Swisspers Naturals Aloe Everything Balm

When I first got this tub in a beauty subscription box, I wasn't sure what to do with it and now it's living up to it's name ... I do Aloe everything with it.

I find this balm works really well as a dry skin "fixer upper" and use it on my feet regularly to get rid of dry, cracked heels. If I'm lucky, I get hubby to give me a foot rub with this balm and then pop some cotton socks on so that the rest of the balm can be absorbed while I'm watching TV.

We're busy doing a huge garden clean up and I recently discovered that I'm allergic to the sap in agapanthus plants. I get a bad contact dermatitis rash from them that is really itchy, red and inflamed and lasts for days. After trying numerous products with no relief, I rubbed a little of this balm in and the itch was instantly soothed and the next morning the redness had halved and the welts or hives had begun subsiding!

It's fabulous stuff and works well on all sorts of ailments. I still need to try it on mosquito bites to see if it helps with the itching.

Secretly I even use it to polish my shoes when I'm out & about for some quick shine...But Ssshhh don't tell!!!

It's not sticky or greasy even though initially it looks as though it maybe it absorbs perfectly & leaves a light refreshing aloe scent...

I'm not really sure where I got this product from, I've had it a long time. Way too long actually, I think I need to throw mine out. I haven't used much either, so from that and the title, I think you can probably sum up my feelings on this one!

This comes in a little screw top container, it's easy to open and also won't come undone easily. The labelling looks nice, it's simple with a small aloe plant on it too. It has a lot of things listed that you can do with this product and really markets itself as having a use for pretty much anything.

Now, when you say a product is an everything balm, it's really intriguing to me. Just on the label this has listed that it can treat dry skin, condition lips, hydrate skin, sculpt eyebrows, maintain healthy nails and soothe sunburn. That really is a lot of things for one product. So what does this product look like? Basically a thick, fresher smelling version of Vaseline! It does smell really good, and it's also a light green colour. It's very sticky and very greasy. I'm sure this has better ingredients than Vaseline but I'm not sure what they are as it doesn't say on this packaging.

Now in theory, I should love a do it all product but it just doesn't draw me into using it. I've tried it a few times on my lips (ok, nothing different to a lip balm), on my skin (again ok but really greasy) and on a rash I had (didn't do anything). For me, this just isn't a life changing product, so it's not something I'll ever want to use again or would recommend unless it's to someone I'd think would really like a do it all grease.

I saw this reviewed on BR and decided to give it a try. It comes in a generous sized 50 ml pot, easy to open and close. Free of parabens and sulphates and no animal testing, which is a plus for me. The texture is similar to Vaseline petroleum jelly, sticky and waxy with a slight green tinge. The smell is not unpleasant, slightly unusual, must be the aloe vera. I used it as a lip balm and for my dry and cracked heels, also on cuticles to soften them. I also use it on my elbows to moisturise. A bit sticky to use as a hand cream, but for all those other areas I mentioned, it is very good, soothing and moisturising.

I like this balm better than the Ultra Balm I bought from Lush but I don't believe Swisspers Everything Balm is completely natural as it has a very strong perfumed scent.

I love the fact that it is a multi-purpose product and it's cool that you can use it on many different areas of the body.

I love to use it on my cuticles and feet but I do find it makes my face and lips extremely itchy therefore I keep it off those areas.

You need to use it sparingly as it is quite a greasy product but it's cool to carry it around in your handbag in case of emergencies. I've been told it works well on bug bites so it could be a good product to take camping.

When my allergies flare up the usual victims are my hands, legs and feet. It gets itchy and red and it doesn't help that I constantly scratch it so it gets really raw. I tried this product because aloe vera is really good for soothing irritated skin. I like the consistency of the balm it glides easily and never feels heavy on the skin even during warm months. It hydrates my dry hands and feet while soothing the irritation. The packaging is so handy that I can bring it anywhere I go.

I received this in a goodiebox a while ago, but I still love this balm, it is really good for everything, I used it on my hands and face at nights when I decided I needed more than my usual nightcream (like once a week). It heals scars so fast, hydrates beautifully and the scent is very nice too. One thing I'm not a huge fan of is the stickiness and I can't pet my cat while wearing it instead of a handcream, so I stopped using it because of this issue. I still use it to soothe mosquito bites sometimes and after trying it my partner decided it's his from now on as he absolutely goes crazy after sandfly/mosquito/bug bites, but this helps him a lot and much faster than other creams. It is a huge size for a balm, so it's really worth the money as it's pretty cheap too. It lasts ages as well.

A friend of mine received this in her goodie box and decided to give me it because she didn't like the look of it. Me on the other hand.. I absolutely love this product. So versatile, user friendly and perfect for everything. I personally use on my face, lips and dry skin on my body. It does everything it says and so much more! I couldn't live without it

I found this product very hard to get out when I first opened it, once I got through the top, the balm became easier to get out and felt soothing. I suffer from dry hands and found it to be a great relief as a barrier cream under hand cream on my hands. Its also great for bites! The bugs love me and this kept the itch away
