Garnier BB Cream - Sensitive Review - Medium

The first thing I noticed about this BB cream is it's very thick texture and how it smells of some chemical. I usually used Korean BB creams like Lioele and this compared to the one I use, this one has less coverage - it makes my skin looks natural and dewy. I have acne-prone skin and this BB cream did not break me out so it is suitable for sensitive skin. Another good thing about this is that it doesn't accentuate the dry patches of skin on my face (a lot of other bb creams tend to do this). Overall this is an O-K bb cream but it's not one I would wear everyday because of it's light coverage.

I liked the sensitive BB cream. I put on a decent amount on to hide up my red patches (which is did really well!) and still barely felt like I had anything on my face! It didn't dry out my skin like some other products I have dried, and it didn't make me itchy at all! It was great! It gave a good cover, even in the area's where I needed a bit extra, and didn't look blotchy. So easy and nice to use!

I found with this product to get the extra staying power and coverage I needed, I did as the box said and waited for the first coat to dry and applied another and it gave me great cover but still not as much as I like.

It has a lovely thick mousse like texture and covers very well, I use it as a primer under my foundation to give me the extra coverage I need.

It goes on smoothly and blends very well,my skin looked a lot smother and more even, especially with the help of the beauty blender, I did find it was better not to use a moisturiser underneath otherwise it had blotchy coverage for me, I guess because the moisturiser I used is very thick. This cream is actually quite moisturising on my face, but doesn't leave you with a shiny face.

I haven't had any reactions from this product at all, I did get a little tingling feeling in my under eye area, so I just avoided this area all together and it's been fine since. This product isn't overly fragrance either.

I have used products with allantoin before and to me its honestly a miracle ingredient for reducing my redness, and this product was no different, disguised my redness perfectly.

Will definitely purchase again, and really love the fact it is SPF 15 aswell, an added bonus.

I had high hopes for this BB cream as it's meant for sensitive skin, and promises to soothe and hydrate the skin. Unfortunately, I doubt this BB cream would be suitable for those with very sensitive skin.

I suffer from eczema and have dry and sensitive skin. When I was trying this BB cream, my skin was better than usual, and I did not expect to have any issues with using the BB cream. When I applied it to my under eye area, my eyes watered and I could feel a stinging sensation. When I applied it to some drier areas on my face, those areas were stinging as well. I had applied the BB cream to a clean and moisturised face, although the instructions on the box implied you could apply it directly to clean skin. I dread to think how it would have been like for my skin if I had not moisturised beforehand.

This cream promises to reduce redness, soothes and provides 24-hour hydration, corrects blemishes, evens and illuminates, with UV protection. The only thing it actually did was even out my skin tone. It did not reduce the redness around my nose and mouth areas unless I applied a few more times on the same areas. Even then, the coverage is still pretty light. Same goes for any blemishes. Due to the creamy consistency of this BB cream, it did not feel dry when applied, but I wouldn't go as far as saying it soothed and hydrated my skin. As for UV protection, I can't say for sure as it hasn't been sunny enough for me to test out that aspect.

The cream was easy to apply (I used my fingers), and it was definitely fragrance free, but not very pleasant smelling. The smell of the cream is not strong though, so it wasn't really noticeable. The coverage was quite light, despite applying the cream a second time. If you tried to apply more for increased coverage, the finish becomes quite cakey.

The only thing I liked about this BB cream is that the medium shade matched my skin perfectly, although the colour of the cream appeared lighter than my skin when I first squeezed it out of the tube. I have used many different BB creams but have yet to find one that matched my skin as well as this Garnier one.

Personally, I wouldn't use this BB cream again. I often used my BB cream to conceal under eye dark circles and redness around my face, but this Garnier one couldn't do either. Although it did even out my skin tone and was a perfect shade for me, it irritated my akin even on a 'good' day, so I wouldn't be able to use it on a regular basis. It is a lot cheaper than the BB creams I've used in the past, but I rather pay more for something that is gentler on my skin.

Ive tried this product and it goes on the skin smoothly and is easy to blend. Ive tried etude, tony moly, shiseido, missha and smashbox BB creams before and this is the first drugstore bb cream ive used. I should say its not too bad for its price. It actually feels more like a tinted moisturiser than a bb cream to me, the coverage is very light and i find that i have to reapply it in areas where i have more blemishes cause it barely covers it up. I would still use it maybe for daily activities like running errands or doing the groceries but definitely not to work or on a night out.

