used to be my go to but now... not so much

These were the way to fake colour before at home tanners got so easy, and so good!

The dark gave a more intense result for your efforts, but despite best efforts these always left me a little orangey, smelling a little chemically, and with slightly stained hands.

Nice lotion, and it'll give you a bit of colour, but perhaps not the type you want. It's just as cost effective and simple to buy a proper tanner, these days.

Tips: always patch test for colour!

Natural tan

After freaking out about going to an event in the heat and having to bare my white legs to the public I decided I needed to tan!

I have self tan but don't have the confidence using it just yet.

Got talking to a friend of mine and she made the suggestion to buy this. I literally drove to the supermarket and picked it up.

I was a little hesitant because I didn't want to go orange. Thankfully that did not happen. I shook the bottle really well before applying. The cream is the consistency the same as your everyday moisturizer. Now I should mention this is a gradual tan. You apply it to your skin and it gradually builds up a nice natural looking tan. For me however it was affective straight away. I applied a significant amount the first time massaging it thoroughly into my leg but being careful around the knees and ankles so the tan didn't grab to those areas. I recommend only going over those areas with the remaining lotion left on your hands after massaging it in so your knees don't turn horribly dark.

I applied one layer and noticed the difference straight away. me being me applied 3 layers in one night waking to beautifully tanned legs! I wasn't orange.

Do be careful once you have applied the moisturizer to your legs make sure they are dry before you go near fabric or bedding or it will stain! I found drying my legs with a hair dryer helped the drying process up.

The tan lasted 2 showers before I needed to re apply :)

For $8 I don't think you can go wrong, and its the perfect way to prepare your self to self tan at home.

Tips: Use lotion sparingly around ankles and knees.
