Garnier BB Cream - Sensitive Review - Medium

The texture of this cream is good, it's easy to apply and doesn't smell hideous. It's easy to apply and hard to mess up!

I've been using the regular skin version of these on and off for a little while now, and given that I have sensitive skin, I thought that this one would be awesome! It seems lighter in shade than the normal skin version, so I had to add bronzer to make my face look less pale, which added some time to my morning routine.

I think the overall coverage in this one is better than the regular one, it's less oily or something so doesn't require as much effort to build the coverage. It does need blending a bit more because of this.

Positives: no reaction whatsoever on my skin, good coverage, and lasts quite a while especially with powder over it. Good retail price too compared to lots of other BB creams out there!

Negatives: paler in colour than the equivalent one in the normal skin version.

It would be great if Garnier released one that is in between the light and medium as I feel that would work better for my skin tone, and I can't be the only one.

I have struggled with sensitive skin for years. Trying a new product can be hit or miss for me as sometimes its fine, and sometimes I wake up with a breakout or even occasionally a rash. So it was with great excitement that I got to try the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream especially for sensitive skin. I applied it like a foundation, blending over specific problem areas to start with, but the moisturizer-like consistency means you can just quickly rub it in like you would your normal day cream, which makes it pretty convenient for rushed mornings. There was no particular fragrance, as is the case with many sensitive skin products. That was a big tick for me, as perfumed products make my skin explode! The shade was a very natural tint, being light it was great for my translucent winter skin but I would probably want to bump up a shade or add some bronzer in the summer! I really enjoyed the coverage the BB cream gave, it gave me a nice a glow and evened out my chronically red cheeks and occasional acne scarring. Extra concealer was needed over pimples, but overall it was a lovely natural coverage. I did find it absorbed quite a lot over the course of the day, as often occurs with BB creams. Having extra moisturizer and sunblock underneath helped with this, but it might mean its not the best choice for those busy working ladies or rushed mums wanting a quick one-step routine to last all day. Overall, I really enjoyed this product and will continue to use it in the future. As I'm a student at university, I don't need heavy makeup and really enjoy the fresh, light and quite dewey appearance this BB cream leaves. (The extra moisture and SPF are a godsend for the day after a big night out as well!) This is going to be a regular in my beauty bag!

I really loved this product. I never use skin care that you can buy from a supermarket as they almost always irritate my skin and leave a shiny residue. I love that this has the tint to even out skin tone but it's still light and smooth like a moisturizer so you don't look 'made up'.

Wow! I am a very novice Make Up user so i was very excited to be apart of this trial! Until recently my make up "drawer" consisted of 1 Eyeliner and a $2 shop mascara. I had to google how to use this! Having very VERY sensitive skin, I was skeptical, I don't use face washes, I barely us moisturizers on my face unless it's really dry. But this BB Cream was AMAZING! Not only did it blend into my skin tone really well (also another struggle I have), it did not once give me dry skin! It didn't feel like I was wearing anything, just dissolved into my skin, and I didn't break out the next day! It was really easy to use, just like applying moisturiser and it lasted me the day. Will definately be keeping this in my drawer!

I have fairly normal skin - a few blemishes, but mostly clear. However I do react to chemicals/some products and come out blotchy and red. I found the Consistency of this BB cream light and un-noticeable. It was easy to apply and smoothed on with my fingers and sponges smoothly. It had a pleasant smell that was not overpowering. The coverage was perfect for day wear and could be worn on its on for a casual look. It also wore well under other makeup for evenings. It seemed to last all day The price was good - it is an achievable price point. The packaging was easy to use and easy to get varying amounts out. The overall results were good. My skin did not react to it and it felt non greasy.

At this price, and the variety of types and colours, I would recommend this BB cream as a good everyday product.

I loved this product. I used it when I went to the supermarket and it took the place of my usual moisturise and foundation routine, which is annoying when I am in a rush. It does not have the most coverage like a foundation but it leaves my skin feeling soft and fresh. I might consider buying this as it lasted all day and it's quick and easy.

I used the Garnier 'miracle' BB cream this morning, and lets just say i'm still waiting for the 'miracle' to happen. I had the cream in the 'light' shade but it definitely was not light! Now I'm a pale skinned person, but I wouldn't consider myself the palest of pales! i usually use the 2nd or 3rd shade in when it comes to choosing foundations. But this was not light at all!! It didn't blend well, it left me with little orangey patches because my skin was obviously too pale for it. So already i am not liking this 'miracle BB cream' .....

Now it was quite moisturising, which it says it is! So i'm happy with that aspect of it! But it didn't quite hide my blemishes or make me look perfect.... So i think i'll stick to my foundation to cover my blemishes, and photo shop to make me look perfect ;)

I have sensitive skin, and this cream didn't make me break out in rashes , so A++ for the sensitive part :) All in all, I wasn't very happy with this BB cream :( Maybe I might keep it for summer, when my skin might be a bit darker so it will blend better!

Garnier BB cream Sensitive in light = NOT FOR PALE PEOPLE!

I have tried the Garnier BB cream in the past and it was ok but had nothing on the original Asian BB creams.

I was looking forward to trying one suited to sensitive skin. I was pretty disappointed to be honest. Tried it several times throughout the trial using a beauty blender, brush and hands but nothing made it work like it claimed. A BB cream shouldn't take this much work to apply and look good on the skin. It would sit on top of my skin and never really soaked in, I could see the mineral pigments sitting on top of my skin and this made it look patchy.

I felt like I couldn't wear this out of the house especially because it ran far too pink and a little dark for my skin tone - I am a NC15 in MAC. I have dry, sensitive skin.

I enjoyed spending heaps less time on my make routine while using the bb cream how ever as an everyday foundstion alternative I wouldnt recommend it if your job is high stress and fast passed, I looked like I had nothing in about half way through the day. My skin felt really smooth with it on and didn't break out which is awesome

To start off with, I am very very very pale. The colour I used was light but when I squeezed it out I was initially concerned that the colour would be too dark for me. However applying the light but creamy bb cream it melted into my skin both in term of colour and application.

I have used this both alone and under a normal coverage foundation. Alone it gave me nice glow and evened my skin tone - just needed a bit of concealer for a few bits. Under foundation it gave a great base for my foundation - however I would prefer to see a higher SPF.

I can't really judge the 24hr hydration claims as I wash my face at night!
