What body part is drier at the moment?

Do you have sensitive skin?  If you do it's no doubt your primary consideration when buying skin care.  You'll look for products that advertise they are suitable for sensitive skin.  But it's not your only consideration right?  Sensitive skin will also fit into one of the skin types; oily, dry, combo etc.

Those suffering from what I like to call 'Sensitive +...' skin absolutely need to look for products that are formulated and tailored for their skin, which is where brands like La Roche-Posay come in to play.  All of La Roche-Posay products are designed for sensitive skin, whilst also targetting specific concerns.

Today's trial products are tackling dry skin - whether it's your face or your hands!

The La Roche-Posay Hyalu B5 Serum is a repairing, replumping and anti-ageing concentrate.  It's ultra hydrating and leaves skin feeling plump to the touch while repairing and replenishing skin’s natural moisture barrier.

This serum combines concentrated pure hyaluronic acid, madecassoside and vitamin B5 for optimal effectiveness while also being suitable for sensitive skin.

La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Mains is a hand cream that moisturises, protects and helps restore the skin barrier.  It's perfect for those with overworked, over-sanitised or sensitive skin.  This moisturising cream consists of 4% Niacinamide to soothe and 30% Glycerin for intense hydration and to provide an invisible wash and friction resistant barrier.

We're going to be looking for 30 members to each put two La Roche-Posay products to the test.  So, tell us - which product has you most excited?  Have you tried La Roche-Posay before?  Get chatting below!

I have never tried this brand but super keen to see if they are actually good!

I have sensitive skin and get itchy dry peeling skin around my nails after using soaps and some sanitisers so this would be amazing!!!

Both are dry on me, to be honest! But my face is definitely worse than my hands, so I would absolutely LOVE to trial the face product!!!

100% my hands! So dry and leathery

I have really bad skin sensitivity from working with chemicals. Hand sanitisers leave my hands red, sore and itchy after one or two uses, and if used more frequently my skin cracks and bleeds. I am always on the look out for a good hand cream, unfortunately some of the ones I've tried I am also sensitive to and make the problem worse. I am very interested in trying the Cicaplast Mains hand cream. If this product works for me then it truly is a product for sensitive skin.

As an older female my skin is becoming very dry with patches of redness. The cold weather does not help and my usual routine cleanse, serum, moisturiser and weekly masks are not helping overcome the problem. I would be excited to try the La Roche serum to see if it makes a difference. As for my hands and being a cleaner by trade they are always dry and Covid has not helped.

I would love to try this, my face has never felt this dry before and I have been trying all different products, but none have made that much of a difference.

Winter is never kind to my hands but this year has been particularly brutal. I’d live to try this product and see if it can help!

These sound amazing my face would benefit from this but my hands are in need of attention at the moment. With all the clean and hand sanitizing being done over loc9kd they have really become dry and cracked and can be quiet painful at times. I am in the need of a good hand cream and this could be the answer. I would love to trial either if these products. They sound amazing.

Being back in the office with a/c and sanitising process all over, my skin and my hands are in need of care. I am very interested in trying La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Mains. I apply hand cream after I wash my hands and after using sanitizer. In regards to my face, I am always looking for a product that will help with ageing.

While my hands have taken a beating from all this sanitising that we have to do right now, it’s my face that is suffering terribly at the moment. I have dry skin that is prone to dehydration. The change of seasons always causes issues and hits my facial skin hard every year without fail, but this year seems to be worse than ever.

This year I have noticed red patches on my cheeks for the first time that seem to be very dry and while not itchy, they are very noticeable and looks irritated. No matter what I slather on my cheeks(and face)nothing seems to be helping right now. I would love to put the serum to the test on my poor red, dehydrated, dry cheeks.

As for the handcream -I use this every night before I go to bed and I have to say it is probably the only thing that deals with my 59 year old alligator dry hands. A little dab goes such a long way, and doesn’t remain sticky on your hands as it soaks right in. I wake up in the morning to super soft, nourished hands. A tube seems to last forever and it’s a staple that I wouldn’t be without.

Have seen adverts on youtube for the serum, it looks really good. As what for what's drier face or hands, for me they are equally dry atm.

Winter combined with extra sanitiser use has made my hands extra dry. I would love to have something to protect and nourish them

13th June, 2020

My face and hands have been dry from the winter cold and wind. I have dry areas on my face especially cheek area which needs more moisturiser than the rest of my face. I’m taking oil internally to try and combat that this year. I stopped using sanitizer as my eczema was being irritated, just washing my hands more regularly and using fatty e cream.

I’m sure everyone’s hands are pretty dry at the moment, the poor things have been washed and sanitised to within an inch of their lives! I’d love to try the serum, I’ve used a few in the past and haven’t found one that does what it says it should!
