Garnier Pure Active 3 In 1 Cleansing Mask Review

This is my number 1 facial product, i have it used it throughout all my teens and even no into my adult hood. It is the only product that kept my acne at bay and still does. The packaging is your standard cleanser bottle with a squeeze nozzle at the end. I use this as a daily wash in the shower, ive used it as a maks a handful of times and even then it was great! This product is super affordable and i continue to purchase for all these great reasons!

Finally a face cleanser that’s gentle on my face, is affordable and is readily available.

Love how it’s three products in one a cleaner a Scrub and a mask, saves buying three different products saving me money. The best part is how effective this product is, my skin feels softer and smoother than ever. I have experienced acne clearing up in the few days I have used this, redness less noticeable and overall my skin seems to have a healthy glow to it. So glad to have trailed this product otherwise I might not have ever found it.

This trial was perfect timing for me. I had just run out of my usual scrub and am always keen to try new products.  I love the Pure Active range, so as soon as this arrived I used it that night in the shower.

It comes in a squeezy tube with a flip top lid. Really easy to dispense the right amount of product with no wastage.  You really only need a small amount as a little definitely goes a long way.  The scent has a bit of a medicinal smell to it, it's not too bad. When applied it has a cooling almost tingling sensation, nothing uncomfortable and you get used to it.

It is a thick clay like consistency. As a scrub it has really fine particles in it, I would say it is definitely a gentle scrub. I do prefer something with a bit more oomph however it leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft. Gentle enough to use every day.

As a wash it does a good job at making my face feel clean and keeping any pimples at bay. It feels a bit weird to me to use this as a wash because of how thick it is. This is my least favourite way to use it.

As a mask I like to apply while in the shower then I let it sit as I go about my routine. I really don't time it, when I am ready to rinse it off I add a bit of water and massage it into my face to get a scrub in there then wash it off. It leaves my skin feeling fantastic! Super smooth and healthy.

I really quite like this product. My skin is definitely clear and I have hardly had any new spots at all. I have been using this daily and it hasn't dried my skin out at all. I do however always follow up with a moisturiser. I think this will be awesome in the summer when my skin gets a bit oily. Overall this is a wonderful product and I would definitely repurchase.

I really loved using this product, I think it is the best one yet that I have tried from the Garnier 3 in 1 range!! I am a regular user of the Garnier Pure Active 3 in 1 Charcoal and found this product to exceed my expectations. I love that the product is a 3 in 1 so I can use it as a wash and scrub in the shower for my morning cleansing routine and a mask a few times a week. The mask dries extremely quickly (in 3 minutes) which I like if you have a busy schedule and need some pampering on the go!! It is also one of the easiest masks I have tried to remove, no more face cloths required! It has a thick, creamy consistency which makes application a breeze. It is easy to apply to the face and neck and requires no applicator. I use approximately the size of a 10 cent piece for a mask and less for a face wash/ scrub meaning that in the long run this product is going to be more cost effective than buying individual masks. I have been using the product every day for the last week and there is plenty of product left. The Garnier Pure Active 3 in 1 charcoal would last me several months and the product is the same size so this is highly worth the price of $12.99! It is definitely worth the money and I am already suggesting it to my friends. The packaging looks fresh and clean which is how I want my face to feel. It is in a tube with a sturdy lid for ease of application. Since using the product I have had no new breakouts, which may be due to the purifying clay, Eucalyptus and salicylic acid and my skin feels smooth and fresh. I have also noticed an improvement in texture, my skin isn't as oily and love the way the product has a tingling sensation when applying it as a mask. Overall I'm in LOVE with this product and it is one I will be adding to my daily skincare routine.

The product is thick, white with small blue beads. It has a nice fresh scent to it, that is cooling and smells like cucumber and eucalyptus. I've tried this all three ways and they are all amazing. The beads gently exfoliate leaving your skin nice and smooth. The mask dries down nicely and is easy to remove. Using this product has not dried out my skin and has not broken me out; I was so impressed by this! It mattified my face and took away oils. Fantastic for combination to oily skin.

I’m adding this to my routine, both as the wash/scrub and the mask. It’s easy, quick and feels amazing. My skin feels really clean and polished, but it doesn’t feel dry. Often you have that tight skin feeling immediately after washing your face, but with this I didn’t.

It really controls oil well. My skin can be quite oily and after using just at night, it was only just getting oily by the next afternoon.

So glad I could try this, and love that it’s an inexpensive product.

I don’t have sensitive skin at all, so I can’t speak on that, but it does tingle slightly as a mask so I’m not sure if it would irritate anyone’s skin.

After previously enjoying Garnier products aimed at oily skin, I found this up there with my favourites.

As a mask this is nice, I like that its wash off rather than peel off - it feels much nicer on the skin.

As an exfoliator its very effective at smoothing skin and removing dry skin cells.

As a face wash it leaves skin refreshed and clean.

This is perfect to use as a targetted t-zone product, or for those with oily skin, all over.

It's a massive product, 150ml for $13 - as I use it mainly on my t-zone it will last a long time.

With the warmer weather I've found my t-zone becoming more oily, with products keeping the oil at bay for a few hours. This product keeps my skin mattified and oil free for around 36-48 hours, so it's really very good!

The only downside is the smell - it smells like synthetic cucumber. But it doesnt linger so I won't hold it against it!

I have been using this product as a face scrub every day. It doesn't dry out my skin but helps to control oils and I haven't had any break -outs! The eucalyptus scent is refreshing and helps to wake me up in the morning! I did try this product as a mask and didn't really like it as much using it as a mask. I prefer to use it as a daily scrub/face wash instead.

I was very impressed with this product! After the first wash my skin felt incredibly clean, with no residue at all left on my skin. My skin is reeeeaalllly oily (especially during the warmer months) but I have to say this product has made a HUGE difference. Normally after a day at uni or work my skin would be an oily mess but not anymore! Also, I have noticed a difference with my spots, they are quickly clearing up. Another bonus is that a little goes a long way with this product, so I suspect it will last a while yet.

I absolutely love this as a scrub, it really does make your skin feel so smooth and soft after using it and you don’t feel like it’s too harsh either. I would definitely only use it twice a week though depending on your skin sensitivity but my skin isn’t as sensitive so it can handle quite a lot. Using it as a mask is a bit odd In my opinion, it just feels like you’re leaving a scrub on and so it never really properly dries up compared to a clay mask and mud mask which is what i prefer to use. The scent is quite nice and not too overwhelming, it feels super cleansing and your skin feels clean afterwards. Can’t say it got rid of my blackheads but it also doesn’t feel like it’s clogging up my skin. Overall I’d repurchase this again as a scrub.
