Remember when the matte lipstick trend was huge a few years ago? Many of us loved the look but found it hard to find a lipstick formula that didn't dry out with wear; sucking the moisture from our lips with it! We ended up swapping our lipstick bullets for liquid formulas in the hopes they would be our hydration salvation, only to find applying them neatly an absolute nightmare. It was during the matte liquid lipstick trend that I discovered I still couldn't colour in the lines!

Well, those clever folks at L'Oréal have create a silky smooth, matte lipstick, in a handy slim bullet. Meaning you can get that stunning matte lip look, without battling dryness; or falling at the first hurdle of applying it neatly.

Shade: 346 Rouge Determination

The L'Oréal Colour Riche Intense Volume Matte contains L'Oréal's highest pigment concentration in a lipstick yet. It's infused with caring ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid and ArganOil to leave lips feel moisturised all day.

And the finish? A powdery matte finish, that will last for up to 16 hour wear, with no transfer or smudge.

There are 12 shades to suit all lip tones including the perfect red for every lip tone; 346 Rouge Determination.

I would love to try the Fuschia Libre. I love a lasting lipstick that isn't so drying. This looks like a colour I had years ago that I loved and couldn't find again. But I wear lots of different colours.

Normally I love a bright lippy, but probably need to tone it down a bit as I get older! I'd love to try the Color Riche Classic Intense Volume Matte 103 Blush Audace Lipstick

I love wearing lipstick everyday, and need a refresh in the lippy department as mask use is no longer mandatory. The colour I would choose is Matte Coral 241 Irreverent Coral. Smooth matte lips that feel nourished sounds like the way to go to me!

Oh I love a good matte lipstick because it's so much longer lasting. I always found them too drying though and it would leave my lips cracked and dry. I would absolutely love to trial this to see if it's more moisturising!

I have been looking for my perfect blush pink so 103 Blush Audace would be my pick. I am such a big fan of L'Oreal cosmetics, and especially love that they are constantly improving their already great products.

These look really good, I remember my first ever lipstick was from loreal, good times! :) 640, 633 or 602, basically any of the rosey-nudey shades I’ll gladly trial! :)

I wear lipstick almost everyday I love wearing lipstick with makeup a lot of my friends don’t wear any but it just makes you look so put together. I would love to try #103 blush Audace as I’m quite pale and I think it could look really nice with my skin tone. A lipstick that’s hydrating and long wearing would be so nice because typically I don’t wear mattes as I don’t want to have dry lips!!

I started wearing matte lipstick about 2 years ago and absolutely love the look! This product looks great especially as it is a stick application and not brush to keep the edges sharp and to be honest I would be keen to try any colour especially the darker ones like 480 Plum Dominant, 366 Rouge Avant Garde or 482 Mauve Indomptable.
