NYX HD Photogenic Concealer Review

I don't mind this concealer but it does sink into my dry skin around my eyes which im not a fan of and i have noticed in the last couple of uses that it oxidises a little on my skin.

I was extremely surprised when I first tried this product out. I didnt have very high expectations because it was so cheap. I bought the colour Glow and it is the perfect highlight and concealer for under the eyes. The coverage is really good and it conceals most of my dark circles. It is definitely comparable to the Maybelline Fit Me concealer which I equally love. I will so be repurchasing this once it runs out.

I love this concealer. I have repurchased this item about 4 times in the past three months. It works so well as a highlighter, I am in the color nutmeg, and I use it to conceal under eye darkness and the shade tan/bronzè to have a highlight. They last long, creamy, and I just recommend it to every skin type.

I needed a new concealer and this caught my eye. I purchased it in 'Fair'.

I like the tube. It's sleek, you can see the product inside, and it fits snugly into my makeup stand. Not sure if I like the writing over all of the tube, but it doesn't get in the way of seeing the product inside so it's not that bad.

The applicator brush is a little doe foot, so you can use as much or as little as you need, and the brush is almost as long as the tube, so you can be sure that you can get most of the product at the bottom!

The formula is creamy, and it blends in really nicely, but sometimes on me it tends to fall into tiny wrinkles and stay there, or it cakes under my eyes and I have to give them a bit of a rub to get it to blend out properly. The shade is a near perfect match for me, so that's an added bonus, too!

I don't get overly dark eyes, but I do think it covers them pretty well, and it lasts most of the day if it has been set with a powder. Unless I find something else that's better but for the same price, I will most likely repurchase!

I've really been loving using this concealer. I don't have super bad skin so I don't really bother using it on spots as foundation seems to cover everything but I do use this under my eyes as there is a slight darkness to them.

I use the fair shade (this is slightly lighter then my skintone), and swipe a bit under each eye. I then use my finger to gently dab it in. I find this to have a great consistency, it is not too thin that it doesn't cover what it needs to. And it is also not to thick so it cakes. This does need to be set with powder to keep it lasting and looking fresh throughout the day though. I use Elf hd powder on my face and just make sure to get it under my eyes as well.

I've been using this for around 6 months and there is still some product left in the tube so I'm happy with that. I have used some other concealers in that time as well, but I'm glad that this one hasn't dried up in the tube.

I'm not totally sure if this would work for very dark undereyes or for big breakouts but for what I use it for, it is perfect. I will definitely re-purchase when I have run out. I got this on Beauty Joint, and I'm pretty sure it was under $10 so a good buy.

I used a whole tube of this concealer after buying it off beautyjoint.

I did like it, but can't say that it did wonders for me. I found the formula to be quite thin and didn't cover my dark under eye circles. I did like it as a brightener under my eyes or down the centre of my nose. I did find that it could become quite cake on the skin as it has a powdery finish once set.

I don't think I will repurchase this product as I have other concealers that work a lot better for me.

This is my holy grail concealer, before this it was my Mac Pro long wear concealer but I never reach for that anymore.

It comes in an applicator tube and you can use as much or as little as you need. I have a medium skin tone and this matches me perfectly. I like to apply this to the redness around my nose, under my eyes and on my chin, you need to work quickly as this sets into the skin quickly. Once it's on your skin it absorbs and hides all the redness, it turns into a powdery finish and there is no need to set with powder unless I am out for the whole day then I set it. The wear of this concealer is at least 6 hours, it works well in humidity and doesn't come off easily when touched.

I highly recommend this concealer, it is very cheap and high quality.

I got this recently when NYX were having a 40% off site wide sale. I have other concealers but wanted to try something new and this came highly recommended to me by a friend who is a makeup guru on youtube (biohazordousbeauty for those who are interested).

This has a doe foot applicator which makes applying it foolproof. I got the shade light - as I wanted something that was a little lighter than my skin tone to highlight with. This shade is perfect for that on my skin tone.

The concealer is very creamy and pigmented - it does a great job of concealing my dark under eye circles and highlighting my face. It is very easily blended out with my fingers or Real Techniques sponge (these are my fave methods), or with a brush.

Because this is so creamy I found that if I didn't set it with a powder it did slide off my face during the day. However, when I applied powder to the concealer it stayed put.

I will be repurchasing this when my current one runs out and I recommend this to anyone looking for a drugstore priced but high end performing concealer.

I ordered this concealer in the green shade because of I was desperate to tone down my crazy redness and it worked a treat! Blends well. I've used my fingers, a beauty blender and multiple brushes and they all work well- beauty blender being my preference. Would totally recommend it to anyone and everyone!