I don't usually wear BB cream in winter as I feel like there is not enough coverage. This time I wore it under my foundation and not only is it a good way to save foundation, it gave me the coverage that I wanted. However, I do have fair skin and decided that medium would be best for me. I found it to go on easily and covers well, as for blemishes, I'm still not completely sure. My skin feels more hydrated than it usually would if I was just to use foundation. I'm not 100% sure how I feel about this particular BB cream. It is difficult to fully try this product out in winter as I like more coverage than this gives. I would be keen to try this in summer to see it at its full potential.

This is a great product, I have very sensitive skin, and find that the majority of products out there make my skin peel or a very least itchy. This cream was light, i used my hands to apply the product & found it easy to move around the face. The smell isn't that great , it reminds me of sunscreen. But thankfully the smell doesn't stay around long. It is a very light coverage cream. Due to that I was applying every 3 or 4 hours. The price is reasonable for what it does do, it did help the tiny red veins on my face and has a sunscreen in it which is a bonus. The packaging was'nt appealing to me at all, it looks to clinical. A more luxury designed box would help with the aesthetics. Overall it was an okay product.

The Garnier BB cream is really smooth easy to apply, a small splotch goes a long way, nice easy creamy smooth application. I defiantly love this product, My last bb cream was thick and left my face feeling really plastic like, but this cream it feels like a moisturiser and the toner in it covered up my blemishes and red dots a little and made it easier for me to use concealer and save me some in the process. It does not smell, it doesn't cake on I really like it. And the low SPF doesn't leave me with the shiny look on my face, I think I have found my forever BB cream! :)

I have temperamental and sensitive skin :) sometimes I can use anything and sometimes my skin reacts very angrily. My skin is quite clear aside from some dark under eye circles that I inherited. The BB cream was alot thicker than other BB Creams I've used but I quite liked this it made it feel a little bit more like a makeup than just a skin treatment. It smelt a little bit like sunscreen but again I quite like this it reminds me of summer. The colour was absolutely perfect on me I have trouble with BB creams being a little bit too orange for my very pale skin but this was spot on for me. It Is a very light coverage but it did leave my skin looking brighter and healthier and a bit shinier which I actually like it gives my skin a bit of a glow. I tried this over the week in different ways - On day 1 I tried it on its own and applied it like I would a moisturiser with my hands. Popped a little concealer on my dark circles for some coverage for a light makeup day. This lasted my work day before I thought it would need touching up. The second day I tested it as a primer underneath my double wear foundation, I moisturised and then used the bb cream with a blender sponge and double wear foundation over the top. This lasted all day and would have easily lasted into the night - was a fantastic primer really helped the makeup to last gave it a more flawless finish. The third day I used it on its own again but on my way to the gym (I hate to go totally naked its scary for everyone ). A bit of moisturiser then the BB cream. Help up ok after an hour of resistance training with moderate sweating . For the next day I thought I would try this as a foundation in conjunction with concealer and the rest of my face I would normally put on but set it with a mineral powder. This lasted really well and lasted my work day. It didnt seem to rub off or have any shine peeking through. All in all I really liked this product and will continue to use it as a primer for for full face days and as a face pick me up on days that Im not wearing makeup. I did have a slight issue under the eyes with this it did sting a little bit like sunscreen does near my eye area and did dry it out a little and give it a little ezcema. I stopped using it under my eye area and everywhere else was fine I would say my under eyes must be just that little bit more sensitive.

This BB cream is lovely and smooth to apply and has a nice scent, but when it's dried it leaves a sticky residue on my face which is not all that pleasant. I like to apply mineral powder after my BB, and my powder doesn't go on as smoothly as it does with other BBs. It's too thick and creamy for me. It's also way too oily for my skin. I do have a combination skin type of oily and sensitive, so it is hard to find a BB or moisturizer that works for both of these issues! I assume it's meant to have a matte finish, but it makes me look shiney and I prefer a powdery finish. I think it would still be good for people with sensitive skin as it did not irritate me. It seemed to last all day, however the coverage is light- too light for me, it blended nicely with my skin tone, and felt super lush and nourishing, but I probably wouldn't buy it again because I don't like looking this shiney! Perhaps I should try the one for combo skin types and see how that goes.. Price wise it's ok, but to be honest I'd rather pay another $5 ish and go back to my favourite that I know works for me!
