What witchcraft is Hyaluronic Acid?!  Seriously, if you have dry skin, and haven't discovered or tried HA yet - YOU NEED TO!

Here are the Beauty Basics of HA.

Hyaluronic Acid is a natural compound - Hyaluronic Acid is something we are born with in our bodies and it decreases with age.  It's probably one of the reasons babies skin is so hydrated, soft and smooth!  Hyaluronic Acid is found in our joints, muscles and in our skin - it's kind of the CRC of the body - without it we'd become brittle and dry.

It's a 'dermal filler', because it absorbs lots of moisture and fills in wrinkles.  It preserves collagen, which in turn firms and plumps up the skin.

The Trial Team.

L'Oréal Paris® Revitalift Filler 1.5% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum has been specifically developed to deliver an advanced anti-wrinkle efficacy with a rapid absorption and non-greasy finish. A scientifically formulated blend of 2 forms of pure Hyaluronic Acid, to help retain skin's own moisture:

  • 0.5% Macro Hyaluronic Acid to intensively rehydrate and smooth skin surface by retaining 1000x its weight in water
  • 1% of Micro Hyaluronic Acid to penetrate into skin.

It sounds amazing right?

If you'd like to be among the first forty people in New Zealand to try it, why not comment below about all things Hyaluronic Acid - have you used it?  Did you like it?  Or have you never even heard of it until now?

Why do you want a spot on this trial team?

Heard heaps about it but never tried it before!

Hi, I have never tried HA although I've heard of it I didn't know much about it. i used to have a combination skin but as I've become older it has become dry. This sounds just what I need and I would love to try it.

I have tried Hyaluronic Acid. It is an amazing product but it makes a difference as to what form it comes in and how easy it is to apply. With regular use, it smooths out those minor wrinkles and makes your face feel super soft and smooth. It is definitely recommended. I have not tried this one and would be interested to compare it to other products I have used.I mainly use L'Oreal products and I notice they have been putting out several versions of products with this acid in it, some better than others. I would like to give it a go.

I have very very dry skin so HA is my vest friend. I try to find products which have HA for my moisturiser. I so wanna try this product

18th February, 2020

Yes I have, I think it’s an incredible ingredient. I’ve used it as a ‘just Hyaluronic” serum and in serum that boasts the use of the ingredient along side others. It will be interesting to hear what the trial team says about this new product.

Yes! HA is one of my absolute must-haves for skincare, I use it in a couple of forms regularly; a serum, and a gorgeous thick moisturiser infused with HA. I also love the occasional mask, for a boost! It makes my skin so smooth and glowy, I have been known to pop some on just before heading out because it almost looks like what an amazing primer would do! I am always down to try new forms of my favourite skincare acid, and I am always looking for the perfect bottle of HA, so I would love to be on this trial team! It's my dream trial!

Yes I have and it's a wonderful ingredient. I only use the ones that are cruelty free though.

Never tried it but it sounds amazing!

Omg this sound EXACTLY what I need right now. My skin is having a major hissy fit and getting dry flaky patches (& more wrinkles:0 ) I have heard of hyaluronic acid but not exactly sure what its all about , but reading about it makes me want to soak in it :)

I'm in my late 30's and struggling with my skin- combination oily, and getting wrinkly. I'd love to try this

8th February, 2020

I’ve tried one brand before but would like to try another for comparison. There are so many on the market and it’s hard to tell if price point makes a difference to the product and it’s effectiveness so I would like to try another so I can find a brand to stick with

Wow! I've heard about this ingredient but have never tried it myself. I'd really love to give it a go. I'm in my late 30s now and am really starting to notice fine lines developing so I'm desperate to find something that helps my skin retain moisture. I like seeing that it is mineral oil free as this usually clogs up my skin and often makes it break out. I'd really love to see if this worked well on my skin.

7th February, 2020

Oh my gosh. I have been dying to try a product with HA in it. I turn 30 this month and my skin is starting to show signs of wear and tear. My fine lines are beginning to turn into wrinkles and I'm dying to know if it will make a difference and put a pause on the clock for a little while longer so I can pretend I'm still 25 aha!

7th February, 2020

I have super dry skin so HA is a product I incorporated in my daily skincare route. I have 2 HA serums in rotation as I am experiencing the pros and cons of both, would love to add a third to my collection. I have tried the ampoule from from same range and have loaves it so would really love to try this serum out too!

Oooh I’d love to try this! Sounds amazing!
