Have You Ever Considered Laser Treatment?

Ah ageing - it's inevitable and it happens to us all.  It's one thing to openly accept these facts, but when you're alone, looking in the mirror, admit it, you've prodded and poked and stretched out those wrinkles, blemishes and sagging areas, willing them to disappear.

It's not surprising then that cosmetic procedures to quickly tackle these issues are becoming more popular.  Laser Resurfacing is a treatment to reduce facial wrinkles and skin irregularities, such as blemishes or acne scars. The technique directs short, concentrated pulsating beams of light at irregular skin, precisely removing skin layer by layer.

But let's be honest - treatments like laser are out-of-reach for a lot of us.  So what's a girl to do? Well...

The L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Laser x3 range has been formulated with active ingredients Pro-Xylane (concentrated to 3%), fragmented Hyaluronic Acid and LHA to offer in-depth anti-ageing results.  What does this mean? That Laser x3 is an anti-ageing solution that visibly corrects wrinkles, re-densifies skin and re-supports contours - it's L’Oreal Paris’ first anti-ageing skincare product to challenge a laser session!

4 products create an easy 4 step routine to rev up your fight against wrinkles, blemishes and sagging!

  • STEP ONE – Serum.  Serum’s are formulated to provide additional care in conjunction with your day or night cream.  They generally contain a higher concentration of active ingredients to help give skin an added boost.  Use morning and night.
  • STEP TWO – Day Cream.  Day creams are designed to hydrate, nourish and protect the skin from everyday aggressors.
  • STEP THREE – Night Cream. Whilst you sleep, skin is renewed, nourished and repaired.  Night is therefore an ideal time to provide the skin with active ingredients to support this process.
  • STEP FOUR – Eye Cream. The skin around your eyes is more sensitive and delicate than the rest of your face.  That’s why you need a specially formulated product that targets your eye area twice a day.

How amazing does this sound?!

Well we're looking for 30 members to form a trial team and put the four products to the test.  Yeap - four products for each member of this review panel!

If this sounds like something you'd love to try, make sure you take our quick survey here, telling us about your skin.

why not get chatting to us about your skin as it ages.  Are wrinkles, uneven skin tone and sagging making you consider treatments such as laser resurfacing?  What's stopping you from taking the plunge?

Why do you want a spot on this trial team?

I used to really want to get laser treatment due to acne scarring but now it would be great for sagging and fine lines! This sounds like an interesting product!

I have never considered getting a laser treatment before because it gives me a shiver thinking about something like this to play with my skin. I am impressed with the L’Oreal laser x 3 treatment though as it is not rays that will be used but the formula in the form of lotions and am very keen to try this.

I have actually tried the laser - I got a Treat Me voucher for 4 sessions a few years ago. I have a ton of sun damage, a lot of pigmentation, and during pregnancy it made my melasma flare up big time. Anyway, considering how much the laser hurts (seriously) and how appalling the skin looks in the weeks afterwards (I seriously frightened my children and colleagues), I don't think it's worth it. Having said that, I do hear there are new, better lasers out there now. I still have a ton of pigmentation in spite of all that. I've tried to be ever-so-good with my sun screen, but I do spend a lot of time out doors, walking dogs, hiking etc. So skincare is where it's at for me! I'm always on the hunt for products that seriously tackle ageing and aged skin. If a product really can do what a laser does, without the pain, expense, and horrifying result in the short term, count me in! I am, however, skeptical....but remain hopeful!

I'm 38 and do TCA facial peels once a year, which is apparently the "old school" version of lasers! It's great for removing fine lines and for firming up skin. It would be great to find something that keeps the results in place for more than 6 months because I don't have time to do the peel more than once a year! The price of laser treatment is why I just stick to the peel, but the downtime of a laser would be much shorter and more convenient!

For sure, hubby actually commented that he is starting to see slight wrinkles on my chest area (was sat there looking at him horrified). I hadn't actually noticed, so I ran to the bathroom to check and omg I have - slight freak out now. So need some miracle cream to push those babies back where they came from. Is it normal to get those at 34?

Ooh these products sound amazing. However I don't think my skin needs these products yet

I am fifty ,and have noticed that from that day I have fine lines wrinkles showing up. I even think my lips have got smaller . So was thinking about lip filler. So if this product may make me look better then I won't have to look at other ways. I think finding something better than surgery has to be better. So I would love to try this for the team fingers crossed.

I have not yet considered laser treatment and at just turned 28 I don't think I need it. I have two lines/wrinkles? one under each eye that bother me some but not enough to try anti aging products as yet. Will be interested to read the reviews though.

This sounds exactly like the treatment my skin need. Laser treatment is way out of my league but I'll happily try something else more cost effective. As I'm getting older, my skin is feeling that way too.

6th December, 2017

No, laser surgery is not on my list - too chicken! So anything not involving surgery rates very highly. I am using a different L’Oreal product at the moment which my skin just loves, so hitting it four ways could be the boast I need!!!!

6th December, 2017

I've considered laser treatment for hyperpigmentation. I've also developed a few fine lines in the one year I've been a nurse. Stress!!!

6th December, 2017

Would love to try a laser treatment, but it's way out of my budget. Being 50+ I have wrinkles around my eyes and mouth and sagging around the jawline which could do with some attention! I always remove my makeup and I moisurise morning and night, but obviously as I get older, that's just not enough.

6th December, 2017

I certainly my would have laser treatment if it wasn't so expensive ,however I would love to try these products ,I'm always on the lookout for something new that will improve the texture of my skin and help the aging process .

Having a milestone birthday this month ,wanting to look good ,this would be wonderful to have the opportunity to try all four products ,yes please count me in ..

6th December, 2017

I actually do laser treatments and they are amazing. It’s painless but a bit expensive depending on who you go to
