Pretty in pink!

Oh my god when I opened the package for this review and saw the bright pink bottles I was so excited, it looks so much better than the plain white ones usually sitting beside the sink in my bathroom. The moisturiser itself was the perfect texture for me and it spread well. I havent tried it for long enough yet to see any improvement to my skin but it does feel more moisturised. Only complaint is I wasn't keen on the smell, it wasn't overpowering but I don't like putting scented anything on my face before bed.

Tips: Put the bottle somewhere on display as it is such a great shot of colour.

I quite liked the scent, but I agree, I wouldn't use it at night.

Light as a feather

I was given this as a gift from Chikoboo. At the time I was running low on Moisturiser. I can't say I've ever used Za skin creams before. It was nice to give this one a try. My skin is very dry especially in Winter with acne coming and going. I first became aware of Za through beauty review. I think out of the products Ive tried so far , theres highs and lows between products.

On first glance this bottle is tall slender with Gold Za writting. This bottle is a bright shade of pink its eye catching amongst my other skincare products. The lid on this screws off easily and seals perfectly. The consistency is light and thin. This is the thinest moisturiser Ive used to date. It has a mild floral scent to it. Very faint scent.

After cleansing my skin and toning I put this moisturiser on. Within two minutes its absorbed into my skin. Its the fastest Ive ever had. After using it my skin was hydrated in most areas except for my nose. My nose is my driest part on my face. I noticed that I didn't have any skin irritations with it.

I think it is priced within a fair price range. I wouldn't reccomend it for people with dry skin like me. I think it would be suited to someone with Normal skin.

Oh I'm still trying to finish moisturiser. I agree it's very runny.

I found the same thing - very runny.

I'm sorry...not for me

I bought two shades of this at Wgtn airport on a whim, and haven't used either since. While the display, packaging and presentation were superb, the lipstick was too waxy for me, and I found the colours looked so much more faded in the broad daylight than they had under the synthetic lights in the shop. A shame, because I really did want to support this brand, as their ethos is lovely. I hope these lipsticks work better for others than they did for me.

Agreed! I like the packaging but the formula is a flop.

50/50

50% of me loved this. 50% of me felt like I had wasted my money. I'll keep this review short and sweet...much like the staying power of the lipstick.

I loved the colour (Laughter) it was beautiful and so smooth. However, the lipstick has some of the worst staying power i've ever seen and I was re-applying it every 10-15 minutes, not to mention despite how waxy it felt, it dried my lips out something crazy.

Love the colour but unfortunately the formula is terrible.

Yes to waxy. Maybe as it's a natural lipstick?

So wanted to love this...

I am a huge advocate of LN, love their products. I purchased 'Bloom' a lovely antique rose colour as a special $40 and it included a free lip hydrator. I find the staying power of this is virtually 0, the texture is waxy and really doesnt look nice on my lips :-( I'm so sad as this was a huge purchase for me and I have had other lipsticks from them before that have been lovely. The packaging is great and the lip hydrator that came with it is good to keep in my handbag. but I'm so sorry, the lipstick just doesnt do it for me.

Tips: Try using a lip pencil all over first then apply two coats and some balm over top to increase wear time.

Yes I found them waxy too! It was such an odd texture.

Living nature lipstick

The lipstick bullet is unique as is the canister it comes in the idea of an all natural New Zealand made product is appealing as far as I know though there are only three or four shades which is a bit of a let down but there is one to suit most people and you can build up the intensity we sell this at work and many ladies look and do not like what they see with the bullet in the packaging but are pleasantly surprised and like when I have applied it on them and shown them they different looks they can get by building up the layers at around $40 its not cheap but this product does not seem to feather which is a bonus - no need for a pencil lip liner.

I find $40 quite expensive too.

Pretty foolproof

I have skittish eyes after a childhood of eye drops, so applying mascara tends to be hazardous. This isn't too bad, though! I can remove any clumps pretty easily with a couple of strokes, and it dries quickly.

Unfortunately, this isn't remotely tear-proof. If I'm going to a sad movie I can't even think about wearing it - and it's currently my only mascara. Next time I'll try to find something more waterproof.

There is a waterproof formulation of this mascara, FYI.

Clinique High Impact Mascara

I also received this in a gwp when I purchased some Clinique products. I was excited to try this as I had been using an eye lash serum and they were looking good, and I thought they would look even better with a great mascara.

I was so dissapointed with this. I didnt get any more volume or length and the colour didnt have much of an impact either. It seemed to dry out during the day and started falling off my lashes. I am happy I didnt "pay"for this mascara.

I find mine dries out quickly too which is disappointing.

Creamy yes, matte no

I probably should have tested them before i brought them, the shad i brought was first class, lovely, very pigmented, very creamy, but not matte. I felt a little mislead by the description because its more like a very pigmented lipgloss, there is nothing lipstick about this, there is nothing Matte about this, so i wouldnt use it again or re-purchase it again i wouldnt recommend it to a friend as a matte liquid lipstick but if they asked my opinion i would say its a very highly pigmented, creamy long lasting lipgloss. Its actually very similar to NYX Butter glossw. I gave mine away to my friend she enjoyed it more than i did.

Was this review useful to you? Yes No

I agree - they are like very pigmented glosses but thicker!

So disappointed

I LOOOOOVE the colours! But how can they be creamy matte? They just bleed all over my face, messy and sticky. I got two and used one once and that was it! So sad :(

Tips: Don't expect matte!

Was this review useful to you? Yes No

I wasn't expecting a full on matte but I don't find it to be matte at all. It's more like a lipstick.
