Hey ladies,
Just thought I'd tell you about how we're going to be handling discontinued products on BR.
So as we know, brand reformulate and repackage every now and then and we need to amend our listings accordingly.
Now if it's the exact same product in a different package, we're generally pretty comfortable just swapping out the picture. (Unless the new packaging is integral to the product's performance somehow).
But when a product has been reformulated we need to create an entirely new listing, which posed the issue of 'what do we do with the old listing and reviews?' We didn't want to just pull down great reviews, and of course, it takes a while for old stock to clear and things seem to turn up at sales and clearance outlets, so the listings could still be relevant.
And so, we've decided to pop 'Discontinued' in the listing title and where possible, link to the new product listing within the description. A great way to get familiar with this process is to check out the Marzena listings.

You'll be busy with Trilogy updates later in the year then. They have reformulated their Age-Proof range but won't share details until October!
That's a great way of handling the discontinued products though. It is always interesting to find out how products have changed and become more effective and reading new reviews on a new product will be interesting. :)
