I was wondering what you ladies do to fill in your days?  I work in a pharmacy which keeps me busy, I have been there just over 2 years and it is the 4th pharmacy I have worked in.

Year around, Mondays to Fridays, I'm a Business Advisory Accountant which is a flash way of saying I do accounts and taxes.

In summer, on Saturdays & Sundays, I have a Sports Photography business, which I'm near the top of my field in. Total humble brag lol

I'm an industry expert at an online education company. Basically my job entails managing about 250-275 departments, mostly in NZ and Australia but with a few in other countries. I run training sessions, present at conferences, and facilitate effective usage for the teachers and students. Plus I'm on the team that coordinate and run global competitions for anywhere up to 300,000 ish students.

I am studying full time and working full time in a small country holistic based early childhood centre. I am studying towards my Bachelor of Education (Early Chilhood Education). Loving each and every moment.. although studying and working and being a Mum is sometimes tricky to juggle.

I'm at home not doing anything. All my plans to study turned to custard after getting rejected my student loan. I've been trying lower grade courses and have been denied because I'm too qualified. All doors have been shutting lol Meanwhile I'm trying to figure out ways around it.

Ooooh great thread, it's always nice to learn more about your fellow BR Members.

I work for a Logging Truck Company (please no hate, not all logging truck companies are as bad as the news and newspapers portray us to be) as Branch Administrator/Health and Safety.  Prior to that I was studying Business and Accounting and graduated with my Diploma and then my Degree in Business (accounting major).

I'm not sure where the job I am in is going to take me as this is my first job back after having the munchkins and studying.  But I am enjoying it (most days lol) but can be super trying as I have to deal with 50+ grown men that sometimes feels like I am dealing with 50 kindergarten kids ha ha ha. Being the only female can have its downside but also have its upsides as they all call me Camp Mother, Aunty Sarah, or Mum ba ha ha.  Makes me feel old as I'm only 34 lol.

I also run a Scentsy business part-time which has also enabled me to meet some amazing people who I now call really good friends (you lovelies know who you are mwah xx).

ummm Macs I'm pretty sure you're not at home doing nothing! I don't work but I have hardly any time to myself chasing after the kids and keeping on top of the washing and feeding these starving munchkins (mind you these munchkins are getting way taller than me!).

I forgot about my job as a mum . Thank you for reminding me. Funny my son was saying I don't want you to go to work or study you won't have any time for me. Tried reassuring him I'll make time.

Great reading about y'all! I'm a legal secretary at a small family law firm, though I'm looking for work elsewhere applying my knowledge from my BSc and Hons in psychology.

I would be really interested in what you're researching KiwiLass - my research was about PTSD and coping behaviour.

And Mumof3 I don't think there is anything you should be worried about (maybe I'm naive?), but I think your role as H&S is definitely an important one!!

I'm a full time single mum of 5, 3 my own birth children and 2 are whangai, each from either of my brothers.
I work two days per week in two different schools. One school is a primary where I am in 9 classes on that one day helping as a kaiawhina Reo teaching basic te Reo Maori. The teacher is present also & they observe & help where necessary manage any behavior issues. I rotate my classes each term so that I get thru the entire school with an approximate roll of 540 pupils. At present I'm in year 6, yr5,yr & yr 2 classes/aget groups. Then the other day I'm at Intermediate doing the same thing but only five, one hour classes, again rotating each term I don't quite get thru the entire school as their roll exceeds 1000 pupils. This term my entire day is with year 8 age groups. Term one in primary Id taught three classrooms at once of year 1 new entrants an excess of 50 pupils & also at Intermediate taught the entire year 7( two sittings of 250 pupils) 3 wait a (songs). I enjoy the work I'm doing at current and couldn't manage right now doing anymore days as I need to ensure I can balance home life with work, I'm pretty blessed to have this work within school hours & was definitely a job handed down to me. In future I will take on more kura (schools), as there is a demand. With no whangau (family) around for support right now is too much. However I am picking up one day by the end of the year with an alternative learning school.

I am a qualified beauty therapist (of 16 years) and ran a small home based business for some of those years. I also was a manager in St John Youth for just under 6 years but resigned when I commenced a bicultural degree in social work. I qualified in 2016 and have been working in adult mental health since. BR is my guilty pleasure from the hardships of the 'real' world!

Payroll Manager here..... used to contract so have worked for many many different companies but decided I needed more stability so have been with the current place for almost five years now.

The good thing about contract work is that you get to meet lots and lots of lovely people, sadly you get to meet the ratbags as well, but the good definately outweighs the bad!!

I love how this shows - as usual - that those of us who love beauty products and care aren't the stereotypical "shallow", "ditzy" (insert other dumb stereotypes here) ladies at all. You can love beauty and have a brain!

We are such an interesting bunch!
I'm a stay-home mum, just started working one half-day a week in a retail store, and I run a little business of my own handmade stuff which is just starting to take off and I'm pretty proud of it.
Basically my whole life is about creating in any form I can, be it through makeup, visual art...the latest thing I'm trying my hand at is chocolate making actually!
