Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse Foundation

This product is not the greatest when it comes to foundations.. It is a thick consistency and is very heavy on the face. It does give a full coverage application but looks very cakey! And although it does what it says it should on advert bare in mind it comes with so many flaws..such as being cakey, heavy once applied and streaking after a few hours wearing. So this product is Not for me personally and I wouldn’t recommend it at all. There are far better foundation ls out there for much less of a cost!

No matter what shade i went with always found i ended up looking orange dispite loving other maybelline products this one is not worth the hassle of getting it to look appropriate.

Used it , wasn't memorable but definitely wasn't smooth. Wouldn't recommend. Still have it in my box after 3 years and still full.

First off, I will say this foundation is blendable. There is a wide range of shades. I did not feel the coverage was that great. I also felt that it didn't cover things like redness at the corners of my nose or under eye circles. Granted I don't even have bad circles. So I guess this would be a sheer to light coverage foundation.

I did like that the color matched my skin well. I even bought the next shade up just in case and it blended into my skin pretty well. It did feel velvety soft going onto my skin. It did even out my skin somewhat. However, then about two hours later, the make up started to slide off of my t-zone areas; forehead and nose, mainly.

For someone needing full coverage or even medium coverage, I would not recommend. For someone with an oily complexion, I would not recommend. However if you have normal skin and very little need for a foundation in the first place, you could use this for a little refinement.

I do believe that most people that wear foundation usually have a few things to cover though. Those with flawless skin usually do not care to wear foundation.

I had quite a few issues using this foundation. No matter how much I applied it always looked cakey and sat really bad around my nose area. So hard to blend and felt like it just sat on top of my skin. The colours I find even the lightest is far too dark and has an orange tint. Definately not good for pale girls. I ended up giving it to my friend who seemed to get similar results. It's just a cakey mess.

I really liked this product. Very thick and matte, covering all my imperfections. Doesnt actually last all day but for the price it is defintly worth it! Another drug store fav of mine

This one was a trial and error experience for me. The first time I used it, this ended up looking cakey, I figured I had put too much of it on. Take two , and I applied very little of it and did not really give me much coverage. Third time lucky, I got it to work for my face. The trick is to apply it sparingly but at the same time making sure each area is covered. I found that using my fingertips to massage this in works great and blends it into my skin.Great product for everyday use.

I've purchased this Foundation twice before but i didn't really like it. I thought i had got the right colour the first time but it ended up being too dark. It went quite cakey on my face, so i might have applied a bit too much, but it was just hard to tell how much to put on as it was quite thick. I am used to using liquid foundation, i find them easier to apply. It ended up quite patchy in places after awhile. The product is a good price and may work better on others, i just couldn't seem to get it looking nice on me.

Love the feeling of how airy and soft this foundation is. This foundation has a low coverage which I don't like either I think it's quite expensive for how littlw it does. Came off quite quickly in places and left me feeling patchy. It's alright but not my cup of tea. Good for someone who doesn't wear much makeup.
