Living Nature Heaven 4 Sensitive Skin Day Moisture

I received some of this when I got Living Nature Sensitive Cleanser and Toner. I personally am a fan of natural and organic skincare so I really am happy when I get the opportunity to try more organic skincare. This moisturizer is light like the Living Nature line is but just takes a tad longer to soak than the Nourishing Day Cream but not by much longer. I've used this moisturizer when I had hayfever and around my nose and cheeks were all red and other moisturizers even those labeled for sensitive skin would sting, this didn't and it was really soothing and non-irritating. The little bit I had lasted me for about a week and a half, so a 50ml tube would've lasted me for months. The ingredients are water, Cocos virgin coconut oil, jojoba esters, avocado oil, vegetable glycerin, cetearyl olivate, sorbitan olivate, NZ flax gel, cetyl palmitate, sorbitan palmitate, glucose, xanthan gum, glucose oxidase and lactoperoxidase. So as you see it's a very simple and natural moisturizer and a lot of the ingredients are certified organic. While $38 at the time of this review might sound like a bit, I think it's absolutely worth it especially if you like organic skincare and really want a moisturizer that absorbs quickly, feels light on your skin and works really well for layering under makeup. Plus you only need a bit, so the tube will last you a really long time.

Tips: It's pricey but if you wait till Living Nature has a good gwp you can get more for your buck. They usually do every once in awhile. This moisturizer doesn't have spf but it's so light it goes on beautifully under an spf moisturizer or sunscreen also great under makeup or primer.

Fantastic!

This skincare range designed specifically for those who have sensitive skin. I have dry/sensitive skin and I was really excited to try this range.

All the products of this sensitive range come in a vibrant green & white packaging. The Day Moisturiser also comes in a squeeze plastic tube.

The moisturiser has a thin creamy texture. I had a huge expectation in this product in term of the smell, I was hoping it would smell delicious like coconut as it contains coconut oil. The smell of coconut is almost unnoticeable. However, the smell of this moisturiser is still light, clean and very pleasant.

The moisturiser feels refreshing, light and not greasy on my skin. It moisturises my dry/sensitive skin without clogging pores or causing my face to break out. I have been using along with rest of the products of this range and I am really happy with the results so far. My face is hydrated, soft, looking healthy, and dry patches disappeared.

I love that this moisturiser is effective and gentle. I have never experienced any redness/irritation with this moisturiser. The product is cruelty free and organic. It does not contain parabens, sulphates or any alcohol. I think the product is reasonably priced as it is a natural product and it works.

A little bit goes a long way, I only needs a small amount to cover my entire face making it so worth the money. I definitely recommend this product line for people who have sensitive skin.

Overall, it is such a fantastic moisturiser. I would really prefer it with SPF though.

Delightful

I was lucky to win a set of this. To be honest I didn't have high hopes. Not sure why other than I don't actively see.people raving about it.

Just had to edit it ad today was the first say the sun was out. I got "sunkissed" and it made me realise how important spf is in the winter

The moisturiser comes in a box with a tube inside. I like the lid is flip and it sits on the lid to draw product down. The actual moisturiser is quite thin! I was like oh here we go it won't work or last. Well blow me over with a puff of wind! You only need a small amount. I put a 50 cent size on the back of my hand and it's enough to rub all over my face, neck and the backs of my hands. It's not greasy at all. It soaks into your skin and kind of pumps in hydration. It leaves my skin feeling beautiful and soft. I really enjoy using this.

Now the cost I thought seemed high but using it and seeing how little you use its actually not expensive.

Would I buy it again? Heck yes!

Tips: I like using it with their night cream and also rosehip oil if my skin is super dry

Not suitable for ALL sensitive skin

My issue with products like this is that 'sensitive' is often taken as 'dry and needing hydration'. However I have sensitive combination skin, so products aimed at sensitive skin often miss the mark. When I tried the Living Nature Sensitive Skin range it made me break out quite quickly and I needed to back off, trying the products one at a time.

On its own, the day cream is quite rich - so good for dry or mature skin but a little hard to rub in for other skin types. There was no intrusive smell. My one big beef with day creams of this type is the lack of SPF. All day creams in NZ should include sun protection!

So on the whole, I was underwhelmed with this product.

Tips: If you want to try it for yourself, get the sample pack from the Living Nature website.

Sensitive Moisturiser

The sensitive day moisturiser comes in the same pretty, plain, branded packaging as the other products in the range.

Like the cleanser and toner it is a white lotion. I found the product easy to apply and it absorbed reasonably well into my dry skin, It has an almost slightly waxy feel and my skin also felt slightly waxy immediately after using it a feeling it. This evaporated after a few moments, but it felt very nice on my skin. After it had properly absorbed, my skin felt nice and there was a soft clean scent emanating from it.

The product claims to provide effective, nourishing care without irritation, and it certainly does this. My skin continued to feel soft and supple for some time after applying the product. It is certainly a testimony to the beautiful coconut and avocado oils it contains. As with the other products in the range, it is $38.00 for a 100 ml tube, and as you only require a little per use, it is good value.

While I myself generally prefer a heavier and creamier product, I would certainly recommend this lovely product to people with sensitive or dry skin who like to use a lotion.
