Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Shampoo Review

I have used this shampoo multiple times and i really like it a lot! I have greasy dull hair and i find it hard to find shampoos that clean my hair aswell as making it look shiny and soft and this done it for me. I do not use this shampoo with the conditioner because i prefer to use it with a hair mask because my ends are very dry. I really like the smell of this shampoo and i think it is very affordable.

I've been using this along side my garnier hair food as it suggests on the hair food to use a garnier shampoo in conjunction. It just so happened both were on sale so I brought a set of shampoo and conditioner and the hair food as it was half price at countdown making it super affordable.

It's a great shampoo. Lots of their shampoos are actually. It's a light formula that doesn't cause product build up. Clear jel like shampoo that lathers up nicely and to quite a thick lather to be honest. Rinses easily and leaves you feeling like you have clean hair with no product residue. I feel like it conditions while cleaning so I think it does live up to the promise of sleek hair.

When dry my hair was more manageable. I wouldn't say it tamed it fully.. but it smoothed it quite reasonably for an affordable shampoo. Would definitely use again.

I have a really mixed hair depending on how my thyroid is acting it can be dry or greasy, but I found the sleek and shine was beautiful in my hair no mater what state it was in, the shampoo cleans my hair but doesnt strip it so it feel like straw. Then the conditioner I hardly need any, just a small bit well and truly covers my long hair. And yes it keeps the frizz down my hair is nice and smooth and yummy. The only thing I could possibly say thats negative is that it loses my natural waves, but at the end of the day that is exactly what it is supposed to do :D

I had not used garnier fructis shampoo for a long time so when I saw it at Countdown for an amazing $2.50 I thought I would give it a try. I love the vibrant green packaging, it is very appealing to me.

The shampoo is a great consistency, I would say more on the runnier side which I like. It spreads well in my long hair and foams up brilliantly. The scent is amazing! Very fruity and a bit stronger than the conditioner.

My hair is left super clean, it does a great job at ridding any hair products I have used and it does not dry my scalp out at all. I love how the scent lingers all day. I would definitely repurchase this, a great cheap shampoo especially when used with the matching conditioner.

My hair is wavy to curly but and absolute frizzy mess when I brush it. I was very skeptical of this product before trying it. Not imaging something could control my frizz well. But I was left very surprised. Firstly, it smells amazing. It kind of reminds me of a fruity apple smell. I did notice that the smell lingered in my hair longer than other shampoo fragrances which I don't mind whatsoever. This shampoo most definitely reduced my frizz. I feel like I didnt need to use as much of this shampoo as what I usually do with others. The consistency is also a little more runnier than what I am used to, but this is no big deal. My hair looked more healthier, particularly in my ends. I do feel like I had to wash it slightly more often than I would normally, I think with the added Argan Oil. I did find this to be the only downside. I'm very busy and do not like having to wash my hair so frequently. If frizz is a major obstacle for you then I definitely recommend trying this product. I will definitely continue to use it when I want my hair to have extra frizz control and shine but during the week I will stick to what I have for the sake of having to wash it so frequently.

My first impression of the product was the packaging. It has a nice green colour that screams goodness and health for your hair. I think it would be easy to find in the supermarket. Second impression was opening the bottle. It smells fruity, very nice and fresh. This factor is very important to me because I get headaches if the smell is too strong. After passing that test, I really need it to try it.

The product is easy to handle and you don’t need to have a fight to open it. I have long hair but I didn’t need much product so the bottle will last for a while.

The shampoo kept my hair clean for a long time and left a nice feeling after I rinse it. I used the shampoo together with the conditioner.

I won’t say they eliminated all the frizzy but it was reduced. Also my hair looked shiny.

That it is paraben free is an extra bonus.

I would add it to my future shopping list.

Having used sleek and shine and anti frizz shampoos before I was I was excited to be sent this product as part of a trial. Did it do as it said it would do? Yes it did. Having curly hair underneath with a straightish layer over the top my hair is quite boofy and frizzy looking especially when left to dry naturally. This shampoo comes in a lovely clear green bottle which is easy to use. First time however as shampoo is quite runny a fair amount came out into my hand so lesson learnt to be a tad more careful tipping up the next time. The smell is amazing and not overpowering and using only a small amount it foams up well. Hair felt great after rinsing and didn't tangle my hair at all. Love that its Paraben free and with the added Argan Oil will be great to protect my hair when using my hairdryer or straighteners. I was pleased with how my hair felt soft after using and even when left to dry naturally wasn't as frizzy looking. Did a few washes on its own and then with the conditioner and that really was a great pairing and my hair did stay looking great. I'd say the more I use the better my hair is going to be. Overall very happy.

I was sent this product as part of the trial team and got the Sleek & Shine shampoo as when I leave my hair to dry naturally it is extremely frizzy. The smell of the shampoo is delicious and I loved how it my hair smelled just like it for ages afterwards. I did find the shampoo was runnier than other shampoos I have used in the past so you have to make sure you really cup your hand so you don't lose any, the good thing is you only need about a 50c piece worth to do your hair. It foams well, as in not too much foam just the right amount to spread easily in your hair and also washes out without leaving that slick feel on your skin where it has run off like others can. After towel drying my hair and then letting it dry the rest on its own it was great to see it was less frizzy and found after I used the shampoo (along with the conditioner) a couple more times my hair got even better when drying and got nice soft well contained curls instead of looking like I was shocked.

Definitely made my hair feel super clean and smooth and also made it much easier to handle....after using irons my hair felt even smoother and I found I didn't need to wash it as much after using this product. Has a really gentle fragrance and comes in a great sized bottle so will last awhile which is good value for money.

Having used Garnier products before I was looking forward to trailing this shampoo as i always find to them to b of a good standard and this one didn't disappoint. I love the change in the colour of the bottle to a more natural green, i think it looks much more elegant. The tops are now much sturdier and close with a definite click. Also stable enough for storing the bottle on so the product is always ready to go. The shampoo itself dispenses nicely and creates a lovely rich lather. It has a fresh apple fragrence to it which just adds to your shower enjoyment. The product rinsed clean nicely and left my hair feeling clean and soft. I find my hair can often be dried out by shampoos and is often left feeling a bit 'squeaky' there was none of this with this shampoo and had i had time constraints i think i would of been fine with the conditioner. Really enjoyed using this product and will definitely use again.
