Good product

This sensitive bb cream is great. It blends very easy into my skin the light shade was a perfect match for my skin color. I did not get any irritation on my skin thanks to the fragrance free solution. I do need to put a powder over top to reduce the shine on my face, but this bb cream is very moisturizing and does not need a primer or moisturizer underneath. I prefer a thicker solution to a thin runny one as it prevents me from making a mess. I would definitely wear this bb cream everday to cover any imperfections as it has good coverage and it lasts right up until the end of the day. I would definitely use this product again.

Tips: Use a sponge or a beauty blender to blend in the bb cream. Using a sponge saves you from getting messy hands if you normally apply it with your fingers and using a sponge gives you a nice even finish without any missing spots or harsh lines.

my skin looks gorgeous

I trialed the BB Cream light sensitive. I have normal to dry skin, get the odd pimple and have signs of aging as I'm in my mid thirties. The packaging is simple and clear. Very easy to understand and explains what the product does and how to use. The product squirts out gently which is great, so I'm not wasting product. I thought first that it looked very thick and was put off a bit, until I put on my face. I was impressed. Instead of it been thick it was actually a light creamy consistency and spread around my face beautifully and evenly. I can't put my finger on what it smells like. It is bland. Not unpleasant and doesn't make my skin smell. The coverage was perfect for me. It was light to medium coverage. It covered my lines and blemishes, but could still see my freckles which I love because my skin still looks natural, but flawless at the same time. Throughout the day my skin didn't feel heavy with makeup and it lasted the entire day. At the end of the day my skin did feel a little more oily but I liked that because of it been dry naturally. My skin had a really healthy glow. I love the fact it has sun cream in it and I don't need to put a separate sun cream on. The price is fantastic. Compared to the higher end BB creams this does what they do just without the massive price tag. After using this for just over a week, my skin is feeling very soft and I haven't broken out. I want to keep using it to see what other fantastic benefits it has on my skin. I will be buying this from now on and getting for my family.

Tips: I tried using this a few ways and I found the nicest and best way to apply was to moisturiser first. Wait till that sinks into skin, then prime and then pop on BB Cream. When I moisturised and then put on the BB Cream straight after, around my hairline and jaw it flaked a bit if I rubbed in.

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream -Sensitive

This product was very easy to apply - it went on very smoothly and evenly and was long lasting. Without fragrance - which is great as fragrance can be a factor in skin irritation . The colour was slightly too dark for my winter skin (medium) but probably would be ideal in summer. It did even out my complexion, but I required a finishing powder as I looked quite shiny , I didn't need any moisturiser underneath. This product would be fabulous for a dry /sensitive skin. I did enjoy wearing this product, it definitely didn't irritate my skin, which can be prone to reaction. Overall I liked but didn't love!

Tips: If your skin is sensitive but slightly oily I would skip the moisturiser before applying the BB cream and powder over top.

cured me of my redness!

I found Garnier miracle skin perfector BB cream - sensitive to like silk to apply and very easy to spread evenly. I found after four days my skin was so ultra smooth and my redness was gone. A negative I found was it made a patch of dry skin above my eye flakey which was very embarrassing and was asked if I had dandruff :( I think at $17.49 RRP I would definitely be willing to purchase again to use for a longer period of time to see what difference it would make to my skin. The smell was quite pleasant and didn't bother me which is nice. Usually my skin is very dry and red is the driest places but the redness certainly improved so it did what it says it will do. The surprising thing is after I workout at the gym and shower it isn't affected by sweat afterward and stays on unlike most. The coverage is pretty good and hides my problem areas except it made a patch really flakey as I said above. For the money you pay I would definitely buy it and is worth the money paid. I would recommend it to anyone with sensitive skin whos looking for a value for money product that does what it says it will.

Tips: Use a facial scrub or exfoliant before applying to achieve best even coverage.

Good for very light coverage

This BB cream has a strange gel-cream consistency that I felt didn't sit on my skin very well and also made it a bit harder to spread evenly. Although this did mean that it felt lighter than normal BB creams as it was less creamy. As I do have quite a bit of acne scars, it wasn't that great at concealing those but overall it did give me a slightly more even skin tone. It smells quite strongly of sunscreen which I didn't really like. Doesn't last long throughout the day as my skin did get shiny about midday and had to touchup. This product would be good for people with normal skin who really would just want a more evened out skin tone.

BB the perfect match?

I have never tried BB cream before, so was excited to try this! I have sensitive and combination skin. I find it hard to find a moisturiser for my face, as a lot of products cause inflammation easily. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I applied this BB cream that it didn't cause redness, swelling, breakouts, itchiness or splotchiness. However when i removed it, I noticed some redness in my cheeks (brighter and redder than usual and more spread out)- which usually occurs if I react to a product, so perhaps I did react to it as it was on my face the whole day. :( However, it was a mild reaction.

When I first applied this BB cream, I used my fingers with only moisturiser underneath. The consistency was quite creamy, not too thick or too thin and easy to spread. It felt smooth and light on my skin. I found the coverage to be light (which I tend to prefer)- it reduced the redness in my cheeks and evened out my skin tone, however didn't hide my blemishes. I don't really mind this, as I applied concealer under my eyes and over my blemishes. I also applied translucent powder over top to set it. The finish was really natural- mostly matte but a bit glowy which I quite liked. The second time I used this, I put primer underneath and used a stippling brush to apply. This made a difference, as my skin looked more glowy and more even, and I got a few compliments on my skin. I also found that I used less product to achieve the same amount of coverage. However, I found that after about 6 hours, my face started to look oily and the BB cream was beginning to wear off and I noticed some redness in my cheeks and a few dry spots. In saying that, lasting 6 hours is quite good as thats about how long (if not longer) my maybelline foundation lasts, and the oiliness could be fixed with powder to touch up.

