Goodness Eye Cream

This product comes in a small box same colour as tube. I like that it is packaged in a box as it is unlikely someone else has tried it. Not keen on the colour of the tube how ever. Gungy yellow ! The eye cream is white and un scented and a little goes a long way. A few pats around the eye area and it disappears into the skin. I don't think my eyes look amazing as the packaging claims however my skin around my eyes feels soft and I do feel the small wrinkles have softened and my skin feels more pliable. The cist of $20 I feel is reasonable for an eyecream and as the contents are all natural with witch hazel, advocado, coconut and chia seed I am sure this product will continue to assist my skin and maybe with constant use my eyes will look amazing. Nice product and certainly worth a try.

Tips: A few pats morning and night around your eyes is sufficient.

Ah-mazing Indeed!

I am really impressed at the size of this product, (18ml), and it is in a tube, so that is super compact, no sticking fingers into a pottle, and very user friendly. The tip is applicator/nozzle type, which is fantastic for using only the amount of product you really need, so no wastage here! There is absolutely no smell to this that I could detect, and the texture of this eye cream is more of a light lotion, and I don't find this to be heavy at all. On application to my tired eye area, the cream was absorbed so easily and quickly, it is a total pleasure to use. I love the idea of using an eye cream twice a day, and this is what I do usually, I did note there was no SPF in the cream though, so you may need to top up with a facial SPF in your day moisturiser. After using this eye cream, my eye area feels soft, moisturised, and non greasy, (fantastic for in the morning under makeup) it is too early to say if it's helping banish the life lines I have..okay crows feet... but I am going to happily use this to see if I get some results by the end of the tube. New Zealand made beauty products have been a bit hit and miss for me in the past, however I am placing this in the 'hit' category. And at $20, it is one of the most reasonably priced eye creams on the market that I've seen in a while, and no animal testing, yay!!

Tips: Pop the tube in the fridge, it will go on nice and cool to wake, and refresh tired eyes in the morning.

Lovely light, natural Eye Cream

I’d been using a serum from a higher end brand which cost around 5 times the price of the Goodness Twice-A-Day Eye Cream and it was causing congestion in the delicate skin around my eyes.

I’d already swapped to the Goodness Every Morning Moisturiser from the same higher end brand so was keen to give their Eye Cream a go. It’s the perfect medium weight, and while I’ve never been sure how much ‘a dot’ equates to, I’ve applied it religiously twice a day for over a week now. I follow the instructions and gently dab it around my eyes, right up to my brow line (which is higher than I’d usually go).

There’s been no congestion and my skin is really soft. Great price, great size and I love that it's natural, they don't test on animals and the packaging is recyclable. Converted!

Goodness Twice a day eye cream.

Hi everyone, when I received this product,I must say I had never herd of this product or company. So being me I thought why not give it a try so I have. It started with me reading the inside sheet which thanked me for doing so,which I thought was nice. So I put it on a straight away I noticed how my eyes felt fresh like a pine fresh, wow I thought that's good it opened my eyes, like it said it would. But that's where my journey ends because to be honest that's all it does, over two weeks my eyes where fresh when put on but not much more. The fresh feeling dose past as well. I thought that this was sad cause I'm always behind New Zealand made, but not this time. Yes I will keep using this, but only if I run out of my favourite Olay . I've given this product 3/5 in all sections because it's not that bad just not really great. Its hard cause I like to support New Zealand made. Anyway if you get a chance and want to try it, then do just don't expect a lot.. Thanks.

Tips: Make sure you don't have anything on your eyes and you don't need to use a lot, a little dab then pat around your eye, done.

Twice A Day!

I have tried so many eye creams over the years, especially getting to my particular age!!...so I was very skeptical about trialling the twice-a-day eye cream product.

First off, the packaging...a wee cute, yellow tube with a grey lid. I actually really liked it, it looks nice on the bathroom shelf. Under the lid is a thin tube dispenser which I really like as you can easily dispense a small amount and therefore no dirty fingers spreading into the rest of the product. I used the product twice a day as suggestion, which only required a small dot. I found that it spread really well and there was no greasy after feel. What really impressed me was that it didnt irritate my eye area at all and I had no morning puffiness...which has happened with the most expensive brands!

I love the Goodness products as the are reliable, made in New Zealand and contains such gorgeous ingredients. The twice-a-day eye cream contains witch hazel extract, chia seed, coconut and avocado oil...just delicious!

Tips: For a cool treat, keep the tube in the fridge and apply when cold...lovely and soothing to tired eyes!

Twice a day?

