Super-fruity

NZ Made Product 100% natural Feels amazing on my lips and gives them a slight rosy tint, which is great for days when lipstick on required. Definitely made my lips feel soft and well protected from the wind with a fruity smell. Love the wee metal pottle it comes in.

Pretty Average

I couldn't wait to try this lip rescue once I saw it -it comes in really cute packaging, a fruity designed pack and a cute brass tin inside, containing the product.

On opening the tin, the product looks lovely. Just pink and waxy. It has a nice subtle fruity smell. I was disappointed that it didn't really taste fruity though. It doesn't taste of anything at all.

The product is quite waxy though. It applies to my lips feeling quite thick and only absorbs slowly. Having said that though, it is hydrating, which is what you want in a lip rescue.

It claims it will rescue dry, cracked lips and it has improved my lips already.

$12.99 is an ok price for a good lip product and it is quite good, so that's fair.

Overall it's up there with most other lip products, but I just would've liked a strong fruity taste.

Tips: Keep applying when in dry rooms through the winter.

Packaging is really lovely, a good sized gold tin with embossing. Smells OK, not super fruity, more beeswax. No flavour.

Great that this is 100% natural considering how much lip gloss we end up ingesting. Unfortunately its didn't blow me away in terms of moisturising. Didn't last very long and my lips were almost dryer afterwards! Did not provide much of a gloss effect. Good as a barrier to wind and air con.

Bees Brilliance

The main smell was bee's wax. Not much of a fruity smell at all (considering they label it "super-fruity", and I didn't think it really moisturised the lips like other balms I have tried. I have a waterproofing product for leather goods, and it reminded me of that, not great for something you want to put on your lips.
