Veet Easy Wax Electrical Roll on.

I love this electrical Roll on machine , So easy and practical to use in the comfort of your house without paying someone to get wax, you can get the refills and would last for a couple of times,I'm in love with mine , I have own it for around two years, get a salon treatment at home!

Tips: Give the machine time to heat , make sure your legs are free of oil or any other skin products .

Waxy Disappointment

I was very excited to try this product since it came out but waited for a sale as it was a bit pricey for my liking, compared to my usual wax products. The wax rolled on nice and evenly and the pink colour was a nice added touch. The waxing strips were a lot thinner than usual strips and I feel this made them weaker. When pulling the strips off, parts of it remained attached to the wax, leaving my legs and waxy, fibrous mess. The cleansing wipes provided, also didn't stand up to par as I was left with a lot of residue still stuck to me after going through all four wipes.

All in all, this product is safe and handy, however not the product for me.

Tips: Use waxing strips from other waxing products as they are much thicker and stronger and will not tear during use.

Hit and miss

I have had a professional wax kit previously but got rid of it cause I didn't use it enough, I found this very similar just without a temp control which is pretty good idea when selling it to so many people as there is less risk of burning by it being bumped. I find it easy to use. I don't think it saves you any money really as you can get waxing done pretty cheap with deals etc. it's more a convenience to me because I find it hard to get into salons. It is a bit tricky to do the back of your legs.

Tips: Have a friend round for a couple of wines and do each other's legs it makes it easier if you can see the way the hair grows in order to pull off in the right direction to get the best results why not throw in a pedicure while your at it :) and make a night of it

VEET – EASY ROLL ELECTRICAL WAX KIT | REVIEW

Lets put it out there, if I can get away with shaving over waxing, I will choose shaving every time. However, in the colder weather I can’t stand having to shave my legs every day or every other day, so waxing becomes very very important if you want to stay prickle free. Now, I have dabbled with home waxing numerous times in the past and I always find that I heat up the wax too much or not enough and the consistency is off and I end up making a lot of mess… AND this is where the Veet EasyWax Electrical Roll-On Kit has come in handy! This kit comes with everything you see in the photo above – a self heating device and its cap, a 50ml roll on wax refill, 12 non woven strips, 4 post depilatory wipes, an electrical cable and an instruction leaflet. You simply insert the wax refill into the heating device, plug it in and wait 20-40min for it to warm up to the perfect temperature. I let it heat up for 40min because the weather is currently pretty cold and I have read reviews that if you only leave it for 20min then it doesn’t apply as evenly (you might only need to heat it for 20min when the weather is a lot warmer). You then apply the roller to you skin and the wax applies in a nice thin layer (you can apply another layer if it initially applies a little patchy). The most exciting thing to me was that the wax is bright pink! Now I can’t tell you how much more fun this process is when the wax is pink… I am a sucker for things like that. The wax didn’t feel too hot because it applies in a thin layer. I found that this wax worked really well and I was quite surprised because my leg hairs weren’t as long as they normally need to be when I have waxed them previously. I found that the wax did start to cool down after around 15min… so if you are waxing large areas then I would suggest to reheat this after 15-20min. I only waxed from the knees down so I didn’t use up the whole cartridge of wax, and I honestly don’t know how many waxes one refill contains. Also note that this is the refill for arms and legs, they do have refills for underarms and bikini lines which have a smaller applicator. There was one negative that I experienced with this system… and I think it might annoy me quite a lot down the track. I used about 6 or so fabric strips and I am used to being able to wash them and reuse them (as other pot waxes are water soluble), this wax is really really stubborn and almost has a waxy chewing gum consistency. To remove the excess off your legs you NEED to use the towelettes provided because the wax only dissolves with oil. This annoys me because with this type of wax you can’t wash the fabric strips, which means if you use too many then you literally need to go buy backups. Also since the wax is so hard to remove, if you do get it on any fabric (I went to wipe my hands on a tea towel) it will be very difficult to remove. The only improvement I could suggest to this kit is that they make the wax water soluble.

Tips: I loved using this system, the process was a lot more mess free than any other at home wax kit I have used previously, it also was fun to use, very effective, and I loved the pink wax. The one downside is that you can’t wash the fabric strips and I know for a fact that once I run out of strips I will either forget to buy more or resent having to buy more at an added cost. If you want a very simple no fuss at home waxing system, I do highly recommend trying this out!

Amazing and less painful!

I wish I had used this sooner!!! I converted to waxing about 8 months ago and always use to wait until I went to my beautician every 5-6 weeks and by week 4 my legs felt like a hairy gorilla! So now I can do this at home every few weeks and it is not a hassle at all.

