Garnier BB Cream - Sensitive Review - Medium

My skin type is really sensitive and dry, especially in winter time. The consistency of the BB cream is thick as well as creamy. It is easy to apply with fingers as well as a brush. Personally I did not like the smell very much it is somewhat of a foundation smell. I could smell it the whole day I wore it. Yucky! It is more of a sheer rather than a full coverage, after all it is just a cream not a foundation. It has a matte finish but what I saw on my face was that I could see some powdery bits around my nose area. It does not last that long. If you’re thinking to wear it for 24 hours I wouldn’t recommend this product. The price is $17.49 at The Warehouse. Compared to the cream I use which is $15.99 at the same place I would not buy this BB cream if I had a choice from them two. For me it is not worth the money. It does make it easy to use the right amount, I give the packaging 5/5. After using this product for about 5-6 days, I would keep using it as it does even my skin tone and reduces the redness on my face. But I would not use it for an everyday thing, the main reason for that is that it does not smell nice first of all. Secondly it makes my skin look dry around my nose area. As mentioned on the box the BB cream does these things: -Reduces redness (It defiantly does reduces redress on the face) -Soothes and 24 hour hydration (Does not stay for 24 hours) -Corrects blemishes (Does correct blemishes) -Evens and illuminates (Does even the skin tone) -UV protection SPF 15 I would recommend it to is it does do the things is says it would. But it would depend of your skin type, my skin did not suit it that much around my nose area. Well everyone has different skin so I would recommend you to try this BB Cream!

My skin is usually combination and can be quite sensitive and blotchy. I noticed that after applying the BB cream my complexion was much more even and smooth. The cream was really light and went on well with just using my fingers. It had a pleasant smell and texture. I had the 'light' colour which suited my skin tone well. The coverage is quite sheer but does do well in mattifying and evening out your skin. I have quite dark inner eyes so I would need to use concealer with the product. Overall the product is affordable and does what it says, would definitely recommend for a light day-time look.

I got the Garnier BB Cream for Sensitive Skin in the Medium shade. As a tanned slightly-yellow-toned Asian, the shade suited me perfectly. It looked like it had melted into my skin when I first dabbed some on and I sort of had to angle my face to see where the blob was to blend it out. So I was extremely happy about the shade.

I've never used BB cream before (although I did go out and get a Maybelline one for comparison) so the deep colour in the tube was kind of startling. I don't use foundation either, but I think BB cream is a great introduction to using foundation-like products. It gave really good coverage: not too much, but enough to blend out a lot of my flaws.

It smells rather strongly of foundation though, like when you get close to those ladies who've caked themselves in the stuff, which I didn't particularly like. It also isn't that easy for my skin to breathe through it either (compared to another BB cream I tried) so I don't think I'd use it for everyday. However, it does make your skin look all dewy and glowing and amazing.

My main concern was that it was not really kind to my sensitive skin. I have eczema so I'm really sensitive to abrasive products and itchy fabrics and so on. After a few days of using it, I definitely felt a bit itchy and as if the unbreathable layer was smothering my skin and I got a slight eczema breakout or two on my chin area. The strong powdery/foundationy smell that I mentioned before is also kind of offputting. The BB cream did a great job of covering my flaws but it's not comfortable enough to use for everyday.

I also found it didn't last very long in humid/rainy times, so take the tube out with you to replenish halfway through the day.

It's a great BB cream and I had so much fun trying this kind of thing out for the first time, but not for everyday use in my opinion. It is definitely a great light foundation substitute for that "naturally beautiful" look.

I was very interested to have been asked to review BB Cream from Garnier - Miracle Skin Protector for sensitive skin. I have been using similar products from different brands. The BB Cream is my favorite so far. The first advantage is that I don't have to apply moisturizer underneath the BB Cream. The BB cream is very light and penetrates the skin immediately, automatically reducing redness and showing a perfect skin with only half a pea size amount of cream. I have applied BB Cream for work. It is currently Winter and the office I work in is very dry, but my skin stays well hydrated and feels comfortable with the BB Cream. I have also worn the BB Cream for my runs. I usually don't wear make up when I go running, but thought I would give it a try, I was pleased the cream didn't run down my face and actually allowed my skin to breathe. It was an advantage as well that the BB Cream as a UV Protection SPF 15. The price of the product is reasonable for a 50ml tube. The packaging is pleasant and not overwhelming; the cardboard and instructions can be easily recycled, which is a bonus. The negatives I encountered are the smell of the cream and how quickly the cream comes out . The cream is fragrance-free but it smells like wet wood. Luckily the smell doesn't last long enough to be unpleasant. Since only a small amount is needed to apply, it would be worth to have a smaller opening to avoid too much cream coming out of the tube with one light squeeze. I have very sensitive skin and would recommend the BB Cream to my friends. It lives to its expectations. It's an all-in-one cream that gives instantly perfect skin and reduces redness.

