Garnier BB Cream - Sensitive Review - Medium

I was so excited to be part of this trial after buying the medium version and finding it too dark for my skin. I find the light a bit too light however I have been wearing it daily for the last week and a little bronzer over top makes it look great. I like that it has no smell and is easy to apply, I did find it a little runny and am not a big fan of the tube opening as its hard to get the right amount out. I wouldn't say it gives a flawless finish a lot of my red spots and dark circles still show through but it does even out skin tone and is a nice light cover for days when you don't want to cake on makeup I have always been a fan of tinted moisturisers rather than foundation anyway. I think it would also be great as a foundation base too. Has been great for my sensitive skin which flares up with a lot of products so far no problems at all with this and my skin is nice and soft. A few more colour variations in the product would be nice.

I thought it was fab! I have used many BB creams, some great and some not so much, I would rate this one pretty high on the list. The only problem I had was it was a bit "glossy" for me. I ended up popping a quick powder puff over my face to avoid looking like I just walked out of the shower. Felt great on my skin and perfect for everyday use, lightweight and helped even out my horrid patchy skin.

I was pleasantly surprised by this product. It's one BB cream that didn't disappoint me for a change. The consistency of the product is pretty thick, but it gives medium build able coverage. As I have sensitive skin myself I found this product doesn't irritate my skin, and reduces my redness a lot. It's the type of product that yo can wear on its own or under foundation for extra coverage. I have dry skin and this product stayed put for 4-5 hours without budging so I would recommend it for dry skin. For around $15 retail it's a bargain for the amount of product you get. The light shade was actually light unlike many other BB creams where the light shade is more of a medium. Highly recommend this and would repurchase in future.

This is the first BB cream I have ever tried and I'm in love!

Having reasonably sensitive skin I'm alway a bit dubious about trying new products especially from brands that are the lower end of the market. My skin is also quite fair so even the slightest irritation can cause patchiness, so most days I will have either areas of redness of dryness.

The consistency of this was a lovely creaminess that felt velvety to apply. I applied it with my fingertips and and it glided on effortlessly, it felt instantly hydrating and had a beautiful smooth non-greasy finish. There was no fragrance at all which I loved as I often find the fragrance in some beauty products to be overpowering.

It had the perfect finish for a natural no makeup look with a slight illumination which gave my skin a very even healthy looking glow. A few times I applied it twice to get a slightly fuller coverage yet it didnt feel any heavier at all and still looked lovely and natural. I also occasionally used it as a foundation base which I loved. It primed my skin perfectly, evened out the tone and had a fabulous finish for applying foundation on top of.

I couldn't believe how well this lasted on my skin- all day! even after a hard workout my skin still looked great, it didnt split or feel greasy when I perspiration which I absolutely loved.

The price point of this is fantastic, personally I find it to be very affordable, especially considering its skincare AND make up a in one .

The pakaging is pretty basic but that's what I would expect for the price point. The tube was hand and easy to use, again pretty basic but I didn't expect anything fancy.

The results of this trial by far surpassed my expectations. I wasn't too sure about using this instead of my high end moisturiser for the week but I must say I'm impressed! My skin has been a lot calmer and feels lovely and soft. I also found the makeup aspect of it to be better than I expected.

I would absolutely recommend it to a friend.

I enjoyed the consistency of this BB cream not to thick but not to thin either. I used mine underneath a foundation but found my skin became quite oily during the day so wouldnt reccomend to use as a moisturizer under foundation, I then wore it alone and it gave a nice natural glow great for people who dont like a full coverage makeup nice and hydrating :)

I liked the consistency of this bb cream it was abit more coverage then I'm used to. So will mostly mix mine with moisturizer. It has a pleasant smell. It suits my sensitive skin so I'm loving that. The price is reasonable what's not to love about this? Nothing

I've heard a lot about BB creams and always thought they were like tinter moisturizer and never given them a go.

My first impression when I looked at this box to be very over whelming. It's got quite a lot of information on all 4 sides of the box. The tube is the prefect size to fit into your gym bag or make up bag without taking up too much room. I love the fast it's not a screw top lid.

I wanted to see if this lived up to what it really says it does, so wore it in place of my daily foundation.

I squeeze out a small amount in 3 equal portions to cover my face. The smell is strange but not over powering and doesn't last. It glides on silky smooth and coverage is light but build-able. Even though it has a light coverage it covers imperfections, those noticeable frown lines that stand out when looking work place bathroom mirror less visible. I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't leave my skin shinny and didn't slide off leaving my skin looking tired and shiny.

This is my new go to and will be perfect when traveling.

I have really sensitive skin when it comes to be creams and foundation, and this one didn't cause any irritation at all. It is a creamy consistency not too thick. And because of the creamyness it is easy to apply I used my fingers and it blended in well to my skin. I used it on its own and it provided the sheer coverage I like, evened out my skin tone. It stayed on until the end of the day I didn't need to reapply during work which is great. The packaging was OK it comes in a tube and the hole is quite small which I really loved so I could easily squeeze the right amount out so your not wasting heaps. I would definitely buy this again considering the price and made my skin more even.

I have fair and very dry skin, so I trialed the Sensitive skin light tone BB cream. Dryness is a big issue for me so I was interested to see how this product would work for my skin as it was meant to be intensely hydrating and replace my regular moisturiser. Unfortunately, it wasn't the solution for me, making my dry skin more noticeable than usual, especially on my forehead. After the first few trials, I started applying the BB cream about half an hour after using my usual moisturiser and had a lot more success- I noticed my skin appeared significantly more even and helped to reduce the redness on my face. I also had no issues with sensitivity, which I usually get when trying out new products.

The cream itself is very smooth and is easy to apply, I just used my fingers and was able to get an even, sheer coverage with no problems at all. The scent of the SPF15 is very obvious, which I found a little offputting as I'm not a huge fan of that sunblock smell, but it's a good reassurance that my skin is being protected! When I was wearing just the cream, I found myself wanting to reapply it during the day, lasting around 4-6hours at most.

The squeeze tube of the packaging made it really easy to use and get out just the right amount, minimising wastage. It's not the prettiest packaging, but the simplicity of it gets the job done and it's a great size. It's good value for money too, it gives a great natural look really quickly and easily, and could be used instead of a primer or concealer. Also it's interesting to note that Vogue rated it among their top 10 BB creams, and it was the second cheapest!

I was fortunate enough to be sent this to trial from BR. I have previously tried the normal one and briefly the anti-aging one (which I bought in medium which was too dark so I gave it away.) I've tried a few BB creams from other brands and Garnier has so far been my favourite. Starting with the packaging it has a lot of information including a full ingredient list. It claims to reduce redness, correct blemishes, even skin tone and illuminate while being soothing and offering 24hr hydration. My skin type is dry and sensitive. This product has no scent which is the first thing I check for when a product is claiming to be for sensitive skin. I found that although this was moisturising it wasn't quite moisturising enough. The first day I tried It I applied it with my fingers. The coverage is even and reduces some redness but entirely. The colour is nice and natural. No orange tone. I also found a dusting of mineral powder over the top was a nice effect. I tried this next as a primer under regular foundation. It gave a dewy complexion which is OK but I do prefer matte. This is truly illuminating in that sense. I really like this either alone or with mineral powder. This is not irritating my sensitive skin so Im pleased with that but neither did the normal Garnier one. Overall I am enjoying this BB cream and will more than likely repurchase, although may try the anti aging one also but buy the light colour next :)
