So ladies does anyone have any advice for taking photos of your make up?
Im just using my phone but I find some look good and others are well just crap, I normally try to take them in the same place in the hope they will look the same

I used to use beauty mode on my Samsung phone but since I switched to iPhone I downloaded an app called BeautyPlus which is okay in the right light :)
thanks I might have to have a look at that one :)

Lighting is really important. Using your phone is fine, just make sure you are in a well-lit area. Bad lighting can make great makeup look terrible. I prefer to take photos in natural light. You can always use an app like Instagram, and then apply a filter to improve the lighting and contrast of the image. Instagram lets you share to facebook and Flickr. You can always download your image from there and then upload it to Beauty Review.

I agree with whats been said. I use natural light hoping  to catch The right picture. I like to try filters. SometimesI don't. With winter here Im having trouble getting the right lighting.

My house is the worst to try and get a photo of my makeup :( It's quite an old house and quite sheltered so we don't get alot of natrual light in the house. My best tip would be as the ladies have suggested above. Natural lighting. I step outside and take most of mine, or if I have a bit of sunlight in my bedroom I can capture a photo in there :)

I'm terrible with photos but backgrounds help too. Make sure it looks clean and there isn't anything off putting in there to distract from the makeup!

I agree with everyone else. Natural light is great, and avoid anywhere with shadows. Good luck!

I just point the camera towards me and spin around slowly to see which side takes better picture. Worked so far!