PROS Very easy to use Wax stays at correct temperature so you can't burn yourself So much less painful that salon wax (maybe because your prepared when you rip it off) The towellete after works really well for removing excess wax Just a great easy system

CONS Tendency to over apply the product means 1 refill can only do legs 3/4 so up to mid/high thigh, make sure you keep application light Wish the refills were bigger

Tips: You can get more use out of the strips if you fold one end over a bit (to the sticky side) and then use the other side of the strip - you should be able to do up to the mid thigh with 4-5 strips max.

If you still have some sticky bits after and don't want to open another towelette after about 30 minutes apply a small amount of olive oil and rub into your legs!

Veet EasyWax Electrical Roll On

To start with this seemed like a really good idea. No overheated wax, easy to apply, not too thick. It takes a while to heat up to a spreadable consistency but once it does it smooths on nicely.

The strips are a lot softer than most other wax kits. Unfortunately I found that this meant they were weak and instead of pulling off cleanly they ripped. On the upside it doesn't cause skin irritation. Even the few times the strips didn't rip it left a noticable amount of hair behind, not heaps, but enough to be annoying.

This kit comes with finishing wipes. Disappointingly these didn't work to remove any wax residues. Said residues were difficult to remove and as a result even months later my little nail scrubber brush is tacky with it and it still won't come out of one of my big fluffy towels.

I've given this a few goes and continue to get the same results. For what could've been an amazing product it's sadly relegated to a dark corner of the closet. Like I said at the beginning, the concept is brilliant. Maybe it just needs a little refinement.

Tips: Maybe buy some stronger wax strips for this to work properly.

This is life!

Long suffering salon wax victim here. I've always thought that leg waxing is the most painful beauty regime ever, or at least until I used this product. I wont lie, there is pain, as is expected with any waxing, but this hurt 1/2 as much as any salon job I've ever had

Just heat it up and away you go. The wax strips can be used multiple times, and with my own legs being average to large, I still only used about 2-3 strips per leg, including sometimes sticking 2 used strips together to use the back of one.

My only con would be that there's no temperature control, but I just unplug the device for a while then plug it bag in when I'm finished.

Tips: Dust the area lightly with baby powder for less trauma to the skin.

Very Torn

So the Veet EasyWax Electrical Roll on, really do not know how I feel about this product, it didnt work on me very well, I found that the wax didn't come off my skin nor did it remove any of the hair...

So I picked this up on special which was great because i wanted to try it but it can be quite costly, the packaging was so cute with it being pink and white and i loved that about it, perfect little size easy to handle with all size, great to just plug in, any where in the house where you want to do the wax. It came with the post wax wipes but i couldn't use them due to allergies. It came with all the instructions that you could need even if it was the first time waxing which was great so it explained very well what to do which I personally love.

The wax was a pink kind of cream type wax and once it was heated to the correct temperature it went on in a smooth consistency, I personally did not like that it was more of a creamy wax rather than a film, thats personal preference though i think, so I applied the strip over top done what it said pulled it off quickly against the growth but i found i was left with more product and hair left on my leg than on the strip so that was really disappointing, I tried this a few time and kept getting the same result so it just did not work for me, but then I had a friend over and I done the exact same technique on her and it removed hair perfectly so I am unsure as to why it did not work on me, I was really disappointed.

Overall I found this product did not work for me so I have not brought it since but I still recommend it to others to try as it is a cheap and easy way to do your waxing at home.

No more mess!!

I've always been a home waxer, but got so frustrated with the mess and mucking around with hot wax tubs and finding spatulas etc that I asked for an epilator for Christmas. Don't get me wrong, I love my epi, but it still doesn't work as well as waxing did. So when I saw this product being reviewed on here I had to try it out.

Fortunately from reading the other reviews I was prepared to heat it for a long time before using it, I waited around 40minutes and it was perfect. I guess the fuller the cartridge, the longer it will take.

The first thing that struck me with this, was the simplicity. No dripping wax or spatulas, no mess - no fuss. You simply plug the unit in and leave it to heat. Once it's at temperature, roll on the wax and using the strips supplied, remove - viola! The pack also comes with some really great after-use wipes that remove any excess wax, these work brilliantly but they will run out before the wax does, so I will resort to good old baby oil then.

The only downside I found with this product is that the cord plugs into the unit itself, rather than the base. This means that unless your able to wax comfortably right beside a powerpoint, you have to unplug it every time you apply the wax.

Tips: If the wax doesn't apply smoothly, leave it for longer - it will not overheat. Apply a fine dusting of baby powder to your legs to ensure the wax adheres perfectly to your hair. If you've run out of wipes, use baby oil to remove excess wax.

so so

It was great the first time I used it - took a little longer to warm up than it said it would, but no biggie. The second time I used it (even after thoroughly cleaning as per instructions) it wasn't evenly distributing the wax so I was going over spots more than once which was a bit of a hassle!

Other than that, super easy to use - and did a world of wonders while I was pregnant , didn't have to go to the salon to get my legs waxed! Bonus!
