I'd read about micellar water and must admit I was a little dubious but jumped at the chance to try it.
Firstly I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the bottle and jumped to the conclusion that meant you need a lot of it - the first night proved me wrong! The packaging is bright and modern and simple. The top is sturdy but easy to open and the size of the hole is perfect - it makes it impossible to use too much!
I also thought it would smell but it really doesn't - maybe only a tiny bit but it's very pleasant.
The consistency is as expected - watery but is nice to use. My skin can break out at almost anything but even after a week my skin is still clear (very happy).
It claimed that you don't have to rub to remove make up and I initially didn't find this to be correct - I did have to rub to remove my mascara, but it did remove it very well and I didn't have to runrub as hard as with my normal cleanser. I realised on about day 3 that if you use it like nail varnish remover (hold and wipe) it made a huge difference.
My skin has been clean and soft - so soft that when I realised at 10am that I'd forgotten to put my moisteriser on I touched my face and was amazed to see how soft it still was!
If this really is $13 for this size bottle when it comes onto the market, I'll be a definite convert!
Garnier has impressed me this time with this cleansing water, its packaging is simple, very flexible , meaning less waste in landfills, on a downside the lid, has the ability to be opened in transit, or in yor bag if you are going away. The product has a water type appearance, is clear with a watery touch, one could almost mistake it for water as such, no smell no perfume and no residual feel on your hands or face, on application the product removes impurities from skin without having the need to rinse off, it did have some trouble with makeup but that was easily dealt with by using a second application, It certainly left my skin feeling fresh, and clear, in regard to acne it would need further use to see if it reduces. Overall the product is value for money providing a new way of removing makeup, t
Tips: The product likeness to water can be mistaken by children thinking its drinkable (under 5) I sugfest store it well away from reach.
