I've spoken about our love of NZ Brands before.  The general consensus seems to be quite simple.  This gorgeous country is home to beautiful, wild landscapes, that produce some of the most powerful and effective ingredients around.

And what our NZ beauty brands do so well is harness these natural ingredients and formulate them into products that work.  And what our fabulous NZ beauty brands don't do is forget where these ingredients come from.

We're launching three trial teams, each featuring two products from wonderful NZ brand, Alpine Silk.

Organic Lanolin

The Organic Lanolin range contains lanolin from NZ Sheep.  Lanolin is readily absorbed into the skin making it look and feel younger and softer.  Lanolin will help improve the suppleness and elasticity associated with healthy youthful skin.  The reviewers of this trial team will be reviewing:

Everyday Moisture Crème Reviving Hand & Nail Crème

Organic Rosehip Oil

Rosehip oil is naturally packed with vitamins, anti-oxidants and essential fatty acids that help promote skin regeneration and improve appearance. It is effective in correcting dark spots, reducing scars and maintaining moisture. Rosehip oil absorbs quickly and is perfect for all skin types including sensitive skin due to its light and non greasy consistency.  The reviewers of this trial team will be reviewing:

Recovery Face Mask Certified Organic Rosehip Oil

Manuka Honey

The manuka plant (Leptospermum Scoparium) is a native New Zealand evergreen tree. In summer it has strongly scented pink and white flowers, which bees love. The Unique Manuka Factor® describes the anti-bacterial properties of the honey. The higher the UMF® rating, the higher the level of antibacterial benefits. When applied to skin, manuka honey locks that moisture in, retaining it for longer periods.

Everyday Moisture Crème    Reviving Hand & Nail Crème

So if you'd like a spot on one of these trial teams why not tell us about your experience with NZ brands?  Are you a total Kiwi-phile or maybe your love affair with NZ beauty is just starting out?  Or have you yet to take any NZ beauty product out on a date yet?

Most importantly - which Alpine Silk range would you most like to review for us? Organic Rosehip, Organic Lanolin or Manuka Honey?

I would definitely go for the Rosehip Oil range because I currently use some products with Rosehip Oil in them so would be great to see how this brand compares.Always love supporting NZ made.

I have enjoyed using anything with Manuka Honey in it. It is so nourishing and also great for healing.

I’m not sold on lanolin products as in the past my eczema has reacted, but I love anything with Rosehip and Manuka honey. Manuka honey is especially good when eczema is threatening due to it being anti bacterial!

I would love to try the Lanolin products especially the hand cream. Thank you

I love to try and support and buy NZ made where ever possible. It's a hard toss up for my between the Rosehip and the Lanolin, but I think I would sway more towards the Lanolin :)

I try and support NZ made when I can, and why wouldn't you when they make amazing products? I mainly use Trilogy and Ethique for my skincare and have for a number of years now.

I'd love to try this range but I am tossing up between Rosehip and Manuka honey as to which appeals most - I'm easy.

I feel like NZ makes the best skincare! There’s something about the products made here that I’ve a little extra love in them. I’m interested in the Rosehip Range - especially on my dry/sensitive skin. Psoriasis scars need some help! Xx

It’s great to see these being New Zealand products, I love to shop locally! I would like to try the lanolin range the most. My main reason for this is my Dad brought some pure lanolin and said it had great benefits for the skin and he was using it. It smelt awful and I was very put off putting it on my skin, I would love to try a product with lanolin that smells great and still has the amazing benefits! It’s been something I’ve wanted to try ever since my dad got his.

As a picture framer by trade, my poor hands feel the brunt of it. I remember my grandmother commenting about how hard my hands were from an early stage in my career, and they've no doubt become any better. They have always been my most neglected part :) Now I'm getting older, I realize I should be looking after them a bit more. The lanolin range sounds great and I'd love to trail it. Thanks!

It is really bad in saying that I don't make a conscious choice to buy and try NZ Products. only upon thinking of it did I even realise! I would love to try the rosehip!

19th July, 2019

I’ve tried lots of kiwi brands, not this one yet, there are so many too, all of the ones I tried had amazing products. :)

18th July, 2019

I haven't tried many kiwi brands before unfortunately, Love the look of this brand! especially the Manuka honey range! would love to give this brand a go - alongside other kiwi brands!.

18th July, 2019

I’m ashamed to say I really don’t use heaps of NZ beauty brands, although I do buy a few. Off the top of my head, these would be Ecoya, Linden Leaves and Karen Murrell.

I’d be super keen to try the Organic Rosehip. My second choice would be the Organic Lanolin. :)

18th July, 2019

Can never go wrong with NZ brands I think a lot of love goes into it! Would be great to try the lanolin and rosehip range. I’d be doing quite a bit if research into the company though to see how organic they really are and their processes.
