It's no wonder the choices in skin care products are seemingly endless, there are so many different types of skin - dry, oily, combination, normal, sensitive. Some people will stay the same skin type for the whole of their lives whist others will under go skin changes due to age, hormones or their enviroment.
Our skin type really depends on 3 factors - water content (affecting comfort and elasticity), oil/lipid content (affecting softness) and sensitivity level. Younger skin is more likely to be affected by these things, notably the oil content. Young skin is more prone to excess oil (particularly the T-zone) which is why we generally have more break outs and blackheads before we hit our mid-twenties.
We're looking for a trial team to put a new cleanser to the test - its not released officially until the New Year, so this trial team will be among the first in NZ to try it! What we can tell you - this is a charcoal cleanser. Exciting!
You name it and I’ve tried it, blackheads are something that really seem to love my skin. I’m a lover of Pore strips but they always leave me wanting more.
