Evolu Protective Day Cream SPF15 Review

For my super sensitive skin, this is lovely and nourishing, sinks in easily and makes my skin lovely and smooth. Although its not greasy or oily once applied, if I get sweaty it does sit on the skin & help me sweat, like a lot if moisturisers do. The consistency is think enough to apply a thin later, its creamy white, easy to use tube but its plastic: a reason i may choose something else. I use this regularly and really enjoy it.

Love this! It feels smooth and doesnt float in a greasy slick. It is firming and soothing. Would buy again...

The packaging of Evolu products grows on me and I start to think of ferns and natural NZ with the green and white carton and brown writing and the plastic squeeze tube in the same colours. The cream is quite thick and has a very light floral scent that is not too strong so does not compete with your perfume but is pleasant to apply. I found a little goes a long way and after I have cleansed my skin I apply a thin layer over my face and neck and lightly smooth in.My skin is a lot less dry than it usually feels and much smoother and even toned. I have been using in conjunction with Evolu overnight cream and I am really finding this is a good combination for me as I usually suffer dry rough skin in change of seasons but have not had this problem this year since using Evolu. Although the cost seems high at $55 the benefits seems to out weigh this and as I am finding a little goes a long way so the cost is relative. I also like that Evolu is all natural and NZ made and the ingredients include Kiwifruit oil, wheatgerm oil, green tea extract, rose geranium, camomile ,shea butter and vitamin E which are all ingredients I have heard are good for your skin so I can appreciate this is a top grade product. with the bonus of SP15 it is good to know I have some basic protection from the weather.

I love this moisturiser, I have quite oily skin but found it is not too heavy for my skin, I did not notice any extra breakouts of oiliness when using this moisturiser. In fact, my skin felt so smooth and soft I was really impressed by it. Although it is quite expensive, it lasted a long time and it really works. I love that is has SPF to help protect my skin. It does not have a strong smell to it which is good.

I am really loving this moisturizer. I have dry and sensitive skin and have had a lot of trouble in the past finding a moisturizer which would meet my skin's needs while providing sun protection.

The packaging is appealing and simple, the brand is environmentally friendly and the ingredients include great natural oils. The cream is quite thick but a little goes a long way, not leaving the greasy feel you can get from some SPF products. One of my favourite things: the scent. It smells like sweet roses and leaves my face smelling like turkish delight. Delicious. Admittedly, the scent isn't the highest on the priority list, but it just makes this moisturizer that much more enjoyable.

I've found Evolu's day cream to moisturize and protect my skin throughout the day, it's helped my drier spots stay healthy and doesn't leave me feeling greasy. It is a pricey cream, but for the quality and natural goodness it's something I'll consider getting again.

Even though I have very oily skin, that is not dry or sensitive, I used this lovely day cream and experienced no issues whatsoever. There was no excessive oiliness or greasiness when I used it under make-up, it spread easily, was absorbed quickly, and it hydrates and moisturises well. The only thing that I was unsure of is the smell. The day cream has a really unusual, botanical scent that is very hard to describe and is difficult tell what ingredient it is that I'm actually smelling.

I love the fact that this day cream has an SPF15, although I doubt that I'll be purchasing a full sized tube, due to the cost and the fact that I don't have sensitive or dry skin. I do find it to be quite expensive, even if it is packed with therapeutic ingredients, like NZ Kawakawa to repair and soothe, geranium to calm skin and improve circulation, borage seed oil, kiwifruit seed oil, vitamin E, and patchouli and lemon oils for their soothing anti-inflammatory properties.

I got this in the Beautiful Christmas box & love it! It is light, you only need a small amount, and it absorbs quickly and easily. One of the things this product does for me, which I quite like, and puts it above other facial moisturisers with an SPF 15 (there are a lot) is afterwards I can feel my face tighten. I'm at that point in my life where I think this is going to mean reducing wrinkles, so I am all for that! I think this is a great moisuriser to wear under other SPF products, I would be hesitant to use on it's own, as I don't believe 15 is high enough for our climate.

I'm not sure I would repurchase (I'd like to) as the price is quite high. Although... if it lasts as long as it seems to be....

I revieved a 30ml sample size of this moisturiser, which i've been using every day for about 3 weeks.

This is quite a thick moisturiser and it doesn't seem to go far, I feel that I need to use quite a lot to get a good even coverage. The moisturiser that I was using prior to this one was a 50ml bottle which lasted for over 6 months with everyday use, and this 30ml tube is on it's last legs after approximately 3 weeks.

The way that this moisturiser applies is a bit like sunscreen. It's quite slow absorbing and feels a little tight and tacky on my face. It seems hydrating enough and absolutely fine worn under makeup. The scent is quite natural, it smells like herbal tea to me, Chamomile in particuar, which the product contains.

I don't mind this moisturiser, I feel that it's quite good for my skin, but I probably wouldn't purchase because it didn't present anything particuarly special to me, the SPF isn't as high as i'd like (15), and the price is getting up there.
