Garnier BB Cream - Sensitive Review - Medium

I’ve heard a lot about the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector in the last few weeks and was happy to be picked by beatyreview to review it. I noticed they only have two shades available and being quite fair it was an easy choice to go for the lightest shade in colour “Fair/Light.”

Like a lot of women I'm time poor in the mornings so am always a fan of multi-task products. This BB cream provides light coverage so for some people this can do a 3-fold duty - moisturizer, broad-spectrum sunscreen, and (light) tinted moisturiser.

I love that it has SPF 15 protection which is enough for sitting in the office all day with lunch and breaks outside in the harsh New Zealand sun.

The texture feels light yet creamy on my skin and makes my skin look healthy. If you like a natural look -this might be the product for you. The sheer tint deposits a little bit of colour while still letting my skin tone come through which is a nice touch. It helps to even out your skin tone somewhat which is great since I mainly use it when I just want sheer cover and some SPF protection. I’ve also used it under makeup and found my foundation went on easily over it and lasted just as long as it normally would.

I really liked the squeeze tube, which is convenient, hygienic and easy to get out. The size of the tube makes it super easy to pop into your handbag for touch-up’s, with no concerns about it leaking.

I prefer my Model Co BB cream more but I would consider buying this in the future if I was looking for a product to provide sheer cover on “no makeup, make up days” with some SPF protection.

As a first time BB cream user, I was pretty impressed with this. The colour wasn't great on, even though it was the lightest one, as I am quite pale. I could have done with a shade lighter, but it didn't look terrible on as it seemed to blend ok.

It had good coverage, and it stayed all day with no top ups, even when I got sweaty. My face is quite sensitive when it comes to using different products, however it didn't break out. It was easy to apply and left a good finish.

I would recommend this!

I found this BB cream worked wonderfully as a base for my foundation but also a nice skin-tone evener on days when I didn't want much makeup.

I used this product a lot over summer and found that it was super moisturising on sun damaged skin unlike some of my more full coverage BBs which can be drying. It was a light coverage but in saying that on days where my skin was looking alright already it would improve it so much more by using this.I do need extra coverage for any blemishes though.

I found this BB lasted well throughout the day and didn't become patchy or slide off, unless of course it was very very hot. I would recommend this product to someone with sensitive dry skin as it didn't make me rash out and helped to keep me moisturised.

I really like this product as a little goes a long way, and it glides on easy, with no clumping. I have dry skin on occasion, so this product was great in keeping my face hydrated and protected with its SPF. Over the course of the week I have seen that the redness has reduced, but unfortunately it doesn't hid all the blemishes, but I think with prolong usage it might. At the end of each day my face has a nice soft feel to it, which is great for the hard working person.

I really loved this cream it has a lovely texture and was easy to apply. I use tinted moisturiser daily and used my BB Cream in place of my regular brand for a whole week. It did reduce redness and it feels light on the skin. The added bonus is it is SPF 15 and available from the supermarket and a really good price. I will definitely be using Garnier Sensitive as my brand of choice now.

I was so lucky to review this BB Cream. I had previously tried one of their BB Creams but was super excited to try the sensitive one in the range. So what did I think? Here is what I think of this BB Cream:

Packaging - great packaging, easy to get the product out and it doesn't come out until you squeeze it, which is great because you don't want to squeeze too much of the product out of the tube.

Formula - I like the formula, it has a nice creamy consistency and I like that it isn't too thick or watery like some BB creams can be.

Application - The application was really good, The first time I tried it, I added the amount I wanted onto my hand and applied with a stippling brush. I found that it sunk into the skin really nicely. The next time I used it, I tried using it with my fingers and it spread a bit further than it did with the stippling brush, as I found I needed a bit more of the product as it soaked into the brush.

Coverage - I have really flawed skin and to be honest with you, it only slightly covered my skins imperfections (i.e. acne). I wasn't super impressed with it but had to remind myself that this wasn't a full coverage foundation but a tinted moisturiser.

Would I buy again? - If I were to buy it again, it would only be for the purpose of using it as a base or moisturiser and then apply my foundation and concealer over the top.

Recommend? - If you're looking for an amazing product that is going to answer all your dreams of giving you flawless skin (especially if you are acne prone like me, then sadly lovelies I can't recommend it. If you're looking for a base product and are then going to apply makeup over the top for full coverage or you're wanting just a tinted moisturiser, then this is probably going to be your ideal product.

My skin type is oily And sensitive so this was great to have a BB dream for sensitive skin as usually I have a burning sensation when I put other ones on and with this one I didn't. The consistency was thick which i like as it is easier to work with, I tried multiple ways of apply this-brush, fingers & a wet beauty blender and it applied well with a brush the best I fell and went on well and was not patchy.the coverage I would say is medium but definitely does the job and is great for people who don't wear a lot of make up or this also works amazing as a base under my foundation. The packaging I liked as it is simple, not big and bulky.

I am really happy with this BB cream. The consistency of the product was quite creamy and smoothed onto my skin nicely. I applied it using a damp make up sponge and found this worked really well. I find is great for 'no make-up' days as it gives the skin a light, dewy coverage. I also use it as a base to my foundation which works well too. Good value for money and it's in a squeezy tube which is great as it's easy to get the prodcut out.
