This skincare range designed specifically for those who have sensitive skin. I have dry/sensitive skin and I was really excited to try this range.
All the products of this sensitive range come in a vibrant green & white packaging. The Day Moisturiser also comes in a squeeze plastic tube.
The moisturiser has a thin creamy texture. I had a huge expectation in this product in term of the smell, I was hoping it would smell delicious like coconut as it contains coconut oil. The smell of coconut is almost unnoticeable. However, the smell of this moisturiser is still light, clean and very pleasant.
The moisturiser feels refreshing, light and not greasy on my skin. It moisturises my dry/sensitive skin without clogging pores or causing my face to break out. I have been using along with rest of the products of this range and I am really happy with the results so far. My face is hydrated, soft, looking healthy, and dry patches disappeared.
I love that this moisturiser is effective and gentle. I have never experienced any redness/irritation with this moisturiser. The product is cruelty free and organic. It does not contain parabens, sulphates or any alcohol. I think the product is reasonably priced as it is a natural product and it works.
A little bit goes a long way, I only needs a small amount to cover my entire face making it so worth the money. I definitely recommend this product line for people who have sensitive skin.
Overall, it is such a fantastic moisturiser. I would really prefer it with SPF though.
I received some of this when I got Living Nature Sensitive Cleanser and Toner. I personally am a fan of natural and organic skincare so I really am happy when I get the opportunity to try more organic skincare. This moisturizer is light like the Living Nature line is but just takes a tad longer to soak than the Nourishing Day Cream but not by much longer. I've used this moisturizer when I had hayfever and around my nose and cheeks were all red and other moisturizers even those labeled for sensitive skin would sting, this didn't and it was really soothing and non-irritating. The little bit I had lasted me for about a week and a half, so a 50ml tube would've lasted me for months. The ingredients are water, Cocos virgin coconut oil, jojoba esters, avocado oil, vegetable glycerin, cetearyl olivate, sorbitan olivate, NZ flax gel, cetyl palmitate, sorbitan palmitate, glucose, xanthan gum, glucose oxidase and lactoperoxidase. So as you see it's a very simple and natural moisturizer and a lot of the ingredients are certified organic. While $38 at the time of this review might sound like a bit, I think it's absolutely worth it especially if you like organic skincare and really want a moisturizer that absorbs quickly, feels light on your skin and works really well for layering under makeup. Plus you only need a bit, so the tube will last you a really long time.
Tips: It's pricey but if you wait till Living Nature has a good gwp you can get more for your buck. They usually do every once in awhile. This moisturizer doesn't have spf but it's so light it goes on beautifully under an spf moisturizer or sunscreen also great under makeup or primer.
