There are two types of people in this world - those who love cosmetic gift sets and those that don't.
The naysayers dislike the simple fact that inevitably there will be at least one product that you don't like, doesn't suit you or you won't use.
Those that love a gift set, will love the chance to snap up their favourites, whilst stepping out of their comfort zone to try something new. And there's always the regift - keep what you like and what you don't like, well, isn't that what sisters are for?
Now of course there are also two types of beauty gift sets - the awesome and the "hmm, thanks Nanna" ones. You know the ones, strong smells, bath salts (when you don't have a bath), overly floral packaging that would compliment your bathroom, only in 40 years time. Maybe a gift set is a good thing if it comes from someone that knows the recipient well?
