Oh to be one of those people who are blessed with thick lashes. People whose eyes look emphasised simply due to good genetics. Who haven't had to spend a small fortune looking for a mascara that will take their spindly spider leg eyelashes and transform them into tarantula lashes. If you're in the same lack-of-lash boat as me, you'll know the pain!
Luckily for us, members of our fabulous Beauty Review community have tried and tested loads of mascaras designed to volumise lashes so that we can narrow down our search for the perfect 'my lashes but a zillion times better' mascara! Here's five of the best... (Tarantula lashes, here we come!)
1. Maybelline Volum' Express the Colossal
Beauty Review Member Aimzeey says: I really enjoy the brush on this mascara. I have very tiny eyelashes, so always struggle to get nice volumous lashes without cakey and clumpiness, however this baby is my go to!
2. Maybelline Volume Express Mascara - Falsies Flared
Beauty Review Member Nicola_yeah says: Makes my eyelashes look long, thick, black and amazing! Doesn't get smudgy or clumpy and is really long lasting! Quite often when I'm wearing it I get asked if they're my real lashes!
3. CoverGirl Lashblast Volume Mascara
Beauty Review Member Howie says: I love this mascara, it makes my lashes look great. It really lengthens them and makes them look nice and full. I like the formula, I can apply a second coat without it clumping. I find it doesn't transfer around my eyes during the day which is amazing.
4. Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara
Beauty Review Member jennyr says: This is my all time favourite mascara. It goes on so easily, separates, curls, lengthens and thickens. Stays all day too.
5. L'Oreal Paris Lash Paradise Mascara
Beauty Review Member Priyatina9 says: This is the best mascara by far, and so reasonable too! This makes the lashes look more volumous and fluffy which is what you get with fake lashes. It works wonders!
There you have it! Five mascaras that will give you lush lashes! Did your favourite make the list? Is there one you're keen to try? Or do you have a holy grail that we need to know about?
