Garnier BB Cream - Sensitive Review - Medium

I tried out the sensitive skin bb cream this morning and I was surprised by the coverage. A little went a long way too. I asked my partner if my skin looked different from before and he reckoned it looked 'better without being makeuppy'. I had another look in the mirror and could see what he meant, my skin looked brighter and my complexion seemed smoother and less red. By the afternoon my persistent dry patches started reemerging (thats still pretty good going for my dry sensitive skin), but only noticeable close up by evening. After a few days of using it I am noticing my sensitivity is increasing and it is beginning to sting within 5 minutes of applying and going away within about an hour if I can hack it. Hopefully this goes away and I am able to continue using it because I'm otherwise pleased with the results.

I got this in medium tone and it went well with my olive toned skin. I absolutely love this product, I have dry sensitive skin and this BB cream went over my skin smoothly. It's a light coverage and I loved that I didn't have to use powder to set it. I love that there is near to no scent, it has a tinge of medicated scent but nothing over powering. It's has 4-5 hr staying power and very little fall out. I use the other Garnier BB cream that's not made for sensitive skin and it ends up smudging on things around me but found with this BB Cream, it didn't happen. My new fave! Thank you

I have tried the normal and anti-agining Garnier BB cream before and they are my favourite amongst other brands. The sensitive version is also being added to the list.

I prefer the sensitive one to the other garnier bb creams I have tried: it doesn't seem to dry out as much on my skin nor feel as heavy.

I tend to apply it like a moisturiser and then I put my powder foundation over top. It does not give enough coverage for me to feel as if I could wear it instead of foundation (although it is fine for a day off!). I like wearing it under powder foundation as it sets nicely and lasts all day for me.

Having reasonably sensitive skin I had no issues with using this product: no redness, tightness of skin, dryness or any irritation. I like the packaging as it fits nicely in a handbag/makeup bag but lasts long enough.

Overall, happy with this product and would use it again!

Hi, I am used to a heavier coverage BB Cream. I found it easy to apply with no streakyness. But it didn't cover up by blemishes. It didn't irritate my skin though which was good. I did use it with a primer underneath and also with out. Both applications lasted all day long. The product smells nice and fresh but doesn't linger so I found that great. The packaging looks very attractive. I would use it again when I don't have any blemishes to hide.

This product was a very light and refreshing formula, and it is a great colour for me. It does not give very much coverage, but then again most bb creams do not anyway. Throughout the day, the lasting power of this bb cream is not the best, however is it very very easy to top up, and you need very minimal product to cover your face which is a bonus. I also liked how this product does not cling to the dry spots that I have on my face.

In terms of the sensitive skin aspect of this BB cream, it worked perfectly, as I has no reaction to this BB cream at all! This was great, as I usually have reactions to face products like this around my eyes, but it didn't happen with this product, so I would recommend it to anyone with the same skin sensitivity. I also did not notice this BB Cream causing break outs.

I have experimented applying this bb cream with both a brush and also with just my fingers. Although I preferred the brush finish, this BB cream is still suitable to apply on the go with out a brush which I was impressed with. The product blends out well, and leaves a great, almost dewy finish on the skin. The smell is pleasant and fresh, and I feel like it would be a perfect substitute to foundation or tinted moisturiser in the summer months, also because it has added SPF. Overall, this is a great product, and I would definitely consider repurchasing it once I have used my current one!

I have oily/breakout prone skin, and BB Cream has always worked in my favour for this. I love how BB Cream gives me enough coverage to hide imperfections, without being as thick as foundation can be.

When I first opened this up I was a little wary, as it had a thick foundation like texture, and it smelt a lot like foundation too. But it went on my skin flawlessly, and acted just like a BB Cream. The scent was gone almost instantly, and the coverage was definitely not like a foundation. I put this on at about 8am in the morning, and it's now 6pm and it still looks just like it did when I put it on. It's light, and I can't feel it on my face, which was nice because my biggest fear was that it was going to be thick and uncomfortable to wear. I didn't wear any concealer underneath, but it's definitely hidden any redness, and it makes my skin look uniform and flawless. I love it.

I am not a huge fan of this stuff at all. I received the Sensitive/Light version after and it was both too orange for me and made my skin burn. My skin isn't extremely sensitive so I was surprised that it reacted in this way.

