ends, damaged or weak hair make hair harder to style, harder to rock the au natural look and ridiculously impossible to get a sleek, chic do.  So what's the answer?  Treatments.  Deep, intensive, repairing, whatever word comes before it, the word treatment is the key.  A salon treatment is a lovely add on to your regular hair dressing appointment but it could turn out quite pricey if your hair needs weekly treatments!  So can you get a good treatment at home?  We're sure a lot of our Beauty Reviewers will have lots of at-home experiences of hair treatments - whether you've raided the kitchen cupboards or the supermarket shelves.

Well...of course, we have a hair treatment to put to the test.  We're looking for oodles of reviewers to put the brand-spanking-new Garnier Fructis Hair Food Masks to the test.  The 98 per cent natural origin formulas are free of parabens, silicones and artificial colourants.  Each variant can be used as a conditioner, hair mask and as a leave-in treatment - multi tasking treatments...we love it!!

Garnier Fructis Nourishing Banana Hair Food is enriched with banana, shea butter and coconut oil for stronger, healthier hair. It deeply hydrates and repairs, leaving dry hair soft and healthy.

Garnier Fructis Smoothing Macadamia Hair Food is enriched with macadamia seed oils, soya and coconut oil to intensely moisturise and smooth, leaving dry and unruly hair soft and healthy.

Garnier Fructis Repairing Papaya Hair Food is enriched with papaya, sunflower seed and coconut oils that repair and smooths ends, leaving hair strong and healthy.

Garnier Fructis Protecting Goji Hair Food is enriched with goji, soya and coconut oils to revive the radiance of coloured hair and protects from damage, leaving hair vibrant and healthy.

Get chatting to us below and tell us how often you use a treatment on your hair at home, and what kind of treatment you use - and most importantly - which flavour of Garnier Hair Food you'd like to review!

Just bought the papaya one today. Can't wait to try it.

I very rarely use A treatment but I should as I bleach and straighten my hair . I would love to try the repairing papaya hair food. Sounds amazing

5th July, 2018

I have used spray on treatments such as macadamia oil for shine and use a repair and protect treatment every time I dry my hair with a blow dryer which is most days. I would love to try the papaya treatment. Sounds good enough to eat!

1st July, 2018

My wavy hair goes so dry in winter, plus I've just started using a new styling product that is way too drying. I use a treatment once a week but it still looks like straw.

Ooooh I am totally loving the look and sound of these. I use a natural hair serum with essential oils every day and my dry scalp has not returned. I love the sound of the Nourishing Banana and the Protecting Goji.

I NEVER do treatments on my hair. It just seems like so much hardwork i can never be bothered.Would love to try the Goji one as i need more life to my hair.It can look dull at times and now that i am straightening my hair because it short, its defintely noticeable

29th June, 2018

I'd love to try the goji one!

My hair is a mix of dry and frizzy and ever since I've moved to a city that's a lot more humid it's crazier than ever! I couldn't tell you how much I have spent of different products trying to take this mane.

I always stop to smell these masks in the supermarket. They honestly smell good enough to eat and if they do all that they claim to do then they will be a god send. I would love to try the smoothing macadamia hair food, as my over worked hair could do with some love.

Oh no... this is what I'm doing wrong! I don't treat my hair!! I have highlights in my hair and use a straightener daily. After shampooing, conditioning then towel drying I apply an oil to my hair so that I can get a comb through it and to protect it from straightening. But my hair looks dry and frizzy... I never thought to use a treatment!! Please pick me!!! Xxx

These sound great! With wild, frizzy curly hair that can get quite dry in the winter the banana one definitely sounds nice. :)

28th June, 2018

My hair would love some TLC and i would love to give this a try on my dull unhealthy looking hair.

28th June, 2018

I barely treat my poor hair. at the moment its looking quiet dull and lifeless

27th June, 2018

At home hair treatments were my favourite.. then all of a sudden I forgot about them and now it's a rare treat usually experienced at the salon when I eventually get there! My hair is damaged from the amount of bleaching it's been through, so it really needs regular TLC. I'd love to try the Goji Hair Food, although all of the "flavours" sound delish.

27th June, 2018

I can just smell the papaya one already! Would love to try on my split ends. Have used a clay one on my scalp before but will be good to do the other end of my long hair.
