Good setting powder.

I got a mini pot of this along with a bunch of other travel sized shiseido products. This came with a cute little puff and a very sturdy screw on lid.

I usually stray away from loose powders because it's just such an effort to use and I find them quite wasteful. Also it's hard to control the exact amount of powder on the brush. In order to not look cakey, I use the puff to pick up some powder then use a brush to pick of the product off that puff. It's a little more trouble but it means I don't have to waste it by tapping half of it away.

When I wear this it feels light and unnoticeable. It doesn't settle into my fine lines after a while and it doesn't accentuate any unevenness or bumps on my skin. After a few hours, my skin still looks semi matte and 'fresh' as if I had just done my makeup. Even when I tried a full coverage look it still didn't look that cakey.

This doesn't have much of a smell and although fine, it's not one of those powders that fly everywhere when you open the lid. The colour is transluscent but I think it'll best suit light to medium skin tones.

Although this was a good setting powder with definite results, I still prefer the convenience of a pressed powder. It's just so much faster and easier to use. Also the price of this i just a tad high for a loose powder.

Love!

This is my favourite setting powder. I received this as a gift and just can't get enough of it...However I'm almost out and am not to sure I can afford the price tag no matter how good it is.

It comes in a nice little stained plastic container with a puff (That I don't use) and a sifter grate. Product comes out with ease and there is never excess through the grate.

I use this product on my T zone and it gives a nice satin finish. It also doesn't cake my face and leaves my face oil free for quite some time.

Will repurchase at some point just not right now.

Shiseido Translucent Loose Powder

I'm usually not a fan of loose powders. This powder is very easy to press into the skin and has a very natural finish. I have used this over both fuller coverage foundation and sheer cover and it blends over the top effortlessly. It is very fine milled so it's not too chunky and doesn't leave the skin looking dry. The powder puff is nice too it doesn't grab too much product off from the face when placing powder and doesn't cause caking. I find it hard sometimes to find a beautiful finishing powder with no tint that goes on well and this one does the trick. I would recommend fair skinned girls who find it hard to get a powder to not alter the colour of your foundation to try this out.

Tips: Use powder puff to gently press into skin. Brush off any excess with a fluffy brush. Beautiful to use to set under the eye too.