It smells overwhelmingly like sunscreen and feels greasy on my skin. I took it off about five minutes after putting it on because I was concerned about the burning sensation it caused.

I would not buy this or recommend it to a friend, but I have heard good things about the oily version. I have tried both the Missha and Lioele BB creams and both of them are far superior to this poor excuse for a tinted sunscreen.

First of all this BB cream definitely did what it said it would. It was very gentle on my skin and I had no problems causing any irritation.

The coverage of the BB cream was very good in my opinion. BB creams are usually used for everyday use or just as a light coverage which I found it definitely delivered on.

After wearing it for a few hours it did become a little bit patchy around dry areas of my skin so I used it with a primer and this problem was minimized.

The packaging of this product is very sleek and I think it looks very aesthetically pleasing and professional. The tube is a squeeze tube which squeezes out of the bottom, it can be hard to not squeeze out too much though so only squeeze a little bit.

The texture of the BB cream is very nice. It is very smooth but not too runny so you don't feel like you are just putting a light moisturizer on. It is very creamy also.

After applying it with my fingers and with a brush I decided it is easier to get a more even coverage by using a brush as it does not blend very easily with fingers because of the creamy texture.

I am very happy with the fact that it has SPF as it is good to wear just as a light coverage during the day and not have to worry about sunscreen as well.

My skin is quite oily and I'm very sensitive to any fragrance so I love that it is fragrance free, it actually has no smell at all, not that weird chemically smell that some fragrance free products can have.

The consistency is thick like a foundation but when I smoothed it on my face it felt like a moisturiser and as cliche as it sounds I honestly felt like I wasn't wearing any makeup.

The coverage is not as much as a foundation but more than a tinted moisturiser and it lasts all day which surprised me. My skin felt hydrated all day too although I was a bit shiny by the end of the day. I probably need the oil free version, if only they made it in a fragrance free version!

The packaging is nothing special but it is practical, you don't accidently squeeze too much out and since it's a tube you're not sticking your fingers in it so it's hygienic.

Of the 5 claims on the front of the box I would say it delivers on 4 of them (reduces redness, hydrates, illumintes, decent SPF) but fails on the correcting blemishes part, there isn't enough coverage for that, I still needed my concealer.

The first day I used this I used it in place of my moisturiser and foundation and it lasted the whole day. The 2nd day I did the same but it was a warmer day and my face got a bit shiny so I had to powder it. The 3rd day I used it over top of my moisturiser and it was just too greasy. And today I put it on as soon as I woke up and wow, that's when I was most impressed, going from just woke up face to instantly healthy and illuminated!

I would say it is value for money because you only need a small amount of it to cover your face and neck so one tube will last for ages.

I would recommend this product. It is great to use when you don't want that feeling of foundation on your face but you still want coverage but you will still need concealer for problems like blemishes or under eye circles.

I was lucky enough to try this alongside Garnier BB cream for oily skin because I wanted to see which one worked better for me. I have fairly oily skin and it is sensitive to creams and foundations that are heavily scented. so I thought this product would work perfectly for me. It comes in a fairly large tube, similar to a tube of lotion. It has a slight fragrance, but I actually find it quite pleasant. It has a thicker cream consistency, which is quite misleading becauae when you apply it to your skin it turns to a much more runny consistency.

The problem came when I applied it. It offers little to no coverage. I have somewhat problematic skin, and was basically just hoping this would smooth out my skin tone a little bit. Unfortunately, immediately after I applied it, I saw that it accentuated every flaw, although I can say it did cover my redness. It applied very unevenly and made my skin look extremely shiny. I wouldn't have minded the dewiness if it had even a little coverage, but all it did was make me shiny on top of making blemishes stand out more. It never truly sets into your skin, either, but remains kind of sticky and wet. Setting with a powder doesn't help either, because the consistency of the cream does not mesh well with powder. 

To anyone looking to try a Garnier BB cream, I would definitely recommend the oily skin formula over this one, even if you have dry skin. If you moisturize and don't use a powder, it doesn't make your skin look dry but rather gives you a nice matte finish.

One thing it did have was it didn't irritate my skin at all which I loved. When I usually buy foundations or moisturizing creams it leaves my skin with a tingling feeling and can cause a lot more redness but this BB cream was very mild which is great.
