Hello Sweetie

My hair is damaged from colouring and straightening . I’m always searching for hair care that softens my hair and eases the damage I have on my natural hair .

Packaging is bright coloured I love Garnier packaging because you identify the different colours amongst each of their hair products. Consistency is creamy smells like sweet peaches and fruits. They have their scents down. I find it easy to lather throughout my hair leaving it feeling soft hydrated and manageable.

Overall I enjoy Garner hair products . I just wish they came in larger bottles as I’m always having to buy more as they run out. My kids love conditioner and I’m always running out of it lol .

Smells amazing for days!

This is a really lovely conditioner to use after the Goodbye Damage Shampoo. The first thing you notice when you use the conditioner is the tropical sweet smell (I can't even describe it) but it lingered on my hair for days, even after the daily use of straighteners. The bottle claims to reduce 6 months of damage in 3 washes, I definitely noticed that my hair felt so much softer and smoother than usual and was a lot easier to dry straight (I have a natural wave in my hair) I even noticed that it didn't get greasy too quickly either.

I really like that the conditioner is Paraben Free and that Garnier have made changes to the bottle to allow it to be recycled. Their packaging is also very informative about how the conditioner works so well and explains the science behind using the keraphyll and amla fruit and how good it is for your hair.

Overall I have really enjoyed using this conditioner, I do prefer to buy salon sized shampoo and conditioner but the pricing of this is really great and I like how accessible the range is in the supermarket. It's easy to rinse out of your hair and the smell it leaves is amazing.

Tips: Don't use too much, it spreads extremely easily

Garnier Fructis Goodbye Damage Conditioner

I loved how pretty, vibrant and aesthetic the bright orange bottle was fort the conditioner. Once I had my hands on the conditioner I smelt it and fell in love with the scent. I have always loved really good scents!

When I applied the conditioner to my hair it didn’t lather how I wanted it to. Although, I put this down to the conditioner being paraben free and from experience with organic hair care those don’t really lather either. This was a negative for me though as I love my hair wash products to lather as it gives the impression of a better clean (whether this is true or not). I also left the conditioner in my hair to give it a fair testing. As for the shampoo, I also noticed that the conditioner washed out nice and easy. It also left a yum citrus scent when walking around the house.

For a fair trial I also let my hair dry naturally. My hair felt softer afterwards but not as soft as I would have liked. This compared to head and shoulders which would leave my hair feeling noticeably softer. My hair got really itchy all of a sudden about a week later although I am not sure if this was to do with me having a sensitive scalp or the conditioner just not getting rid of dandruff as I would have liked. With the conditioner I did notice a minimal improvement in the amount of my hair that breaks off and falls out when brushing.

Overall I found that the conditioner was good for the price of it, very affordable. The best thing about it was its scent followed by helping with my hair break off and fallout.

Tips: If you like a lather mix the conditioner with the shampoo.

Not Wowed By This Either

I would just like to thank BR for letting me trial this Conditioner before I jump in with my review xx

Packaging is good, easy to open, easy to identify it is the conditoner and not the shampoo. Great job Garnier.

You only need a small amount, and don't need to add on the top of your head as it will make your hair feel greasy.

Fragrance - was quite nice, had a citrus type scent to it, not over powering or in your face though. Smelt fresh I guess you could say.

Rinsing - easy to rinse out afterwards, no greasy feeling if following instructions of amount to be used. Did feel a little soft and silky but not overly which was a shame.

Hair felt clean and refreshed as it dried (I use the air drying method) which was good.

Would I purchase in the future? Unfortunately not as I just didn't feel excitement with this product. Yes it felt clean and looked clean but just didn't have that wow factor I get from some brands.

From dull and lifeless to shiny and healthy

My hair had been limp and lifeless for a while, so I was hoping Goodbye Damage Conditioner would help - and it did! My hair's now shiny, and full of body and bounce. I'll definitely be looking for this when I next buy conditioner. And I love the fresh and fruity scent.

Tips: Do allow time to leave the conditioner on for a few minutes - it makes a difference.

Moisturising conditioner

I was lucky enough to be chosen to trial this conditioner. I have fine, but voluminous, dry hair, so I need to use a conditioner that moisturises my hair without weighing it down. I also lighten my hair, which makes it drier. I have used this conditioner twice before writing my review.

