Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Pore Scrub

This facial scrub works amazing, I have naturally oily skin and this really helped clear up my acne and made my face feel oil free, it smells really nice- a bit like pear. I currently use it every day and my skin is so much better than it was before I started using it. It’s also great to snow that is almost completely made up of natural ingredients so I know that there are no harsh chemicals that could damage my skin.

I bought this to try de-clutter my pores. I had noticed that my skin was feeling very dull and just looked gunk filled and urgh. I wanted a scrub that would help keep built up dirt at bay. I didn't want an exfoliator because I have my HG of that but just something to help in between using an exfoliator and mask. I wanted something that wouldn't be too abrasive on my skin but still clean at the same time.

At the time I was after a full skin care range to replace the one I had. This is in the same range as the skin care products I got so it all just made sense. The bottle is an upside down flip top lid type tube. It makes it easier to get the product out of the tube with the lid on the bottom. The colour is cream with green colour to give it a 'natural product' look. It works for me.

The scrub itself is a creamy colour with tiny beads to help take away some of those impurities. I was scared that the beads would be super harsh on my skin, being sensitive. I use this every second day as not to make my skin too raw with rubbing the beads over it. I wet my face with warm water and use a 20 cent piece size of scrub. I rub it in circular motions, making sure I get every inch of skin covered and scrubbed. I then wash it off with warm water to reveal a fresh, clean and slightly brighter canvas.

I can certainly see a visible difference after only a month use. My skin doesn't gunk up as much as it use to because it doesn't get a chance to settle like it used to. My pores are smaller and usually always clear with the exception of a few times. It makes my foundation sit better too without the oily and dirt filled pores to ruin everything. It gives one a new sense of confidence after seeing the results.

The only complaint I have with it is that where I have dry skin and red patches they are enhanced times two. I now have even drier skin in one spot especially and a redder area above my eyebrows. I guess my skin sensitivity doesn't love all the scrubbing with the beads. It is a small sacrifice for clearer and brighter skin so I am happy. It would be good for those teens prone to acne and oily skin.

Not sure about the purifying pores, but it certainly is good at getting rid of dead skin without making your skin feel like it has been sand blasted.I bought this to try after reading reviews and very glad I did. I rather like the Neutrogena range and glad they have brought this product out.

I say "face wash" because to me it's not an exfoliator, which I think some people are fooled in to thinking it is by the word 'scrub' in the name. The beads are very small and provide a very gentle cleanse, so it's more of just your standard daily cleanser.

I was drawn to this cleanser due to the salicylic acid content, and because there's no huge unpronounceable words on the ingredients list, it really is full of awesome, natural ingredients, which I knew my sensitive/dry skin would appreciate.

It's a creamy cleanser with a thin consistency that doesn't foam up, which I love as I find foam cleansers can be quite drying. It has a very subtle fresh/cucumber scent and it leaves your skin feeling clean, but not stripped. I do have to remove my makeup before using this as it's purely a skin cleanser, not a makeup remover.

I don't expect to see changes in my skin from a cleanser as it's washed off after a couple of seconds, and this one is no different, but it's the only cleanser I've found that's affordable with good ingredients and that doesn't dry my skin out. I've repurchased it about 4 times and will continue to do so!

I was expecting good things from this with it saying its a natural product but I found that my skin burned when I used this and I went a little red. I tried it a couple more times to see if I'd used too much product or rubbed too hard but with the same results. I don't have overly sensitive skin but find some products seem to react with my skin so it may just be me. It has a very runny texture compared to other scrubs and very fine beads. It smells really fresh and is quite affordable but I won't be purchasing again.

I have sensitive skin, and I was looking to find a natural scrub when I came across this one. I use it every other day and I absolutely love it!

Unlike other scrubs I have tried, this one has a slightly runnier consistency. The beads are very small and not too abrasive, so I don't feel like I've scrubbed my skin raw. It has not caused any break outs or irritation and I find that it does wonders when I have flaky skin and need to buff it away. I also like the scent as well, is not too strong and overpowering.

I love this and use it every other day. It originally appealed to me because of it's natural ingredients, with no harsh chemicals, sulfates, parabens, petrchemicals, dyes or phthalates. I also like that it uses natural jojoba beads instead of plastic microbeads which are terrible for the environment. It also has a list on the back which details every ingredient and what it is sourced from.

What else does it claim to do? 1. Washes away dead skin cells and detoxifies pores 2. It removes dirt, oil, makdup and other impurities without being too harsh.

I think it does all these things. You get the feeling that everything is being scrubbed clean when you use it, but unlike some other products I have used it doesn't damage the skin or scratch too harshly with it's exfoliants. It leaves skin feeling fresh and clean, and I noticed an improvement in my acne when I introduced it to my daily routine.

Wow! This face scrub is what I have been looking for for years. I have combination skin but when i'm using this product I would say it makes my skin feel pretty normal.

The packaging has a really nice design which leans away from their typical bright colours and is more in line with the natural ingredients. It says on the back that the packaging contains up to 50% recycled materials so good to know they are doing their bit for sustainability.

The smell is quite refreshing, I don't know what jojoba smells like but I imagine this is where the product is getting its scent from. It is definitely a nice fragrance to wake you up in the morning.

It says that it has jojoba beads in it but thats not how I would describe it at all. To me its sort of like a milky gel with very very fine grains of sand through it, but not overpowering more just a medium consistency.

When I use this product at night time, I firstly remove all my makeup with coconut oil and then go in with the scrub. I find this allows the product to deeply cleanse my skin without having to do a double wash and waste product.

Afterwards I find my skin is so soft, my pores have been thoroughly cleansed with a squeaky clean feeling but without the harsh dryness that tends to come with that.

This scrub is gentle enough to use every day and I have really been noticing the difference in my skin. So much brighter and just feeling a lot healthier and more nourished.

UPDATE: Just bought my second tube as I had run out and after about 4 days of not using it my skin went haywire! love this stuff

I so love this scrub, it is gentle on skin,doesn't cause irritation, really makes skin silky smooth and clean without drying out I would so recommend to people who want a nice clean and fresh wash for their face but without totally drying out their skin or causing pimples. It is very pure and clean and you know you are doing something good for your skin. I love it!! :) so worth it!
