Smells so good!

I have been using this once a week for about the last month and a half. This is such a nice scrub and I've been loving using it.

It's a thick paste that's easy to apply and rub into the skin. It feels very gentle on my skin, but I still feel like it exfoliates well. After using this my skin and lips feel so smooth and my pores look a lot smaller. It doesn't dry out my skin and leaves it feeling fresh and clean and soft. I love the smell of this product, it smells sugary but fresh and feels really nice when applying and washes off easily.

I think $20 is a fair price and am going to try the other scrubs from L'Oreal when mines almost gone!

Kiwifruit Scrub, Kiwi Gal, Purified Kiwi Skin

I purchased this scrub quite a few months ago when it was on special at the supermarket and alas, it ended up being an absolute special for my skin. It's a light scrub, very cooling and not overly scratchy (as some can be) and it leaves your skin feeling super soft - and it also smells delicious. As I have quite sensitive skin I find it quite hard to find scrubs that smell good, do what they need to do and are relatively cost-effective but more importantly, ones that don't ruin my skin. BUT, this one ticks all the boxes. The product itself is kind of like a paste and it moves around the skin gently and can feel a little oily! Another massive perk to this product is that it's in most supermarkets and is typically always on sale somewhere. And when you go and purchase this, I would recommend grabbing a nice moisturiser (if you don't already have one - I try and use oil-free ones as they are more inclined to help prevent blackheads) to use afterwards to retain all the goodness and to stop your skin from drying out x

Tips: Use it once or twice a week at most - as this jar doesn't have a whole lot of product I would say to use it wisely but be generous when you do. This scrub is also perfect to use as a lip scrub that way you're in for a right treat - a full face exfoliation! Would definitely suggest being super conscious of your precious eye area and to focus on your T zone, jawline (even your neck) and any other problematic areas and remember to moisturise!

Sweet Kiwi Scrub

In the last Beauty Vault I was over the moon that I had managed to get myself this scrub . I like to do this scrub at least once a week . My skin type is aging with uneven skin tone and acne coming and going . Dry patches around my nose . Was interested in how this would work on my skin .

Packaging is clear can see this bright green scrub through this glass . Consistency is like a sugary paste that smells like sweet kiwi with a fresh twist of lemon and underlying peppermint.

For several weeks I’ve used this on my face . I notice that my skin doesn’t react to it . Manage to exfoliate dead skin around my nose . After use my skin feels soft and refreshed .

After using this for a period of time I think the price range is fair . Can last a while if used once a week . Would be less if used more frequently. I was happy with my results. I’d like to try more scrubs from this brand .

L'Oréal Paris Sugar Scrubs Purifying Face Scrub

I love scrubs, be facial or body scrubs, I love them. I am a fan of most L'Oreal Paris products I have tried so when this range was released I had to give it a go. This comes in a good solid glass jar with a screw lid.

I use this in the shower, I wet my face and scoop out some scrub out. Gently, I massage the scrub into my face avoiding my eye area. I rinse off and my face feels refreshed and is soft to the touch. It is a mixture of 3 sugars, brown, blonde and white. It also contains kiwi fruit seeds, such a great combo. The scent is fresh, there is peppermint oil and lemongrass essential oils in it. It actually dosent taste too bad either, as I accidently got some in my mouth.

I use this twice a week.

Tips: Make sure you dont scrub around your eye area, your skin is very sensitive there.

What a winner!

I have absolutely been loving this (and the one with the yellow lid too!). The smell of it is sooo nice, almost good enough to eat (yes, I have licked my lips after having it on before haha). I usually use this in the shower and I love how it literally just melts in to my skin and afterwards it's left feeling sooo silky smooth! I use this (or the other one I have) usually once or twice a week (although I wish I had the need to use it more because it is so amazing haha).

Best Sugar Scrub

Loving this! I tried a sugar scrub before and was left feeling average so I was a bit hesitant to give this a go. But I found it at a bargain price at the supermarket this week and I couldn't resist. Smells good enough to eat and afterwards my skin is left feeling super soft!

Tips: Definately have to use it on dry skin to get the full exfoliating effect :)

Great for blackheads, but did dry out my skin

I bought this scrub about a month ago after getting sick of the ever increasing number of blackheads on my nose. I had tried everything - masks, exfoliating, pore strips - but they weren't really abating. So I saw this on the shelf and decided to give it a try. I was really happy with the product when I first opened it. It smells lovely and has a nice gritty texture (you can really feel the sugar!). It comes in a little pot that you just scoop some of the product out of to apply to your face. For the first week or so, I used it on my whole face. I was so please to see a reduction in the blackheads on my nose, however, I also found that my skin was getting quite dry and dull. So I started just using the scrub on my nose (and bought another variety for the rest of my face - the cocoa butter one). I have continued to see a really great reduction in my blackheads. They don't bother me nearly so much any more so I'm really really happy with this product. I will definitely buy it again!

Tips: If you find this product drying, use it on your blackhead prone areas and try the cocoa butter variety for the rest of your face.

L'oreal Paris Sugar Scrub

I had a hormonal breakout recently, which is unusual for me now. I had been using another type of scrub and decided to purchase this one to have for the problem area on my chin. I really like the weight of these products, the glass jar and brown lid appeal to me. The product itself looked like mashed aloe Vera and has a sticky, grainy quality when applied. I have used it a couple of times nows and can feel an improvement in the texture of my skin. It's quite a gentle scrub and easily washes off. It leaves my skin feeling quite soft and ready to apply serums etc afterwards.

Tips: Use tepid water to prep your skin first and apply in gentle circular movements, avoiding the delicate eye area

Kiwi

I have used it twice but it made my skin dry and itchy. It did make it cleaner though and I could see the difference however after some time the skin became dry. You will have to use a nice moisturiser to balance it with dryness. It have a very nice smell which makes you use forever but for my individual result I did not get what it said would do. I will not recommend this to someone who already has dry skin based on my experience but I can say it will work better on those with oily skin.

Tips: Use a good moisturiser after scrubbing it.

Smells good enough to eat

I really loved this product starting with the smell which was totally edible smelling! The scrub is quite thick and felt really good on my skin, it spread really easily and was good to work into my skin. My only concern was that it felt like it could probably do with a higher sugar quantity to exfoliate my skin. I did feel like I'd probably need to use it a second time when I used it. My skin felt lovely and soft post use, but there were still areas that were a bit rougher and dry. A second scrub did seem to deal to these patches, but I'd prefer to be able to just use the scrub once incase it lead to skin sensitivity or overdrying.

Tips: Don't be afraid to use more than you think to enough exfoliant.