The Goodbye Damage edition comes in a bright orange bottle, and you get 250ml. The bottle stands on a flat lid, which is great for getting the last of the product out of the bottle.

The conditioner is white, and smells kind of like pineapple. It was easy to squeeze out of the bottle, and also easy to distribute onto the ends of my hair. It was also easy to comb it through my hair, and to rinse it out in the shower.

The ends of my hair felt nicely moisturised by this conditioner without feeling weighed down.

I think this conditioner is great value for the price. I have paid more for other conditioners that have done less. It is definitely worth giving this a go if you are looking for a new conditioner. I am going to keep using this after the trial is over.

A Creamy Conditioner

I was excited to trial this conditioner - and shampoo, as I have used a lot of the Garnier Fructis range in the past and have always been happy with them.

An exciting thing I noticed with the packaging is that they have switched their materials to PET - one of the most recyclable plastics in the world. Yay for recycling! Other than that the packaging shape has changed slightly, the bottles feel a little bit more robust but all in all the same striking orange bottle.

This product smells amazing! It is fruity and fresh and I can't get enough. It is not an overpowering scent - don't worry! It even ,makes my hair smell the next day.

I find I have to use a little bit more product than I would of in other brands. It applies well and makes my hair feel nice and creamy. The back of the bottle says to leave for 2-3 minutes, so I often use that time to do other things like use body wash to make sure there is enough time to set in.

I noticed straight away how easy it was to brush my hair after my shower. Using my tangle teezer there was no snagging all my knots (usually there is a lot) just melted away. In the following week I have noticed my hair be a little bit softer, and more hydrated - particularly underneath my hair where usually there are lots of knots because it gets really dry.

For the price I would be happy to keep using this!

Tips: Use with the corresponding shampoo for best effects.

So pretty

Conditioner for my hair is an absolute necessity as I have long, crazy, untamed, over coloured hair that gets so incredibly knotted and matted if I don’t condition or use a conditioner that doesn’t have enough ooompf to it. So I was pleasantly suprised when I was able to comb through my hair pretty easily after using this.

The formula is nice, it’s a a lot lighter than I like to see in a conditioner, but for the price I can’t complain too much as it does the job. I like that my hair doesn’t go fluffy using this as I’m a pretty low maintenance wash and wear kinda gal so that’s a big positive for me because no one wants to look in a shop window and see hair that looks like it’s been hit by lightning.

Overall as with the shampoo, I can’t really say if it has done any repairing to my hair in just a few days of using this, but for the price and the convenience of being able to buy it when out at the supermarket it’s pretty good.

Fruity goodness!

My hair is quite dry and damaged from colouring and heat styling so I was very keen to try these products. The smell is amazing, and its one of the few shampoos I've used where you can still smell the scent the day after washing! The packaging is nice and bright, easy to open and use. I paired this product with the matching shampoo to trial it and was happy with the overall results, the conditioner smoothed my hair and made it silky and soft. For $5, I would purchase this again and am even going to try out some of the matching products. If youre on a budget, definitely give this a shot!

Tips: For those with scalp conditions, I suggest pairing with you're favourite speciailsied shampoo.

A Lovely, Tropical Conditioner

I found the Garnier Fructis Goodbye Damage Conditioner to be a pretty good product that I enjoyed trying out! The packaging is super bright and fun, and the design makes it really easy to disperse the product. The conditioner smells delicious, very fruity and tropical like the shampoo. The thickness of the conditioner was great for curly hair like mine, and I found it a really excellent detangler.

This conditioner doesn't leave my hair looking super shiny or glossy, but it also doesn't create frizz at all. My hair just looks light and clean afterwards, not weighed down at all.

This conditioner didn't really seem to do much in terms of improving the quality of my hair, despite its Goodbye Damage name. I didn't notice any real change in the overall quality of my hair. However, using it over a longer period of time might see improved results.

I would definitely consider repurchasing this product, if only Garnier didn't still test on animals! It was a great detangler with a lovely scent.

Tips: I like to apply conditioner, then clip my hair up while I do the rest of my shower things. At the end of my shower I then take it down and wash it out for extra nourished hair.
