My foundation/concealer coverage always reduces in summer as being able to wear fake tan colour on my face helps even out my skin tone easier.
I was thinking about something along these lines the other day though! There's always this huge push towards wearing more dewy, glowy makeup once summer hits and I don't understand why lol I would've thought most people need MORE oil control in the warmer weather, aka needing to set your makeup using powders. Well, I do at least. Much confuse.

I've swapped my night cream for an oil-control overnight gel and I've stared using a mattifying / oil control primer (I can get away with a 'normal' primer under my foundation in winter). Other than that, there's not much that I change in summer wrt my make-up & skincare.

Make up wise nothing really changes as I wear whatever look I want year round. Skincare wise I use more clay/mud masks stuff like that as my skin gets more oily. During winter I do more peels and use heavier hydrating skincare like the thicker facial oils and any thicker moisturizers I have I use them during winter. Oh and I paint my toenails in summer because it's finally warm enough for me to take my socks off that I wear most of the year.