I didn't mind the smell, it wasn't unpleasant. It smells quite similar to my other foundations. The scent is faint, once it was applied, I couldn't really smell it anymore. As far as pricing goes, I think the price is reasonable, as I found that it did the same job that my foundation does, if not better. I would say that its fairly worth the money. I didn't particularly like the brown colour of the packaging, the shade seems a bit dull and the words don't jump out at me. If I just saw the bottle on a stand I probably would walk past it, but that's just me personally. However, I like how it fits comfortably into my hand and is easy to squeeze out the right amount.

Overall, I found this BB cream to reduce the redness in my cheeks, even out my skin tone and hydrate my skin. It matched my skin colour really well, making it look slightly glowy and more flawless. However it didn't correct my blemishes (but I would have used concealer anyway) and I didn't really notice a soothing effect. My skin didn't react to this straight away, but when I removed it, it left my skin red and a bit blotchy, indicating some sort of reaction over the course of the day.

Tips: Use primer underneath, as I found I used less product and it went on more smoothly, compared to without. Also, using a stippling brush gave a more flawless finish and was easier to apply. If wearing for long periods of time, I would recommend touching up with powder, as it can become oily.

a pretty good BB cream

Skin type - I have combination - oily skin, with a few blemishes and acne spots, and I get a bit of redness on my cheeks. I also have super sensitive skin.

Consistency - This bb cream is like the texture of a moisturiser, but a little thicker. The consistency is quite creamy and easy to blend onto your skin.

Application - I found this bb cream easy to apply and blend. It was very smooth and easy to spread with my fingers. I have olive toned skin and my bb cream is in the shade "light", and was the perfect shade for my skin.

Fragrance - This bb cream didn't really have a strong smell to it, but that's what I would expect from a product designed specifically for sensitive skin. The bb cream has a nice fresh scent to it, and smells like a face moisturiser. I quite like the smell of this bb cream, as some foundations have quite a strong smell which I don't like.

Coverage - It gave light coverage that evened out my skin tone nicely and made my skin look more smooth and flawless. I applied about the size of a pea for my whole face, but you can probably build it up for a medium coverage. I did find that it didn't cover all my blemishes and you could still see my acne spots, but I wouldn't expect a bb cream to cover these as it is a light coverage product. The finish of this bb cream is dewy, but that might be because I have oily skin.

Longevity - I apply my bb cream on in the morning and it lasts for about half a day, when it will start to wear off. I also find that because of my oily skin the bb cream slides off my face quite easily. I also find that during the day my skin will start to feel greasy and appear shiny.

Price - I think the price of this product is really good. It does the same job as my revlon bb cream which I think I got for around $30. So the Garnier one is cheaper and gives me the same results.

Packaging - The bb cream comes in a bottle which is packaged in a black box. For me I'm not really fussed about the packaging, it is appealing to the eye, isn't too fancy and is pretty decent for a cheaper product. I wouldn't expect anything flash or fancy. The bottle itself stand up side down, so it's easy to squeeze the cream out and get the right amount of product you need. The lid on the bottle flicks quite tightly shut, preventing leakage.

Results - My skin quite liked this bb cream, and I didn't get any bad reactions while using it. My skin didn't sting while I applied it and it didn't go red either. As I noted above it didn't cover all my blemishes. The bb cream did smooth and hydrate my skin, but I didn't really notice that my skin was brighter.

Would I recommend it - Yes, I think this is a really good bb cream for the price you pay. It's good for everyday use when you only want a little bit of coverage. It's also easy to apply as you can use your fingers, and is perfect for a girl on the go like me as you can put it on quickly.

Tips: I apply it with my fingers and rub it between the tips of my fingers before blending onto my face, to help loosen the cream, making it smoother and easier to apply.

Average BB Cream

Consistency is thick yet easy to blend. Maybe a little bit too glittery for my liking and found at end of the day I looked very shiny. Has good coverage and looks very natural. Good for those minimal make up days. Not my fav BB cream but still worth a try!

Great skin evener

I have dry very sensitive skin. Most products I have used breaks me out in weepy dermatitis. This has caused NO itchiness, no dryness and more importantly, not so thick as to sit in eye creases and make it look like you are wearing loads of makeup! I dont want to have a mask amount of makeup on and this smooths out the skin nicely and gives me great even tone. I use it as an all day make up and I will definitely be buying again. The price is affordable for such a great product

Tips: using fingertips instead of a sponge gives a smoother finish

High hopes; let down

I have very sensitive skin so am always weary of trying new products. I had hopes for this BB cream to become an everyday wear product. I loved how it felt going on. It was light and easy to apply, just like a moisturizer. BB cream had a lovely sheer coverage and It did give my skin a lovely glowing look which i liked. However, not long after applying my skin became blotchy on my cheek bones. I also noticed that it easily came off if i brushed against something. I would recommend to people who dod not have very sensitive skin however for skin like mine i do not recommend.

Tips: Even though it states sensitive skin, test on a small patch first. Don't go lathering it on like i did.
