Garnier BB Cream - Sensitive Review - Medium

I've previously tried about four other BB creams, none of which were even close to my skintone, most were too dark or too orange, however this one is almost perfect! It's definitely for light skin tones, with a slightly pink undertone. I wear ivory in Revlon foundations, and I'm slightly lighter than MAC NW15. The consistency of the BB is thick at first but it does blend nicely to a thin layer. It does feel slightly oily however it doesn't give your skin an oily finish. The coverage is sheer, it definitely evens out skin tone, but doesn't cover spots, so it's perfect for good skin days, or under foundation on problem areas. It does rub off a bit by the end of the day when worn alone. It has a slight smell to it, almost like a sunblock, but you can't smell after application. My skin is quite sensitive, other BB's have made by skin itchy or quite red after wearing it for a few hours, thankfully it was not the case this time, no sort of irritation whatsoever!!! I am super pleased with this BB and will continue to purchase it once I have run out!

I have super dry skin, so I skipped my usual moisturising routine as I wanted to see how moisturizing the actual product was. I found that the formula was super hydrating, and hide a majority of my large pores. Foundation tends to sit on top of my pores and make them look extra big; the Garnier bb cream glided over and filled in the pores, and made them less visible. The bb cream itself is liquid to mouse consistency, and I found it easy to use on my face. I tried two different techniques to applying the bb cream, the first method I just used my fingers to apply it, this worked quite well, however, I preferred using my flat top brush as it blended more efficiently. The bb cream had a strong smell of sun block, however I did not mind this, as it made me feel protected by the sun during the day. This product will be great for summer! The coverage was light to medium, and I prefer full coverage as I have large pores and a lot of redness. I decided to use this instead of my primer, and teemed it up with my Mac Fix Fluid, and it was amazing! It covered everything, and had a dewy appearance. This is definitely my new daily routine! I found the product only lasted 5 hours or so on its own. I am a mum to a two year old, so he is constantly grabbing my face, so that could be the reason why the cream did not last long. The packaging is great, it fits in my makeup holder along with my other face products. The product did correct some of my redness and hid most of my pores, so I do believe that it lived up to its promise. I also loved that it had more coverage than a tinted moisturiser. I have recommended this product to my mum, who needs this sort of product as she is a nurse. Needless to say I will be re purchasing.

I have sensitive, oily/combination skin. I got this product in Light which matches my pale, cool-toned complexion pretty well. It is perhaps half a shade too orange, but not enough to worry about.

Application: The packaging is a squeeze tube which is easy and hygienic. The product goes on well with just fingers, but I did buff it in afterward to blend well around the hairline. Upon application, this had that sunscreen smell about it, but after a few minutes I couldn't smell it anymore.

Finish: When first applied, this gave my skin a dewey finish. But it dried down after 10 minutes to a more natural finish. Although, as I have oily skin, I prefer a more matte finish. The coverage is sheer. It evens out the skin tone, but doesn't do a great job of covering blemishes.

Final thoughts: I will use this on "lazy days" when I just want quick and easy light coverage. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin and does a good job of evening skin tone/redness.

I was given the sensitive trial which suits as I have sensitive but also oily/combo skin. I found this was really good as it provided moisture without being too oily and felt like a primer as it glided on when I applied it (with my fingers). It has a nice, subtle fragrance and it lasts quite well probably 6 hours? But while the consistency seemed like it might provide a bit of coverage as it felt similar to my Bobbi Brown BB cream, it provided very sheer coverage, and didn't hide any of my blemish scars or redness. For that reason I feel it doesn't really live up to the miracle skin name, but I would probably still recommend it to a friend looking for a good budget BB cream :)

I have combination skin, with an oily Tzone and normal to dry for the rest of my face. This cream is lightweight, and creamy in texture. It comes out of the tube without a mess and easy to apply. I applied by dotting all over face and neck, then rubbing it in. This BB cream is unscented and light in coverage. It does cover redness, and hydrates my skin all day but I still see my blemishes after applying which are my pores and a few fine lines. The packaging looks nice, and is easy to use. I would recommend this product more to someone who has no blemishes, or doesn't mind applying powder on top of their BB cream. For the most part I enjoy this product, and it would be nice to have a shade in-between the light and medium.

