What better time is there to get your glow on than winter? When the days are dull and drab, it's our time to shine! One of our favourite ways to achieve radiance without hitting the highlighter hard? A good, glowy foundation!

There's a fair few on the market... but thanks to our wonderful Beauty Review community, we've been able to narrow down five of the best to help you achieve that Glowing Gal look? Check these out...

Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish Sponge-on Cream Makeup - 4/5

They say:  Flawless Finish Sponge-On Cream Makeup has a creamy texture that goes on effortlessly for a flawless, radiant finish. Infused with micronized diamond powder, this light-reflecting cream foundation manipulates and scatters light to diffuse the look of imperfections. Immediately, the look of fine lines, pores, blemishes, scars and dark spots are diminished. Skin appears smoother and more even in tone, as luminosity and radiance are boosted.

You say:  My skin looks glowing and perfecto with a medium coverage of this foundation. This foundation lasts well on my skin and doesn't rub off too easily. I feel that my skin has never looked better than when I'm wearing this, so to me it's worth it!  BR Member - Marcel.

L'Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation - 4.1/5

They say: Discover the new Pro finish of long-wear up to 24-hour wear with a hydrating glow. Lightweight and creamy, this long lasting foundation goes on smooth with a glow finish that lasts. With medium coverage, it instantly hides imperfections for a clear complexion. The hydrating foundation with SPF is ideal for normal to dry skin.

You say:  This foundation is so amazing. I’ve had trouble with extremely dry skin all my life and was happy I found this foundation, it’s cheap and great for dry skin leave a beautiful glow finish and last all day.  BR Member - Katiebogle.

(BR Kellie says:  YES! Holy grail right here! I thought nothing could replace my Nars... this has!!! My skin is dryish with an oily t-zone and this covers both extremes beautifully, giving my skin a healthy glow while not snagging onto dry patches or emphasising my acne breakouts.)

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation - 4.3/5

They say:  Rimmel’s first liquid foundation that instantly reawakens skin with a healthy, radiant glow. Light, moisturising texture applies smoothly and leaves skin feeling soft and comfortable all day. Gives an instant flawless, natural-looking finish. Visible anti-fatigue effect with peptides and a Vitamin Moisturising complex.

You say:  I have quite dry skin and found that this foundation gave me a luminous glow that I can not achieve without copious amounts of highlighter. I think the coverage is great and the ability to build this from a medium coverage to a fuller one is also really helpful.  BR Member - hayleyduthie13

L'Oréal True Match - 4.4/5

They say:  True Match super-blendable liquid foundation perfectly matches the colour and texture of your skin, hiding imperfections with its fine, creamy texture. The result Flawless coverage.

You say:  I don't know what witchcraft goes into this beautiful foundation! It is full coverage yet glowy and it stays on all day without drying out my already dry skin, they have the PERFECT shade for me.  BR Member - phoebegracem.

NARS Sheer Glow - 4.5/5

They say:  A glowing, natural radiant finish foundation with sheer and build-able coverage that immaculately evens skin tone. Replete with skincare benefits and the NARS Complexion Brightening Formula, it leaves skin hydrated, more luminous, softer and smoother.

You say:  Nars Sheer Glow is perfect, it creates an even skin tone and has buildable coverage (perfect for red blotchy areas). The finish looks like a second skin and gives a healthy looking glow which remains consistent throughout the day.  BR Member - madimoo.

These all sound so good. Need to try something new as my old foundation isn't working so well anymore.

7th June, 2019

I tried the Elizabeth Arden. Unfortunately it wasn't my colour but it reminded me a bit of moisture mist from shezideo. I still have yet to try the loreal infallible. I'm a bit on the fence with the true match and the Rimmel London. I'm not sure if the coverage would be too sheer. I have a Rimmel London consealer it's highly rated on BR but I find the coverage bad.

28th May, 2019

I haven't tried any of these. I always struggle with finding my shade.

27th May, 2019

The L'oreal foundation is simply stunning.

23rd May, 2019

I want to try that L’oréal Foundation as soon as my current finishes.

20th May, 2019

I haven't tried these foundations yet although I want to get color matched to the l'oreal one if my shade is available. The Nars Radiant Longwear is one of my faves atm.

20th May, 2019

I've tried most of these and agree they are some of the best picks.

20th May, 2019

I haven't used any of these. I'm into CF brands if anyone has any suggestions? I have used..Wet N Wild which I like and Mirenesse which is pricey but very good.

Any foundation that will look flawless and keeps my dry, freckled skin happy, I’m willing to try. I’ve been on a foundation hunt lately, and haven’t found my holy grail foundation yet. These all sound like they’re worth a try. I would love one with a weightless and hydrating formula that will give me a nice coverage and a smooth, flawless, healthy glow, without separating from my fine expression lines.

I have tried the Rimmel powder which was lovely, but wasn’t for my dry skin, hopefully their foundation would do better. On goes more onto my next-to-try list.

20th May, 2019

Loreal’s True Match is fab, not so much of a fan of EA’s Sponge-on Cream makeup though. Haven’t tried any of the others, they look pretty good.

19th May, 2019

Ooooh some of those look gorgeous.

19th May, 2019

I’ve used the rimmel was a good for the price I paid. Love my revlon though or even better double wear.

19th May, 2019

I've used all but NARS.....My skin recently changed and is far more hydrated, so is now loving Elizabeth Arden flawless finish - goes on better for me with a brush than their sponge. Rimmel & L'oreal Infallible are both great too - L'oreal being the favourite of the two for me to give me a nice fresh glow.

19th May, 2019

I haven’t used any others products.

19th May, 2019

I have used a few of those. I would like to try the rimmel wake me up. My skin is certainly looking dull right now.
