L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Instant Miracle Review

I have damaged frizzy coloured hair. I'm always looking for a good hair mask. This was cheap so thought I would try it. It smells lovely! One star for smell. but it does nothing for my hair type. I condition my hair first with my regular conditioner and apply this all over and let it sit for 1 minute. While washing it out I can feel my dry hair, so it doesn't have that conditioned feel. After a couple of weeks use my hair is still the same. It's cheap and may work on finer hair types.

I am a big fan of most L'Oréal Paris products but sadly, not this one. I was excited at the prospect of a hair treatment that can repair my hair and make it soft in just 60 seconds! It sounded too good to be true, and disappointingly for me, it was.

I have curly hair which tends to get dry, but is also fine so can run the risk of being bogged down by heavy products. For me, Elvive Total Repair 5 Instant Miracle was just too heavy. I tried to use it a few times, even once washing it out of my hair as soon as I put it it. Each time I have used this treatment it's made my hair thick, heavy, and greasy.

I won't use this product again as it just didn't work for me but I can imagine it would be perfect for someone with thicker, drier hair than me.

This product actually feels like it is improving the condition of my hair after use. It is quite affordable for the quality of the product and size of the product. I like how it is in a tube instead of a tub and seems to last longer than the tub treatments I have purchased as you can control the amount of the product better. It leaves my hair feeling smooth and silky and the smell is devine.

My hair is in need of a moisturising miracle, so one day at the supermarket, I decided to give this a go.

I regarded the term '1 minute miracle' very skeptically, and read several reviews on my phone in front of the shampoo section before purchasing. But it was a sound decision. My hair instantly feels softer when I apply this product.

I generally leave it a couple of minutes to make sure I am getting the most out of the product, but if you are doing a quick hair wash you can leave it in for just 60 seconds.

My hair hasn't looked any less dry since I have been using this product, but it certainly feels much softer for a day or two after using it.

I will repurchase if I don't find anything that makes my hair look less dry as well.

This is a wonderful treat for my hair. I do not use this too often, once every two weeks, the normal conditioner is fine for regular use. This comes in an easy tube and the product is luxurious to feel. This works well for me when left in as a hair mask for sometime before rinsing it off. The trick is to not use excessive amounts as that might then leave your hair greasy after the wash.

This smells the same as the Total repair 5 shampoo and conditioner and is basically just like the conditioner a little goes a fair way and you can opt to leave it in if you like but be careful as too much Keratin can make the hair crunchy and not soft. I would rather leave it in longer than 60seconds and you can use sparingly or as a rinse off mask I feel you can do the same with the conditioner if you wanted to but this costs about the same price but you get 200ml not 250 and it is thicker. How ever I do wonder if it really works to repair it or if it is just improving the look of your hair and the feel.

I love this product. I always have one as I have very fine hair that damages easily and I do box dye my hair atleast every 3 months which drys it out a bit. I am prone to split ends. With using this maybe twic a week when I was my hair I can go a bit longer without a trim and it doesn't dry out all this, using it regularly for me keeps my hair I'm tip top condition !