I've always been curious to try BB Cream, and was a bit apprehensive at first as to how my skin, which can sometimes be quite sensitive, would react. This product was/ is great. It did not feel cakey on my face, and made my make up last all day. I thought the shade might have been a bit too dark for me, even though it was the lightest one possible haha, but it looked quite natural on and I prefer it to my foundation. Will definitely be continuing to use this product.

I have been trialling this product for a week now and I am very impressed! As a beauty therapist I get the opportunity to use more expensive products so I haven't used a drug store BB cream in a while but I really liked this product. There wasn't much of a smell to this product which I did really like as I have quite sensitive skin so I don't like a product to have a strong scent. Quite often my face will go a little rashy and itchy with some product so I have to watch what I use, but with this product I didn't get any of that so it is really good for someone with sensitive skin. I found this product to be very light, a did think at first that it was a watery but once it is on your face and set you can keep applying for more coverage. The bonus of this product is a little bit goes a long way which is fantastic! I used this under my foundation and on it's on and both times I thought this product definitely lasted a few hours. It did even out my skin tone like it said it would. The packaging of this product is good, small enough to carry around in your hand bag if you need a top up during the day. Overall great product I am very impressed! And would definitely use this product again.

I have been using the product every day since I received it 2 weeks ago. I love the way its smooth and easy to apply. It has good coverage, more than adequate for day time use, although if I used it in the evening (which I did), I needed to put something a little darker over troublesome areas for further cover. I felt the product did what it said it did and provides reasonable coverage, particularly for every day use. I would recommend

This is the first BB Cream I have used on my dry, sensitive skin that doesn't A. Sting or burn B. Go patchy on dry places and C. Make me go red!

I absolutely love it! It is really moisturising and the colour pay off is great too. It gives you some coverage while still looking natural and makes your skin feel great.

I also love how it doesn't have much of a smell to it.

I received the Sensitive cream in medium. My skin type is very sensitive, and i suffer from eczema around my eyes, ears, neck and chin. My skin is usually quiet dehydrated and i find some "tinted" creams dry it out so i was super excited to try this out. After doing my normal morning routine before work (cleanse, moisturise) I put the cream on my hands. It was a lot thicker than i expected but being SPF its normal. The smell reminded me of sun cream (obviously...). I applied it just like i would my moisturiser (instructions on packet suggests this), it went on smoothly and evenly and didnt feel heavy at all. A few disappointments with coverage. I have a lot of redness and found it didnt cover this as much as i liked, so i applied a 2nd light layer and still wasnt to me desire. It evened out my skin tone in places and didnt in others (that i would have liked). I found half way through my day at work it would start clumping around my nose area and if I tired to smooth it out this made it worse. It kept my skin very hydrated but it only lasted about 3/4 of the day. Overall its good if you want a light cover or I would use as a primer/undercoat for your normal foundation.

I received this product in the trial and I have tried this product for 7 days now, I instantly noticed the colouring was really off for me, I am an NC15 by mac and the colour was quite orange on me and too dark sadly.

The consistency of the product is quite thick looking when you first get it out of the tube, but when you apply it to your skin it has a strong silicone feeling. I have dry skin so I find that silicone products work for me and don't tend to slip around my face, as for imperfections that it covered since it was too dark for me I didn't want to put too much on incase I looked silly, but it did have good coverage for the small amount I put on.

I didn't like the effect that it had on my eyebrows, it made them go orange and stuck into my brow hairs.

I do have sensitive skin and I found that this didn't break me out or irritate my skin which is really good.

I have tried this with a powder over top but with the colouring being too dark for me it still didn't look the greatest - I think if they brought out a lighter colour than light it'd be awesome and i'd love to wear it all the time, I find it's probably better for summer as it has the SPF so I may have to try it again when I am fake tanned in summer.