I have sensitive, combination and recently quite acne prone. I am very fair - nw10.

I found this product extremely oily, sheer and most of all it was bright orange on my face. I got the colour "light" which is not really light at all unfortunately :(

I really wanted to like this product because I use Garnier pore filler and dark spot corrector everyday and I love them! But this one just fell flat.

I applied it with my fingers and with a brush and neither of them worked. My face looked neon orange - my boyfriend commented on it straight away. Quite embarrassing.

The formula felt very very thin. Maybe I am just used to Korean BB products are are quite thick but this one was very very sheer.

The smell, normal Garnier kind of smells - not too bad. Didn't seem as strong though.

Overall, this product isn't for me. But my mum does love her one (the anti-aging BB)

Appreciate the opportunity to sample it though - I probably would have picked it up in store anyways.

It is such a nice light weight bb cream, seems to last all day and so happy with it. I usually put it over primer and put a powder over it as well but a few times esp if I'm in a rush I just put it on and it still lasts well no matter if I'm mowing the lawns, walking downtown and back or at home with my daughter.

I have used this BB cream every day for a week now. So far I'm really loving it. It gives nice light coverage (which I love for every day), is a great match to my fair complexion (this is always a struggle) and has SPF (a must!). I'm not sure that it has reduced my redness, but it certainly hasn't made it worse. I also haven't had any itchiness or discomfort round my eye area or neck (where my skin is most sensitive to irritation) so for sensitive skin it's a winner! Another aspect I enjoy about this formula is that my t-zone hasn't been oily at the end of the day like it is with other products. It glides onto your skin easily and blends out flawlessly. A little goes a long way too. I tried applying it a couple of different ways and fingers is definitely best. The finish wasn't as nice with a brush. However, I do still like to use a brush after fingers to blend my hairline. I have used the other two Garnier BBs and this is my absolute favourite by far. I honestly love it and will repurchase.

My skin, especially since the birth of my son, seems to be more sensitive and I have to be careful with what I choose to put on it, especially for everyday wear. I was definitely excited to try the Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream for Sensitive Skin. Upon squeezing it out of the tube I was a bit surprised at both colour and consistency; the cream appearing both darker and more liquid than I had expected. However, smoothing this on my skin, it was clear that this was an appropriate formulation as it blended in well, enhancing my natural skin tone. It is definitely a sheer cover, but perfect for the natural-but-better look I'm hoping for when I venture out with my little one. I found I could put this on first thing in the morning and it would last all day, although I would reapply if heading out again in the evening. The packaging is typical of a Garnier product, clearly labelled and simplistic. Do be cautious when squeezing out of the tube, it is easy to give yourself more than you need. This left my skin with a beautiful even tone (hiding even the redness from a cold) and my skin looked much clearer even when cleansed - other cream covers can sometimes leave me with redness and pimples. I recommend this BB cream to anyone who has perhaps struggled with finding one that doesn't feel too harsh on their skin. I'm not afraid to snuggle up to my baby boy with this on! At a relatively cheap price point it's not going to break the bank either.

I have never really enjoyed BB creams. They were always far too orange for my skin tone, and made me look oily. However, i enjoy this BB cream. I have it in the shade light, which is a reasonably good match for my skin tone! It will be a summer BB cream though for me. The coverage is what I expect for a BB cream, so not enough for me. But on a good day I could possibly just use this and a powder, but that is also to be expected! It is nowhere near as shiny as the first garnier BB cream I tried, but still has a shine factor, which I tone down with powder. Overall, I quite enjoy this product, and it looks like it is good value for money! The packaging is great, and I will definitely be using this in the summer months to come.
