Hi ladies!
I have long hair thats light brown and was wondering if there are any ladies with similar hair colours that know of any good, not too expensive places to get balayage AND Olaplex done?? im searching everywhere for the right place but its so daunting getting your hair coloured at a new place for the first time so i would love some feedback and reviews for different places you all have been (In Auckland) :)
Thanks!!

Hi Antonia, unfortunately I don't live in the Auckland area so can't offer you any personal advice, however if you look under the reviews section, there is a salon review option (it is highlighted pink in the right hand side of the drop down menu.   From there you can select hair services and type in your location to narrow down the search for reviews on salons in your area.  At this moment there isn't a keyword feature which would be handy so you could type in Olaplex for example, that might be an idea for future BR improvement reviews that happen every so often.

Hope you find a good salon, these services are expensive there is no avoiding that however as I think the price range is pretty level across the salons, but there might be a marginally difference somewhere.

disclaimer - i haven't used this option myself, but last time i got my hair cut the girl (who was a grad) let me know that you can get your hair done at the hairdressing school ( Cut Above in the city) for cheap, and although it's trainees they're closely supervised and things are checked. That might be an option if price is an issue? I got my balayage done in Dunedin, so I'm not much help otherwise!

Hi Antonia, I can't speak on the Olaplex however French Revolver, Style Counsel and Vivo Hair salons do balayage.  The price for long locks is generally $250 upwards but I know that Vivo Hair does balayage deals from time to time.  Regardless of which salon you go to, I'd be sure to ask about which balayage technique they do because it varies with each hair dresser just incase you're after a particular look. Hopefully you post a pic on the BR Photowall of your new do :-)