Thanks BR for being selected on the trial team for this product by Goodness. Goodnes is one of my favourite skincare brands so I was pretty excited to try their new eye cream.

When I read "twice a day" I thought...really? I've never applied eye cream twice a day - good time to start right?!

I really like the packaging, a good size & not bulky. When you unscrew the lid you'll see a smaller tube for the product to come out. The eye cream itself was VERY light on my skin and was also really easy to dab around my eye area. Although there are a lot of oils in the ingredients this wasn't oily or greasy at all. My eye area was soft and smooth after applying the cream.

I found that it didn't effect my makeup at all, and found in the morning my eye area felt really soft. I didn't find there to be a noticeable scent to the product, only a slight coconutty/oily scent (extremely faint).

So for $19 you get 18ml of product which is really good. This eye cream will last a while!

Tips: Squeeze really lightly or you'll get way too much product (there's no way of getting this back in the tube haha) - you only need the smallest amount to cover your eye area.

Ah-mazing eye cream

I have been using this for the last week or so and applying it before make-up in the morning and before bed - as the name suggests. The cream is really light, soft and fragrance-free. It doesn't irritate or sting my eyes, and only requires a wee dab under each eye. It is really smooth making it very easy to apply and it is easily absorbed.

The bottle is a cute yellow colour with simple and funky labelling, which I like. It also matches my pink Goodness moisturiser when they sit together on the bathroom vanity, which strangely makes me happy. Also I love the silver top which is screwed on because you can spin it and it does itself up - again for some reason this makes me happy!

At almost $20 a bottle it is a little expensive, but it should last a while since it only needs a wee dab each time.

I think what I like most of all about this eye cream is that it doesn't make false claims, like 'will reduce wrinkles by X%'. It is just honest in that it is to make your eyes feel ah-mazing. And yay - it's a New Zealand company.

Overall the cream feels lovely to apply and my eyes feel softer. Thank goodness for Goodness.

Tips: You need less than you think - so go easy on the tube squeezing!

An eye cream under $20!?

The first thing that caught my eye with this product was the price...it is so great (and rare) to find a decent eye cream at this price point so that made me very happy!

The product comes in a little tube with a thin nozzle for application. I found this perfect for placing 3 small dots under each eye and massaging in with my ring finger underneath the eye and over the lid.

I found this cream to be very hydrating for the eye area, my makeup went on smoothly when using in the morning and in the evenings my eye area felt nourished.

The only reason I took of a mark was becuase my first choice of eye cream would be one with a specific purpose (eg. anti-wrinkle or fine lines) but this product does make your eyes feel "ah-mazing" and I would definitely use it again.

Beautiful texture

I'm a big fan of cruelty free products, so I was really excited to receive this Goodness eye cream to review. I've tried some of their other products before and found them generally very nice to use.

Firstly, the packaging. I love the Goodness packaging and the cute little 'handwritten' (then photocopied) note. The product names are great as they actually tell you how to use them (Twice-A-Day eye cream, Every Morning moisturiser, etc). Best product names ever!

As for the size, this was a decent-sized tube that will keep me going for a long time! It opens with the standard screw cap and you squeeze a little out, so you can't introduce bacteria in your moisturiser (super important for eye cream, as the tube lasts so long!).

But the big question... was it any good? I am delighted to say yes, it was! It had a lush creamy texture that felt really good as I applied it. The blend of oils and ingredients left my eye area feeling soothed and moisturised, whether used under makeup or on its own. As promised there is no fragrance and the gentle, natural ingredients meant my sensitive skin was not upset by the cream (this was a biggie as my eye area is where I most frequently react to products). I feel used long term, this product would nourish and care for my eyes without the fuss and big empty promises of some other beauty brands.

Finally, the price. At only $20 this little eye cream is a steal - especially when you consider how long it will last you!

This is a lovely little eye cream that I would definitely recommend. At that price you can afford to give it a go yourself without fear of developing an expensive habit! Yay for inexpensive, cruelty free, natural beauty products! <3 it!

Tips: Goodness do a set of travel sized products so if you want to try more of the Goodness range get yourself a set.

A good eye cream

I have always used an eye cream, since turning 37 I'm aware of my skin more and more as the signs of aging start. The cream came in a decent size which is great as a lot of creams come in small containers. There is no scent so great being fragrance free. The cream feels lovely to apply. It's natural which is a big plus. I like that it uses avocado and coconut oil as they are great for your skin. The only thing that is a negative is you have to use it twice a day. As a busy mum I would rather a once a day cream but it's not that big a deal. Also it's a New Zealand product win win...

Tips: It's pretty straight forward but I have heard a good tip to keep it in the fridge too soothe tired eyes
