I find this fragrance gentle and romantic, perfect my summer. I have noted rose but it's not dominating for me, I actually smell a mixture of flowers with a hint of blackberry. It's become my choice for summer 2015 and I definitely love the packaging too.

Yves Saint Laurent Parisienne
Parisienne, the new fragrance by YVES SAINT LAURENT is a sensuous bouquet to the woman whose heart belongs to Paris… even if home is elsewhere.
A voluptuous floral accord of violet, damask rose and tart blackberry seems to tell the whole story. But then comes the fullness of sandalwood, deepened by musk and brightened by peonies, tying the endnotes to the ones beginning.

Tips: Layering with shower gel and moisturising cream with the same fragrance will help you smelling awesome all day.
Beautiful packaging, and inside is a beautiful glass orb type shaped bottle with its wee gold lid containing my 50 miles of Eau De parfum. It looks a purple colour in the bottle. This fragrance is a little spicey and a little woody and the berries and rose are the first notes. For me this fragrance screams soft and femininity but look at me the wrong way and I'll stomp all over you. The first spray and I found it quite sharp and wasn't to sure but twenty minutes in and this fragrance warms in and just comes into it's own and the end result is a warm woody floral scent with a tiny hint of musk. It wears well and lasts quite nicely during the day and just a wee top up now and then. Easily goes from coffee with friends to work to a romantic evening. A great fragrance that does last and I don't need to spay on lots certainly worth purchasing.
Tips: Try before you buy.
I find this to be one of the younger smelling scents from YSL. The bottle is very beautiful and eye catching, also made of very thick glass so very durable. The scent to me is a floral musk with the main note im picking up on my skin to be rose and hints of musk. I paid $20 for me so am so happy I got it as its eye catching and a wonderful scent, especially if being worn to a special event as I get loads of compliments.
Tips: Wear to special events
This is the perfect per fun for those who don't like heavy fragrances. It's gentle on the skin and is the perfect balance of fresh fruity and floral. I prefer this as my winter perfume as it is a bit heavier than my others. If your anything like me and have sensitive skin then you have to be careful with what perfumes you use. This is a 10 out of 10 for me
I'm finding that I have extremely different taste to many women out there on perfume. Women rave and rave and rave about Chanel, but I can't stand it. YSL was another one of those scents where everybody who is a somebody has this fragrance.
Out of impulse - without smelling it, I purchased it. If everyone loves it so will I right? False! I hated it!
It's a very mature scent - almost a little too mature a scent - and I mean it sort of reminds me of my grandmother.
It's top notes are roses, raspberries and cranberries. But all I can smell every time I go in for a sniff is musk, musk, musk, more musk, a huge dash of roses, more musk, and plastic.
In case you are still wondering what it smells like, it smells like roses, musk and old makeup!
The two aren't exactly a perfect combination - at least not in this case, as the two notes are very heavy and together are nauseating.
I can only stand this perfume for a couple of minutes, before I feel like I have to sit down from a headache or go throw up to feel better. I'm sorry YSL, not a fan at all.
I can't even imagine an event, season, or time of day where this perfume would suit best. It doesn't suit anything. It's one of those very random scents, that I can only associate with old people homes, and visiting my grandparents.
The smell does however last a very long time on the skin - as it should because it is a very expensive perfume! And the bottle and purple liquid inside is to die for!!
This scent will forever be in my top 5 perfumes!! Staple for your collection. The scent stays the whole day and a little goes along way! I own both the 50ml & 100ml EDP and it has been my signature scent for the past 4 years! This perfume can be worn during the day if applied lightly, but is also perfect for the night time and special occasions!
The perfume definitely has rose, berry and musky notes! It is also quite sweet smelling.
Tips: Can be a bit overbearing if you apply too much, so apply from a distance!
As a baby doll lover I thought this would be ideal! I bought a bottle on impulse and when I got it home I realised I'd made a mistake. The fragrance is heavy and powerful and eventually made me feel a bit nauseous. I think it was just too sickly for me. It would last all day which was a shame for me as I really didn't like it . If you like a full on fragrance then buy it.
Tips: Try before you buy!
I'm a big fan of this perfume, mainly because it smells so unique and fruity. It's sweet- not overly so like Miss Dior- but also slightly tangy. The bottle is beautiful- definitely one to keep even after you've used it all up. Overall, more suited to someone young. Can work for both day and night. Big thumbs up from me.
I have worn YSL Paris for over 20 years, I prefer the original but this is pretty too. To me its the epitome of what parfum should be, elegant, feminine, pretty, classic, timeless and very French. Most women have their one or two classics they go to mine are always YSL Paris and Chanel Number 5. I wore them at 20, 40 and will still be wearing them when I am 80. Just like my Grandmother did with her Estee Lauder Youth Dew. It was her scene at YSL Paris is mine, it represents me and all that I love. Its an emotional relationship you have with perfume... and each to their own. I love trying new fragrances and places to travel but I will never love anything as much as I love Paris.
This is one fragrance I knew I was in love at first smell. I really enjoy any scent with sandlewood in it. This fragrance has floral notes which are the first notes, along with blackberry and violet. Just when you think that is the end, here comes the sandlewood, just beautiful.
I find this frangrance lasts a good long while being an Eau De Pafum. I will spary this fragrance when I have finished applying my make up and then usually after lunch.
I am not one that believes you have a special fragrance for special occasions. I believe every day is special.
Tips: Try this fragrance at your fragrance counter. Always try it on your skin before you purchase.
