Garnier BB Cream - Sensitive Review - Medium

I was really excited about trailing this product, as I have never used a BB cream and wanted to see what the fuss was all about.

The consistency was quite creamy, making it really easy to put on and blend in. I mostly used my fingers, but then had a go with my Sigma F80 brush, and it went on even better! The smell was fairly subtle and not unpleasant, I didn't really notice it.

As I am normally around a medium, I didn't think there would be any problem with the shade, especially in a BB cream, but it was far too dark for me. So I had to make sure to blend it all in really well, and I never put on more than a sheer layer. But it did look really good under my foundation. The SPF was an added bonus though.

I kept making the mistake of squirting too much out, but once I got the hang of it, I am pretty sure that it will last quite a while. I'm not 100% sold that this does everything it claims. While it definitely makes my skin seem smoother, and doesn't flake at all (a real problem with my super dry skin) I haven't yet noticed any reduced redness, corrects blemishes, and it can feel a little powdery after an hour or two. I would probably give it another go in summer when the shade might look better on me, or possibly even try the light shade, although I think I would rather spend the $17.49 trying another brand. I do have very sensitive skin, and often come up with rashes and itchiness with many products, but I definitely did not suffer from any of this with this BB cream.

The packaging (box) has a lot of information on it, but I didn't find the tube itself very attractive. Im not sure if it was that the colour of it made it look outdated or something else, but I lean towards the colour.

To wind it up, I would recommend this to friends with sensitive skin issues, but I would advise them to make sure they can get the shade that would suit them, as the medium really is quite dark.

I was so happy when I got picked and sent this BB cream, I have sensitive skin and is red (even worst when drinking lol) I put the BB cream on after using my daily face cream and went on really well, was abit worried when I first used it as looked abit dark (I have the medium shade) but when using it on my face it blended well and adjust to my skin tone. The BB cream makes your skin look even, tones down the redness and covers well giving a nice natural tint of colour as well, I really love this product. Only thing I dislike if your a little heavy handed like me when dispensing the BB cream from the tube if it comes out to fast you can't put back what you don't use so end up wasting it, if there's one thing to change would be to have the opening smaller so you can control how much BB cream is coming out. Also a little goes a long way, again I love this product and will be buying it again once I run out :)

Firstly the packaging for this product is pretty good for the price of the product, it has clear labelling so you know what it is. The consistency is the same as most BB Creams I have used before, however I feel as though this is shearer in coverage in this product for someone with skin like mine that has some high colour and scarring, in saying that I would use it as a primer under a foundation, be aware that it does give a slightly matte finish. I found this product to have little to no fragrance and found better applications when I applied it with my fingers but I noticed no "miracle" results that it calms. For me this product doesn't seem to last very long, maybe 4 hours. Because this was just a pretty average BB Cream I wouldn't recommend it to a friend because I think you can buy BB Creams that are better for not much more money.

For the last 2 weeks I have been trying the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream - Sensitive. My skin is combination and somewhat sensitive and prone to breakouts. When I go through times where my skin gets acne at a certain time of the month I usually give my skin a break from make up but decided I would continue with the BB cream. I did think that the spots I got went away a lot faster. I thought that maybe the medium was a bit too dark for my complexion but it really didn't matter. I enjoyed having a little colour in my face without it looking like a bad tan. I used it in place of my moisturiser and used it with my regular foundation and I really loved the coverage I got. It did seem to soothe the redness in my face. The packaging was nice but maybe not something you would choose out of many other products on a shelf in the supermarket. I have gone out just wearing the BB cream when I was in a rush and felt confident that I didn't look ashen. I did not see results in the first week but definitely by the 2nd week my skin felt more moisturised and healthier. I am very pleased with the results and will be recommending it to my friends. The price is reasonable and I would happily be able to sneak it in with my groceries.

I found this product very easy to apply with good cover up of blemishes. Very light product that was easy to wear every day. Not one to normally put on makeup but may change with such an easy product and good results.

I enjoyed the idea of putting the cream on daily as a moisturiser and having the slight foundation/colour in it was great as it easy to put on (just like a moisturiser) and gave a slight cover! The sensitive cream is made for people with sensitive skin to reduce redness/blemishes/hydrate - the cream did not do all these things it stated on the packaging that it would after first use. After using it for a longer timeframe(1-2weeks) i began to notice when i wasnt wearing it that it was leaving my skin slightly less dehydrated. I gave it a try wearing it under my foundation and normal make up but it left my skin looking quite wet and greasy around my forehead, nose and cheeks. I would continue to use this daily as a moisturiser but won't be trying it with my make up again! :)

Great for a quick coverage when your in a hurry would be a good product to take camping at the beach in the summertime with its UV protection. It is hydrating throughout the day, though is not instantly flawless as it says. Easy to apply, it looks thick but goes on smoothly. Smells nice. Quick and easy to wash off. At $17.49 its good value.

When the original BB Cream was released by Garnier a few years ago I was keen to try it but a little sceptical about what it promised to do. I tend to have skin that can be quite red and dry and has a bit of sun damage. Not a lot but enough to be noticeable if there is not enough cover.

I had tried many creams and foundations but they had always been found wanting and never really provided the coverage I needed. The only success I've had is with mineral foundations but I was keen to give Garnier BB Cream a try as I really wanted to just be able to apply a quick cream rather than a full-on foundation, particularly in the weekends and on holiday, etc. Afterall, who really wants the hassle of trying to cover up skin problems when you should be relaxing!

I tried Garnier BB cream and was completely convinced. It did do what it promised and the joy of being able to just put on a light and non-greasy cream that also provided a great moisturiser was bliss!

When the opportunity to try this new formula came up I leapt at it as I wanted to try the new version for sensitive skin that promised to sooth redness and conceal blemishes.

It is an incredibly moisturising product and I do feel that my skin is softer and certainly a little less red. I'm looking forward to continuing to use it to see if my skin continues to improve. I still need to use a little mineral foundation to conceal problem areas but it is a minimal amount. My skin tone has definitely improved and also looks a lot brighter - a bonus at any age and especially as you get older!

I continue to be impressed by Garnier products over their more expensive counterparts which don't always do what they say they will.

I recommend that you give this a try, especially if you have skin that needs a bit of care and attention.

I love the Garnier BB Cream for Sensitive skin. It glides on effortlessly and does all it advertises. My skin is softer and more hydrated after only a weeks use. The light variety perfectly complimented my pale skin tone which I have a lot of problems matching with other brands. It also contains a light fragrance that is not over powering but invigorating.
