Dr Lewinns Line Smoothing Complex High Potency Treatment Mask Review

I found these masks really good. They were thick and had heaps of moisture which my skin absorbed easily, leaving my skin looking & feeling so much better. I used as much of the product as possible as it reduced the look of wrinkles at the least plus my skin gained a fresher more glowing look & feel.

I got this mask in a Beauty Box. This probably one of the most expensive sheet masks I've tried. The material is good quality and it's easy to smooth out and get it to stay on your face. The serum was nice and cooling and really plumped out my skin and my fine lines did look a little less noticeable. My skin was nicely hydrated and glowy. The smell was pleasant. It definitely felt like a more luxury sheet mask. Now unfortunately the results weren't there the next day. And at nearly 16 bucks a mask I can't justify repurchasing this as this is nearly the most expensive sheet mask I've tried so taking off a few stars for the high price.

I often use face masks and have foung Dr Lewinns products really good. This mask is like no other is comes in a foil sachet and very clear instructions on the packet which was really good. I cleansed and toned my skin first as advised dried my skin and then applied the mask. It comes in two sections -face from eyes down and forehead. You peel the mask off a backing and press onto your face. Ths was really easy to apply and the gel felt lovely and had a really light pleasent scent. I left on for 30 minutes and then removed and rinsed my face. My skin felt soft and really moisturised and silky which is an awesome feeling.My only thought was I would have liked a pad of gel for my neck as well as being older this is an area of concern and it would have been lovely if this was included however the mask made me feel spoilt and decadent and my skin more youthful. The price is high at $15 but sometimes you need to treat yourself and this would be a good way to do that.

The foil packet has all the instructions printed on the back it contains 1 mask that comes in two parts I found this a bonus as some full masks can be tricky to get to stay on everywhere all at once.

The mask also seems to feel almost like a foam rather than paper like others I had tried. This made it a lot easier to smooth out and apply.

I applied the nose,check,chin section of the mask first then the forehead part.

It was very sticky but once applied felt soothing I didn't really want to take it off it doesn't overly smell so it's not to overpowering which is brilliant when your keeping it on for 15-20minutes

When it came time to remove the mask the mask seperated in a couple of places around my nose which meant I had to scrap the sticky gel off. Which was a shame. My skin does feels soft.

I got this mask in a BBBE. fantastic way to try products like this. The mask itself was easy to apply & felt sturdy. Didn't slip off my face & was very moisturising.

The smell was mild and pleasant, but it was easy to remember it was there (sometimes with paint on masks I forget I'm wearing one).

If you want to really treat yourself (you deserve it) this a mask I would go for, after all people pay a lot more at spas!

I recieved this in the BBBE All About You Box. It comes in a tinfoil package and was unlike any mask id used before but in saying that, masks are not something i use often.

This mask was very easy to apply. It has two parts, one for your forehead and the other for the rest of your face. I thought this was great as it made it easier to put on and less fiddly than other masks that are all in one.

I only left on for 15 minutes as thats all the time i could afford with 2 kids under 2 and the oldest is generally scared of masks like this. If i did it again i would like an extra 5 minutes i think. It has a nice cooling effect and it came off relatively easy. It left my skin tingling and feeling very revitalised.

I would use this mask again but only as a special treat for myself as $15 is a bit out of my price range.

I recieved one of these in the BR 'it's all about you ' BBBE. These are pretty fancy as far as face masks go, the gold foil packaging and the overall look and feel of the mask, is indicative that these are high quality.

This gel mask feels cooling and soothing on the face, and it sticks and stays on well. I left the mask on for about half an hour and my skin felt so refreshed afterwards, smoothed, softened, and looked noticably brighter. I thought that this mask might potentially leave behind a little sticky residue as it's gel, but it did not.

These masks are a luxury option. I'd like to use them reguarly, but I can't at this time justify the price. I'd definitely recommend if you're willing to spend $15 on a really good face mask, also a box of these would make for an exceptional special gift for mum, or anyone who's really into face masks and skin care.

When I received this in the ‘it’s all about you’ BBBE I couldn’t wait to try it, I had never used a sheet mask before but had heard many good things about them.

These come in gold coloured foil packaging, there are two pieces to the mask one is the forehead area and the other is the eye to chin area. I carefully remove the plastic backing from the mask and apply it to my face. I did have a wee laugh at myself in the mirror I did look kinda silly, but off I went to the recliner and just relaxed for 20 minutes. It felt slightly cold but apart from that there was no sticky feeling or that tight feeling from some other masks that dry on your skin which can sometimes be annoying.

After the 20 minutes I peeled the mask off (no it doesn’t hurt) and I was shocked at how smooth my skin looked. Fine lines seemed to have disappeared and I didn’t seem to have any pores. I loved it so much I had to find out where I could get my hands on more of these gorgeous masks. I found that they weren’t stocked on the farmers website so a quick trip to farmers in the city only to be told they don’t stock those masks. So when I finally found some on makeup.co.nz i was over the moon I bought 1 box which consists of 5 masks for $90 yep it’s pricey enough but to me they are worth every cent.

I have only been using one every month for a bit of a pick me up and use other masks weekly. Every mask is as good as the first one I tried, leaving my skin looking healthy and less lined. Will I purchase another box? Oh yes yes YES these really are a luxury pick me up for your skin and I cannot recommend these enough (p.s BR you are making me poor with all these amazing products in the BBBE’s that I have to repurchase)

I’d never tried any Dr Lewinns products before so I was keen to try this one.

The mask comes in a tinfoil packet. It consists of two parts, the first covers the forehead and the second covers the nose and bottom part of the face. It unpeels from the backing strip and is easy to apply over the appropriate area. It is quite damp.

I left mine on for 40 minutes, which is longer than recommended, but I was finishing a book I was reading before getting in the bath. When I took off the mask, and it wasn’t sticky and didn’t pull my skin, some areas were quite red and hot. They calmed down quickly though.

After washing and drying my face, I thought it looked clean and very smooth and I feel that the mask did a great job. I was very impressed.

The big question is, would I pay $15 to buy another one? I probably would if I felt like pushing the boat out to pamper myself, but it isn’t something I would buy regularly, only due to the price though, as it is a lovely mask.
