Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater Review

This product was something I had seen online, and heard about.. but I had never considered buying it untill I received it as part of a GWP, and i kind of fell in love.

I got a 80ml bottle, which is a sligtly frosted plastic bottle, with a see though cap, and a white plastic spray nozzle. The bottle has a simple white label. Nothing impressive, the packaging is very basic and simple.

The facial spray is a brown with a slight pinky tone to it, and is the consistency of water and of course it has a rose scent. I have to admit, I am not a fan of rose scented products because i feel like most products can only produce a really fake rose smell which just smells sickly to me, but this product has nailed it to a T. The smell of rose is definitely there, but its not fake or over powering. It just smells lovely.

The cheap looking nozzle is really efficient and sprays the water really finely, like a mist which I really like as well.

The reason i love this spray is because it makes my skin feel so good. I took it travelling with me, and it gave my skin a hydrating spritz when i needed it. Plus when my face gets hot or flustered, its a quite way to cool my skin down, and to feel refreshed.

I'm not sure how much this actually costs, but I don't care because i would repurchase this in a heartbeat. I have been using this a couple times a day for the last month, and the bottle still looks full! I am very impressed.

A great price at $18 for the large bottle. The packaging is so simple, and pretty! The shade of pink of the spray is perfect rosy pink....

The first day I used it was at bedtime. I put on my night moisturiser and spritzed my face. Oh my word the smell is glorious - so beautiful, floral and restful. On my skin the light mist felt a little damp and tacky, but very nourishing. I had a great nights sleep! I woke up the next morning with a healthy glow to my skin, and to touch it was so soft and plump! I was impressed.

In the morning I applied this over toner, and before my serum. My BB cream went on like a dream over top of the facial spray and I liked the healthy look happening with my skin! When I'd finished putting on makeup I lightly spritzed again, and I was ready to go.

I love that my skin looked great all day. I don't have dry skin at the end of the day. My BB cream is still hanging in there too! I felt like I had a nice natural look happening. I spritzed when I got home after lunch, and didn't touch up my makeup - I felt that confident with how my skin was looking, thanks to this spray.

I have since gone and bought the smaller bottle for the handbag/office and one for my mum. I'm truly hooked and obsessed with this product. Amazing. Cruelty Free Beauty, and no nasties as well - it's a win-win product for me!

I have been using this Mario Badescu facial spray for around 3 years now, I have repurchased it 4 times already and can't imagine not using this gem and I hope they never stop making it.

I have dry skin and I use it everyday either before bed or in the morning to hydrate my skin after I shower to add some moisture. It's really refreshing and makes my skin look fresh and dewy and has a nice soft rosy scent that isn't over powering.

I also use this on my hair sometimes if it feels it needs extra moisture and I've heard of some people using it as a setting spray. I personally prefer not to use it this way because the mist isn't fine enough for my preference.

I highly recommend this during winter time because it's a great pick me up for dry/dull winter skin, it's also great as a refreshing spritz in the summer. I recommend it to anyone in general because of how versatile it is.

I cannot praise this product enough!!! I use this everyday and it is the best thing I have ever done. It is a reasonably affordable product, costing only $18 at Mecca, which I really like. It also makes my skin feel so so smooth after applying it, which is a great base for foundation and other make up product. I Spray the product all over my face after washing it to tone my skin before moisturizing. Ever since I have started using this product, my skin has become way more glowy and healthy looking. This product reallly brings out a nice natural glow from your skin. I use this as a primer before make up, and a setting spray afterwards. It makes my skin look so so smooth and leaves me with a flawless finish, which I have never ever gotten before using this product. It also soaks in really quickly so you don't spend ages waiting for it to soak in before starting your make up. This product smells so good and it does not affect sensitive skin as well, adding to the other great attributes I would 100% recommend this to anyone, it has done a truly amazing job for me.

So I brought this on beauty bay after seeing Carli Bybel rave about. It was quite cheap and I brought a few this from the Mario range that came to around $110nz, which I think is great for good quality products. First of all, let me talk about the scent. I love rose scents, but it can't be that sickly gross fake rose smell, it needs to be a nice subtle rose smell, which this product nails. It's so refreshing the smell. I use this product as my make up setting spray and find it helps my make up last all day. I've never really been into setting sprays but I actually love how good this sets my make up for the day. I only ever wear matte foundations and I love how this product gives me a nice light dewy look, while still looking matte (if that makes sense). It is very hydrating and refreshing and is something I am definitely repurchasing, along with my other Mario products that I have purchased. I have typically dry/irritated skin, and this has been the most refreshing non-irritating find. The spritz provides a calming cooling effect, which is especially a treat for red skin that has a tendency to heat up. It's comparable to MAC's Fix+, but I found this steal of a spray to be much more hydrating.

If you have slightly oily skin, this isn't going to be a mattifying makeup setter, but will still be great in your skincare line-up as it isn't going to contribute to your oily skin. An absolutely perfect go-to for those with dry skin who need a dewy top up throughout the day, and a little extra hydration in their beauty routine.

PLUS there is the added bonus that it smells delightfully fresh. Honestly, next time your in Mecca, grab the $10 bottle and give it a go - will not regret.

I really like this spray for its simplicity. It is very easy to apply and at the least very refreshing. The spray can be used as a refresher for dull skin, primer, setting spray or a toner so it is well worth the mere $10. I enjoyed that the spray was quick to use and the scent was not too overpowering. Just the sort of thing you would want to travel with. I have dry skin and it was so nice to try something that actually hydrated!

Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater - such an unassuming product that is absolutely amazing. It's no miracle transformation but it's unsurpassed in terms of refreshing and treating my skin.

I buy the smaller size and store it in the fridge, spraying it on my skin when it's seen too much sun, and my face at night between cleansing and serum.

This smells exactly as described - roses and herbs. It hits and refreshes, smells amazing, and is very affordable.

When I first used this spray, I wasn't sold. It seemed kind of pointless. My views have since changed though. I found a specific use for it, and now we're friends.

When I get out of the shower and dry my face, it feels quite dry and dehydrated. I spritz this on and let it dry, and it feels so much more refreshed and soft.

Afterwards I apply a light layer of moisturiser on my face (shout out to Mario Badescu Hyaluronic Day Cream!) which absorbs while I dry my hair.

This spray is so refreshing and smells amazing I go through bottles of this like crazy as I use it even without makeup on to refresh my face its beautiful and feels so good on my skin! Love love LOVE this product
