Five of the Best Affordable Concealers!

Concealer is the paperclip that holds my face together. It disguises the lack of sleep. It covers the hormonal pimples. It hides the sins of a big night out. But there's good concealer... and then there's the concealer that bunches and creases and emphasises the bad instead of hiding it.

So which concealers are the best? Check out five of the best, that have the added bonus of being kind to your bank account!

1.  LA Girl HD Pro Concealer

Beauty Review Member SarahAmy says: The consistency is good, I would say that it's a medium to full coverage, it's a nice formula that doesn't go chalky and sits nicely on the skin.

2.  L'Oréal Paris More Than a Concealer

RATED: 4.4/5!

Beauty Review Member Daisy-lee says: You don't need to use much as it goes a long way. The thing I love the most is the texture...so smooth and creamy. I find any setting powder seems to work well with this concealer giving a natural skin finish. It also lasts very well still looking fresh at end of the day.

3.  Rimmel Lasting Radiance Concealer

RATED: 4.2/5

Beauty Review Member MFS says: This concealer gave great coverage and didn’t dry my skin out or clog my pores. I felt confident wearing it knowing that my blemishes were adequately hidden. I would recommend this product in a heartbeat.

4.  Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles

RATED: 4.2/5

Beauty Review Member Jinx says: The formula is quite creamy but not too emollient. I found it did a great job of covering my dark circles. I have an oily skin type and this lasted through the day for me.

5.  Maybelline Fit Me Concealer

RATED: 4/5

Beauty Review Member -LIANA- says: Absolutely love this concealer, I have mine in sandy beige and I found it to do exactly what it should. Easy to apply as it is very thin and light on skin, the applicator makes life so much easier with just a couple swift brushes and a dab with a makeup brush and woolah, DONE!!

And there we have it! Five concealers that won't break the bank!

I have tried a few of these brands before but are usually too dark. The shade choices have got better over the years though. My favorite concealer is pro long wear, by Mac. Blends well and suits my skin tone.

I have tried several of those. L'Oréal infaillible stick consealer is good too

I’m still using the thin Lizzy concealer which was great when I was young but I definitely need to upgrade to one of these!

The Maybelline Age Rewind is my favourite of all time. While it’s not super coverage it still gives enough to cover some darkness and looks so natural.

I have found the Maybelline Instant Age rewind Concealer is really good for dark circles in particular. Still looking for one that is gentle on sensitive skin around the eyes.
